    We've had to call more times than i can keep track of. We've had knology for 9 months and have had 4 different boxes. The DVR erases previously recorded shows and just stops recording shows that we set up on its own. The customer service people, though nice, are completely incompetent. We are told a different story every time. We were offered one month free cable for our inconvenience but all i want is something that works!! You're not going to find it with knology. CANNOT WAIT until we move out of our plan and chose another cable company. I thought comcast was bad, but I would pay double to have them back!!

    Knology of Kansas, former Sunflower Broadband services are not even on the scale. Don't bother with paying for greater bandwidth because there is NO SLA (SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT)!!! Which means, just because you pay for a certain bandwidth level, it is variable from 2Mb. You will never see any speed close to what you expect or believe you've paid for.... While calling Tech Support because of S&#!Ty performance, I was told to reboot my cable modem..... GREAT!!! So what the F is that going to do when your traffic routes are over subscribed and there's NO TRAFFIC MGMT. For those of you who don't understand this.... it means they don't control or throttle the network for performance!!!! I asked for one of their System Engineers to check IP traffic and the customer service rep told me they would have to send someone out before they could look at their network to see what was going on or causing significant slowness in bandwidth.     i didn't want to give the star yet the system need me to. As for me, Knology is far beyond terrible. The word "Terrible" is a compliment to it because the word describes a situation much much better than the service Knology provides. it is the worst company you can ever imagine. The internet access is highly unstable. It is extremely expensive yet it monopolize in my neighborhood. The customer service is also unhelpful. The technicians don't do a good job in setting up. They cannot even figure out what is a modem and what is a router and they cannot tell the difference between a cable wire and an internet wire. They cannot tell whether in your apartment there's network access and i and my roommate eventually helped them got internet finally done yet they charged for that service $116! They charge us about $70 a month and when we complain about totally no access for 1 week they said they would only refund us $3 for that because we still have cable.     Knology Broadband is a waste of money. They try to micromanage everything that goes on in their networks.... I shouldn't have to give them the MAC address of my Linksys-G router, or my XBox 360 just so I don't have connection problems... They tried to charge me 3 times for installation... 25 dollars of misc charges on every bill, 40 dollars to change the bill from my name to my fiance's name... Which I refuse to pay. Not to mention, when the boneheads came to install my internet services, I had to tell them how to do their job, because I'm more versed in networks and innerconnectivity than they are.... Time Warner Cable.... You will soon have my business.

    Knology liars! Been working patiently with knology for almost 2 years. My internet connection drops several times a day. They told me it was my router, not them. I have replaced my router twice. Now I am using a top of the line Netgear router (recommended by them). Still having the problem. They want me to replace my router AGAIN! This one is less then 6 months old. They have been telling me all along that NO one else in my area is experiencing the same problem. In talking with neighbors last night I foiund that others in my area have been complaining to them about the SAME EXACT problem. I say time to go COMCAST!

    I got the Knology "bundle"--phone, cable, and computer. It took a good 6 weeks for them to get the computer modem and comptures working right--my network card on my laptop was never compatible with their modem, so we gave up on that. Biggest problem was getting a straight accurate answer about how much this servicve costs. Kept changing--and still does. Its better than dial-up, but sure not the best.
