I think some of you who are giving her a bad rating are mixing Julie Gentry (née Oliver) from the first season (NY) up with Julie Stoffer from Real World New Orleans. One of you mentioned her getting into it with Coral on a Challenge---wrong Julie, people! Julie G. never did a Challenge and I doubt she will. Julie from New York is now back in her hometown of Birmingham, Alabama where she's married (for over a decade) with two kids. I have no clue if she's still involved in dance now or not. Last I heard she was teaching it. She was really one of the best castmembers to appear on any season of Real World. Sweet, likable, funny and down to earth.

The first woman to be assaulted by a self-righteous racist in reality TV. (Kevin, of course.) Beautiful, sexy, charismatic, genuine. For a full listing of all 84 female cast-members, with photos and extensive comments/details, go to http://rateyourmusic.com/~Prtopek. Check it out, you will definitely not regret it. The best overview of TRW's women on the internet.

I thought Julie was cool and sweet and stayed true to herself. When she got into it with that ugly chick (Coral) on 'Road Rules vs. Real World', I felt bad because Coral was so nasty and Julie held herself very well in comparison.

She was pretty cool. She's grown up quite a bit since then. She's married with children in Alabama.

The funniest thing that's ever happened, on this or any other Real World, was Gouda in the park with Heather! One of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life.

Awww, loved me some Julie from AL! Way to sweet and funny... very down to earth, or atleast thats what I gathered from her while she was on Tv. Very enjoyable.

Annoying whiner with an irritating nasal voice. Sounds worse than fingernails on a chalk board.

Of course the first cast was the BEST! That's a given 'cause they didn't know what it was gonna blow up to be! But I met Julie in person later through dance, and the coolest thing about her is that she honestly is the person she was in front of the cameras. Interested in just experiencing life and learning as much about everything, not worrying about what others might think of her questions and opinions, she just puts them out there. Go baby!

No time to mess around for this girl, but might be getting caught up in the whole want to help the homeless, but remember I eventually get to go back to my multi-million dollar loft

Julie was such a sweetie. Despite her inexperience, she didn't seem afraid of tackling new things. The only thing that perturbed me is that there was an extremely good-looking, super nice guy who was totally in love with her and she didn't act on it, despite mutual attraction... argh, how aggravating. would have made better tv if the sexual tension didn't lead to -nothing-.

She made me crack up and she was definitely REAL. She had that whole naivite thing going on and it was the best when the cast was gonna play a joke on Kevin and change their personalities. I loved it when she goes, "I get to be a whore." LOL, don;t forget her southern brawl when you say that!

New York was the best cast ever. Julie was the best of the New York cast. Enough said. By the way, I'm 35 and should be ashamed of myself for even being on this site.

I thought Julie was very sincere. Julie was the first sense of Real World on the show!! She definitely made a mark on influencing later cast shows on the true meaning of the show.

Julie was the best. Totally real! Of course, the first cast was the most real of all. Since then, they know what is going to be aired and the effect it will have on their lives.

Julie was one of the best people to be on any of the shows. Along with the rest of the original NY cast, the show was less tainted at the beginning - no expectaions of confrontations from the cast members. Julie was sweet, cute and I eally just hope the best for her. Sniffle sniffle.

What a cutie. She was on the first season and remains the most sincere, genuine person from any of the houses.

The only girl with a thick southern accent who I have ever found attractive. Some of the most interesting scenes ever in Real World were the brawls between Julie and Kevin.
