Sat Dec 06 2008This is a very nice scooter, my husband which weights 170 lbs. was able to scoot along on this scooter. Very substantial very well made scooter. Nice size tires and the brakes work very good.

Thu Dec 04 2008My daughter got this as a Christmas present when she was five because she was having trouble learning to ride a bike and wanted to keep up with the older kids. It was a huge hit. Two years later she can ride a bike just fine but loves the scooter more. It is unique on our street and all the kids want to ride it. I got a pink and blue flowered basket to put on the front to "girly" it up a little bit and it works just great for us. I think the best ages for the scooter are about 4-10.

Mon Nov 24 2008I purchsed 2 of these scooters, one for my 9 year old step-son, the other for myself. While it is a little small for an adult it is sturdy enough for me to ride. The brakes are not the best, they tend to stick and not fully release, but we are not traveling at high rates of speed, so they will do. The scooter is a lot of fun. I am happy with the quality for the price I paid.

Thu Nov 13 2008We have four boys ranging in age from 11 to 15. We purchased these scooters for each of them for their birthdays. The instructions for the brakes were quite minimal (written in China?) but after going into the garage and looking at the brakes on my bike, I was able to figure out how to assemble and adjust the brakes adequately. Other than that glitch, assembly was quite simple and straightforward. You don't need any special tools, just a few wrenches and a pair of pliers. I would also suggest that you make sure that the deck is secured since one of ours arrived with a loose deck (attached with phillips head screws). Our boys really love these scooters. They ride them in front of our home in our neighborhood and also at a local city park that does not allow skateboards, but does allow scooters. One of the BIG attractions for us was the big inflatable tires. We a... Read more

Mon Oct 20 2008Our drive way is gravel and we needed an "off" road scooter. My 5yr old loved this! The handle bars were a little high for him, he is average in height for his age, but over all a great fit for him. Better than razor with hard wheels...although we did get a flat. Still this is a great scooter.
