I have used this soap for over 45 years (bask when it sold in the stores for 10 cents a bar) and have never found another that compares. It lathers great, even in the hard water we have in N. Florida. It can be hard to find in the grocery stores but is worth the effort.

For 58 yrs, I have tried ALL the so called "skin soaps" and each time with disappointment. In Kirks non detergent soap I have finally found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. NO soap residue...squeaky clean feeling..never dry! I will NEVER use another soap, and to "you know where" with the soaps that CLAIM to make your skin look younger because of the cremes and conditioners..and DETERGENTS! Save that for your greasy pots & pans.

This is THE BEST soap that I have ever tried! Period! My husband loves and swears by it and so do I. Wonderful stuff, AND no harsh chemicals and bad things in it!

No matter how hard your water is, this soap will lather like crazy! I usually break out on my back and chest from regular soap...with this stuff three days later, I'm pimple free. The bubbles are awesome, very clean skin, I have zero irritation and I have whipmy skin. My absolute favorite soap ever. I'll drive 40 miles to buy it at Cracker Barrel...of course I have to eat while I'm there. THE BEST soap there is.

My husband introduced me to this soap ... and I don't think I'll ever go back. Our soap pump hasn't been touched since I set a bar of Kirk's on the bathroom sink. It rinses cleaner than anything else I've ever used - and when I do use regular soaps now, I feel like I'm not getting clean enough. Excellent, excellent product.

Hey, I've used it all! From department store to grocery store. I come from a rather odiferous family (Ha,ha) and this soap is hands down the best ever. I like the bar better than the liquid version, as it suds nicely. I have been using Kirk's for about a year now. I stumbled upon it at a Cracker Barrel restaurant....it is sold at several grocery stores that I go to now and I couldn't be happier! My whole family uses it!

I find that this soap is so cleansing that I do not havr to use an expensive exfolient to remove the dead and dry skin. I love the squeaky clean feel after your bath.

Great soap. I have very sensitive skin and it seems to be excellent for it, no irritation at all. It is expensive compared to others. They could work on the price.

Well i finally tried this Kirks castille soap, and its great in lather, lathers up nicely, but be careful of your sensitive areas, like your bottom, that for sure will get a slight irritation, i sure hope kirks will improve there bar soap where it wont cause irritation to our bottom areas!! i felt clean with this soap, but my hands on top was dry, one thing great about this soap is that when my son is highly dirty from playing out in the yard, and barefeet, and muddy....this kirks really cleans his feet and body good, but again my 4 yr old son had irritation to his bottom also due to this soap, im sad kirks soap does this to us all, i just hope they formulate a soap for sensitive combination skin here!! this soap runs down fast if left in water or used for extensive period of days!! but i feel this soap is GREAT to remove dirt from ones body...or car grease!!! aloha marty

Kirk's is the best soap by far that I have ever used. Generates suds and rinses better than anything else!

This soap is very silky, long lasting, and leaves the skin squeaky clean. It is excellent for oily or very dirty skin and rinses off readily. It is a good performer in hard water and leaves very little scum in the tub. BUT, it seems to be more alkaline than most soaps, and I would not recommend shaving with it, or washing the delicate groin area with this soap. Also take care to not let the suds splash in your eyes. It is a strong, hard working soap, and reasonably priced. I have used it for years in my shower.
