I visited Boomerang Bay last summer and I just was not impressed. It doesn't hold a candle to The Beach Waterpark. The ambience, palm trees, green foilage at The Beach adds so much to making The Beach feel tropical and unique. Kings Island is mostly concrete and just feels like they don't want you to hang out very long. It's not condusive to lounging, laying out, and making a full day of it.

In Short While everyone from thrill-seeking adults to their children notice the Eiffel Tower first, it's the Beast, the world's longest wooden roller coaster, which prompts the most awe. Other attractions include Drop Zone, called "the world's tallest gyro drop," and Face/Off, a face-to-face inverted roller coaster. Little ones love Hanna-Barbera Land; older kids hit Nickelodeon Splat City, featuring the Rugrats and the haunted Shriek House. For the hot Cincinnati summer, there's Waterworks, the 30-acre water park.

I'm from Orlando, Fl and I use to work for a company that designs Themed Parks and Themed Resorts. Now I just enjoy going to parks across the country I've been to just about every one. Kings Island has something for everyone. A top notch water park, An incredible Childrens area, Mild, Wild to extreme thrill rides, ranked 2nd to Cedar Point for most Roller Coasters. The Park has always been clean and staff friendly. The Beast In my opinion is the best ride in the world especially when you ride it at night! Son of the Beast is one of the scariest and from day one roughest coasters I've ever ridden. Through out Kings Islands History the Park has been innovators of many coasters and childrens themed rides. The Taft Corporation Bought Coney Island amusement park in the 60's to help promote their Hanna Barbara cartoons and characters and moved the Park from the Banks of the often flooded Ohio to 20 miles north of Cincinnati. They made the first suspended Coaster the Bat in the early 8... Read more

I;m in my 20s and I've been going to PKI since I was three. I've had a season pass since I was old enough to need one. PKI is by far THE BEST amusement park I've been to(and I've done PKI, Carrowinds, King's Dominion, Cedar Point, Kentucky Kingdom, Busch Gardens, Disney World, and all of the Universal Studios parks). Yes, the lines can be long, but if you go Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, you will walk onto almost every ride. If you plan on visiting more than once, buy a season pass. You get into all of the other Paramount Parks(such as Carrowinds and King's Dominion) for FREE and worth the $90. The gold passes are very helpful, too, because the preferred parking is fifty times better than the(what felt like) miles of walking I used to do before gold passes. You get double rides on some rides and early ride times on most rides. The roller coasters are some of the best I've ever been on--the Beast is close to the top of my list(Cedar Point's Millenium Force barely makes number one) and... Read more

This is my personal favorite. It is absolutely beautiful and extremely easy to navigate and get around in. It doesn't have to have the biggest and tallest roller coaster in the world to be the best in my book. It might not have the tallest roller coaster but it has alot more of them and they are all extremly fun and fast and that's all I really care about. I'd rather have numerous 300 ft.tall roller coasters to ride and ride and ride and ride than to have a 301 ft.tall roller coaster to wait and wait and wait and wait to ride ! And,because there are collectively,so many more roller coasters and many more rides for everyone to use and choose from,I don't have to stand and wait anywhere from 3 to 5 hours in the hot Florida sun, just to get on and ride one time like I do at that one down in Orlando !
