Thu Sep 10 2009I love this stuff!!! I have rosacea and nothing seemed to calm the redness around my nose and cheeks. This stuff does. I am so happy to finally find something that is awesome for sensitive skin and fights pimples at the same time.

Sun Jun 07 2009I'm 22. I've always had mild acne since I was about 15-16...but it didn't get bad until I was about 19-20. I've tried every over the counter acne medication, every prescription acne medication (other than Accutane)...nothing worked! At all! I bought the bar soap just because I had run out of what I used to use (Clean & Clear) and this stuff was on sale. After about 3 weeks of using it, my acne has improved more than I ever thought was possible!!! I still have a little break-out around my chin and jawline a little bit, but NOTHING like the way it was. I love this stuff!!!

Mon Apr 06 2009I've been using Purpose cleanser for a week, It works nothing on my face. My ance and redness still the same. Plus, it doesn't seem to remove dirt/oil from my pores at all. I am a little dissappointed right now, but i will just continue to finish this whole bottle. I might not purchase this shit anymore.

Tue May 13 2008Just purchased this for $4.77 in a 6 fl. oz. pump dispenser. It's the Gentle Cleansing Wash. This is "soap-free," hypoallergenic, won't clog pores and derm-recommended. Fabulous product! Lathers like crazy, you may only need half a pump. The scent is fresh and clean and not strong. This is soapless --- so you need not worry about harshness or buildup in the pores. A fabulous find that I wished I had known about years ago. This compares to my pricier cleanser from a cosmetic surgeon. I will now use this product. If you have rosacea, docs recommend not using soap - my friend does... and now I'm trying to get her to try this cleanser to see if it works better for her than her Clinique soap. Note: you will still need a separate eye makeup remover, as this is really not terrific at taking off eye makeup.

Mon Apr 21 2008I am a 20 year old college sophomore. I have had a problem area at the sides of my mouth. My hypothesis is that all of the oils and sweat migrates down to this area, collects, clogs my pores and gives me pimples. Well, not any more!! I love this stuff! I wash my face every night with it, dry my face thoroughly and am very satisfied with the results. My pimples and redness has gone down 80%, which is good enough for me. It doesn't dry out your skin like other products do. After you clean your face, it feels clean, not dry.

Fri Dec 28 2007I am an 12 year old girl and i just started using purpose today. When I washed my face I even noticed how most of the pain from my acne went away. I only have ance in the middle of my forehead but they are big and when they turn into blackheads it takes forver for them to go away. My mom told me that I schould use it atleast 2 times a day and that she used it when she was in high school and her face is very clear now.I think that in about 3-4 weeks from now my face will be completly clear from acne. They Price is very cheap too. U SHOULD TRY IT!!!

Wed May 23 2007Purpose is perfect for sensitive skin. I have a 9 month old baby and have been having problems with breakouts since she was born. I started using the purpose liquid soad a week and a half ago and already I see great improvement. Mild enough to use 3 times a day morning, after work and before bed..I love it.

Thu May 17 2007Great Product!!! Not to bad of a price either. One thing I will recommend is to get the bar soap and not the soap that comes in the pump version!! It does not lather at all. I also love the Purpose lotion. It is perfect to put on your face before you add your make-up. It also has sunblock in it so you won't have to worry about applying that. You should try it!

Fri Jan 12 2007I think this product is AMAZING!! I have tried just about every product that "claimed" it would reduce redness. NOTHING has ever worked as good as "Purpose-Redness Reducing Moisturizer". Within 3-5 minutes the redness on my face was almost completely gone. After applying a little make-up...you couldn't see any red....that's a FIRST for me.

Sun Aug 13 2006I've used Purpose for the past decade. Now I'm turning 30 and it doesn't seem to be working as well anymore. It used to work fabulous and took care of most of the acne, but I've been feeling disappointed this past year. I wonder if they changed the formula? I actually came to this website to find a different cleanser. I agree that this product was very good for many years, perhaps my needs have changed or the product has? Try it for yourself!

Wed Aug 18 2004I use the bar version of PURPOSE soap for my face. It was recommended to me by my dermatologist. It has no smell, no soap, no chemicals in it that could burn my face. Having a mild case of Rosacea, I definitely don't want anything nasty on my face. PURPOSE is perfect. It's a bit expensive compared to other bar soap, but it lasts a LONG time when only used on your face. It doesn't leave you feeling soapy after rinsing either. It's great. I'd recommend it to anyone with skin problems, or just to not feel soapy and icky after washing your face.

Mon Jul 26 2004THE BEST facial cleanser on the market bar none! I have used clenser MUCH more expensive such as Mary Kay, GM Collin & several other high end cleansers! This is simply better. Do not waste your money on fads!

Fri Jul 16 2004I finally found a cleanser (good price too) that gets my makeup off without drying out my skin. Not irritating at all, great if you have sensitive skin, or just blemish-prone and don't want a lot of extras they tend to put in cleansers.

Mon May 10 2004The cleanser has no smell, it doesn't sting your eyes, it has no soap in it so it doesn't dry your skin, its hypoallergenic, and its non comodogemic. Plus, my dermatologist recommended it to me and everyone she treats. Works great for everyone including those that use drying topicals like retin-a and tazorac or pills like accutane.
