Where to begin. I wasted countless hours and time on trying to receive back the money I paid out of pocket for the services I received. I first have to say that the surgery for the extraction of my teeth was great, and the doctors were competent and friendly. However, the billing there is horrendous. There are two people at the office who handle billing and they have to be the most incompetent people I have ever dealt with: they lose mail, claim they haven’t received things when the provider clearly sent it in, and lose faxes after you send them in-it is really astonishing. Time is a valuable asset to me because of the nature of my profession and I can tell you I have spent over 10 hours trying to help them at the office in connection with my billing. Please, I beg you if you don’t want to have to deal with drama, having dental work done is enough pain, then stay away from this place. Dr. Klein and Dr. Ward if you happen to be reading this please get new billing staff so your offi... Read more

Dr. Klein was referred to me by my regular dentist, Stewart Lantner (btw is also another FANTASTIC dentist if your looking for one- located at 200 west 57th street, 8th floor) when I needed to have my wisdom teeth pulled out. He was very friendly, very patient, and explained in detail the procedure. Even on the day of the surgery, he went through everything again and put my mind at ease. I wasn’t in as much pain as I thought I would be. I highly recommend Dr. Klein!

Best oral surgeon. Only regret is not going to him for previous work. Had my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and you couldn't even tell. HIGHLY recommend him. Very friendly, and thorough. Goes through the procedure with you and is a very good communicator. His work ethic is amazing. Hand down the best. There is no pain or swelling. Just typical post op things (little bleeding but nothing crazy)

I really hate going to the dentist but I was referred to Dr. Klein to remove my wisdom teeth. The procedure was completely painless! When I went home I wasn't even sore and the novacaine wore away without pain. He was very nice and very professional. After 2 days I'm even eating real food without much pain, even though that's probably not a very good idea. I highly recommend Dr. Klein!

I had a complicated oral surgery done, and Dr.Klein performed it without pain and easing my nervousness. Highly HIGHLY recommended. Felt little to no pain after surgery and as promised, have no recollection of the surgery itself.

Dr Desmond J Ward did a good job with extracting my 2 upper wisdom teeth. However, I am very unhappy with the billing and refund practices of the clinic. For the past 3 months, I've been trying to sort this out with the clinic and to get my refund. I've talked to several administrators and have been given the "run-around". I've been leaving messages for Dr Ward to call me back, and even sent in a fax. He has yet to return my call. I still have not received my refund. While Dr Ward did a good job with the extraction, I do NOT recommend this clinic at all - not worth the stress and wasted effort I have put in thus far to try to get my refund. The administrators are not empowered to make decisions and the decision-makers avoid handling the issue!

Very nice service. Although I was given a slightly too large dose of Valium, which, instead of making the procedure pain-free completely knocked me out. The bad part was the billing, with unbelievably unqualified personnel charged with processing claims. The check from the insurance company apparently never arrived. So for months I had to fax in my insurance company statement trying to obtain a refund due me. I called and send letters and received an assurance from the dentist himself that the check will be mailed within 2 weeks. It never was and I had to call the insurance company twice in response to the letters they sent me requesting more information about this claim. Apparently it was submitted two more times!!! When all the office had to do was call the insurance company, be told that the check was issued, inform the insurance company that the check was never received, had a stop put on the check and a new one issued. Now I am in the ridiculous situation: the insurance company c... Read more

Dr. Klein made a very unpleasant procedure comfortable and answered all my questions calmly and thoroughly. He was gentle, understanding, and I had the best oral surgery I've ever had--and I've had plently of them. I highly recomend Dr. Klein.
