Mon Sep 08 2008Prospective home buyers are hereby requested to read the fineprints on the contract before signing it. The home owners of Elita Promenade, the first venture of KPDL in in India are facing a lot of issues as mentioned on http://www.elitapromenade.com Better be safe than sorry later.

Sun Aug 10 2008Keppel Corporation of Singapore fame came to India to launch their maiden project Elita Promenade with Puravankara as a dummy partner. This project has been a sham right from the beginning though it promises "World class living spaces". Dont be mislead by their Singapore pedigree. Read on for just a few major glitches: 1. They are mostly courteous and ask u to send them an email 2. Wherever the specs are clear they have been upto the mark 3. They have contracted India's best contractor to build the project 4. They have promised compensation for delay to owners where the payments are on time by the owner and till date are steadfast (only 15 out of the 1500 apts are ready for possession as on date Jul 2008). 5. The aesthetics of the apartment/buildings and project are good. 6. They sometimes listen where it is no cost to them - e.g.Colour of the apartments - residents did not want a coat of gray over White and they agreed, some doors initially were painted blue and they relented with white doors when the residents protested. Not so good things are: 1. Their poor attitude - Mostly Don't listen, respond. 2. Flexibility to adapt to local condition where it suits ... Read more
