Always loved Knoebel's. Been there twice a year for the past 10 years, always camping for approximately 3 nights each time. Only park I know of that you don't have to pay an admission, pay per ride or an all day pass(during the week) The only park where you see adults run to get an outside horse on the Carrosel (to get the rings) Roller coasters are excellent. The phoniex and Twister are two top rated coasters. Rides for all ages, but really more geared for the younger children. Alot of well kept older rides, but seems to be adding a new ride or two per year lately, geared toward teenage kids and youngsters Food, I would rate as average in the park, but don't expect fast service at the pizza shop. Prices are much better then any amusement park i've ever been to. Allowed too bring your own food in coolers and find a table in the pavallion area let your things sit until you need it, done this many times and no one has ever messed with our things. Stayed at the ajoining campground may tim... Read more

I liked the free parking and no entry free. We bought all day passes for the kids and the adults used tickets for the few rides we rode. Alot of the rides looked run-down and needing paint or a power washing. Good selection of rides, some old and some new. Lots of kiddie rides. Phoenix roller coaster is very good with lots of air time but it's reputation as one of the worlds best seemed over hyped. Food was the worst of any amusement park I've been to but you can bring your own and eat in a pavillion. Pizza has leathery crust, potato cakes were deep fried and much too greasy, steak sandwich was a one Steak Um on a roll (I could buy a whole box of them for what I paid for one and usually put two on a roll for a decent sandwich). I have no idea how they can claim they were rated best amusement park food for 6 years. Overall considering the 3 hour drive we'd probably not go back. There are so many other (and better) amusement parks in Pennsylvania.

This is one of the last parks with great rides and food that doesn't cost to park or enter the park. It's still pay as you go or pay nothing and watch everyone else have fun.

Best Family owned amusement park. Has two of the top wooden coasters in the world along with great flat rides. It's mots famous coaster is the Phoenix. and it has quite a background. It was the first wooden coaster to be moved. Moved from Playland Park. Previously known as "Rocket". The park has been doing a good job keeping it mroe family oriented. They haven't built any bigger thril rides because they don't want to attract the same people who go to Six Flags parks who ruin the whole expirience. So Knoebels has all the what i call " silent thrills". Greatest rides without the jerks knowing about them to coem over and start sticking gum over everything and cutting in line.. SO Knoebels is fresh. Deffiantly recomend going there.

This is an awesome park! I love it! They have The Phoenix, ranked as one of the best wooden roller coasters of all time! As well as the Twister, which was voted the best new ride of 1999. It was also voted the best family park a couple of times. It has free admission so you don't have to pay to get in! I've been there 15 times, and it's still my favorite! It is the bomb! Take it from Jorgan von Stingle!
