Kids' Encore

I love shopping at this store. I always get great deals for clothes. I've taken in my boys clothes and they've sold them for me. I love not having to hadlel with anything, just drop off a bag and they give me a check later. I recommend this store to anyone with kids. You'll love it.

This is dated Jan 2010 *****I love that Kids Encore has grown from around 150 consignors to nearly a thousand in just over a year. It is hard to make everyone happy, but we definately do our best in making sure all our customers are cared for. I have personally only had two unhappy customers in the time that I have owned the store, and with saying that I want to address "Militarymama and JCmama" who are one in the same. "Militarymama & JCmama" (the same person) has dogged us for the last month or so. She has come into our store pulling hangers off of clothing, tearing up price tags and in a loud voice telling everyone around her that Kids Encore is "Trashy" ....etc...I dont know what her problem is being that she has never asked to speak with me personally. I do want the public to know that I have installed cameras and have all of her doings on camera. She will no longer be welcome in my house. I don't understand a negative review of this business. Ever since it was placed under new management/ownership a year or so ago, it has undergone a makeover for the better! As a consignor, I make great money or earn exchange credit that allows me to trade clothes I can't use for clothes that I can! As a consumer, I can find Gymboree, Gap, Children's Place and all my favorite brands for cents on the dollar. The only clothes on the rack are of high-quality and I don't have to spend hours digging to find what my children need. Thank God for this store!!

My friend told me that she consigns her boys clothing at this store. Consignment is new to me, so I went into the store and asked the lady how it all works. She told me to just try a few items at first to see if I would like it. I gave her about 10 things. About 2 months later I went to see If I had a check. I had a nice check and was very suprised how easy it was. Now I am going to go through all those boxes in the garage. If you havent been to Kids Encore, go! Its a cute place to shop and make money!

It is a cute little store. Jasmine is very friendly. Since I started consigning at Kids Encore 4 months ago, I have made over $325. I tried selling this stuff on craigslist, but I couldn't stand being stood up by "potential" buyers. Jasmine makes it really easy for me to sell my stuff there. Would I recommend Kids Encore...heck ya!

not for profit........bs.....they are making all profit from this store......they take 60% while giving the consigner 40%.....If you are miltary go to the thrift shop on post. This store is a joke.....

I really liked this store because it is properly stocked, it has a variety of things daily and i always get suprised by my finds! Every time ive gone ive found Gymboree and other brand name clothing. They also carry equipment for reasonable prices. They properly disinfect their items so it makes me feel more secure about buying. Its worth giving it a try. Make your own judgement. The girls there are very attent too. It is clean and it has a little room for your kids to play while you look around.! Very convinient.

I was told this store was the only children's consignment store in El Paso and I wanted to check it out right away. When I walked in, I felt like I was in a nice little boutique. The design of the store was very cute....you could tell it was personally owned and not a non-for-profit thrift shop! The clothes were clean and I didn't have to worry about spots, and It smelled clean which is a big plus for me because I have allergies. The staff was very friendly and they made me feel very comfortable. I would reccomend Kids Encore to anyone!

I made the venture to Kids' Encore after reading the two glowing recommendations on Citysearch. I drove my 3 year old all the way across town thinking I would find some great maternity clothes and her some playclothes and maybe even a toy or two. Wow was I wrong! Our bedroom is larger than this store and the selection was terrible. I would not recommend anyone going to this store for any reason and will certainly never return.

I was really amazed at the way kids encore has all the clothing pre-selected so that we don't have to worry about picking through it. Also the way the store is arranged makes us feel welcome and comfortable about buying second-hand items. It doesn't have that musty, funny smell that other thrift stores usually have! I love that we can find anything from clothing, toys, baby equipment,shoes and maternity! How good is that! The best thing is the prices. You must visit it!

i've been shopping at Kids Encore for a long time. My grandkids are already 8 and 10. I always find great stuff for them. The best time to shop there is...well, I have to keep at least one secret. Find out for yourself.
