Sat Aug 28 2010I love these chips...compared to lays, you get the same amount of chips same price...But kettle chips are like real chips very crunchy but not hard to bite =D You have to shake the bag with kettle because the flavoring sits at the bottom...But anyways kettle does not taste like it was made in a mass production factory...I ABSOLUTELY HATE SALT AND VINEGER...but my brother just had to have a bag of it...I just couldnt stop eating them...i didnt like the flavor...but oohhhh the chips MMMMMMM-i plan on buying another bag of kettle chips today =D

Tue Oct 20 2009I once loved these chips and they were the only chips i would buy. I discovered them when I was in England back in 2000 and quickly became a fan. About a year ago I picked up a bag that was on sale at my local supermarket. I was finding it odd that they were on sale so much but took advantage of it. After opening the bag I found the chips were not even close to the Kettle chips I was used to. They were all uniform whitish yellow in color, flavor was way off, the lovely extra crisp brown chips were gone completely and I was very disappointed. So I e-mailed Kettle with the following: "What Happened? I bought this bag of chips the other day and they have a very different taste; It tastes "cheaper". I don't know how else to put it... I also noticed that the chips seemed to be less cooked as I did not see any of the browner colored chips that have the most flavor. I am hoping that nothing has changed with the ingredients or process used to produce this product. Did I just get a weird batch?... Read more

Thu Jan 22 2009Don't like kettle cooked. They are too tough, and I don't think the flavor is as good as the regular ones. I like 'em baked.

Wed Jun 15 2005Premium chips, cooked in small batches using russett potatoes and fried in peanut oil, all natural ingredients. The honey dijon flavour is so irresistable that you could easily finish a bag if you're not careful.

Fri Apr 01 2005Pretty tasty, and with a good texture and real crispness. I don't see them much where I live, but they're one of the few kinds of potato chips I like.

Mon Feb 25 2002These are pretty tasty and seem to be thicker and crunchier than most of the potato chips on the market. My favorite flavor is the "sea salt and vinegar." My only complaint is that they are pricy - a $.99 bag gets you significantly less than a comparably priced bag of Doritos.

Fri Jan 25 2002"Salty, fat and fried". Uhh, excuse me, but isn't that the definition of a potato chip? Actually, these are very good chips - on the thicker, crispier side and somewhat similar to the New York Deli or Crunchers chip - both favorites of mine for years. Very tasty and not the least bit nauseating to my jaded American palate.

Sun Sep 09 2001This came to my local Swedish shop last year as well. Since I had a special occasion to celebrate I decided to spend some money and buy a more expensive brand (i.e Kettle Chips). Sadly these chips were so salty, so fat and so fried that after finishing half the bag I felt a serious need to throw up. And don't get me wrong I'm can finish a 200g Estrella in 1 hour or less. But something about the way these were made just put me off chips for a while. I still haven't given these another shot, and doubt I ever will.
