Fri Jun 12 2009John Walsh has done a great thing he didn't let his son die in vain. He became a very dedicated crimefighter and advocate. He does what he can to bring closure to victims and their families and to capture those wanted and get them off the street and hopefully saving someone from living his pain.

Sat May 26 2007You have to give this guy credit, surviving the horrendous kidnapping/murder of his son and then dedicating his life to fighting crime and trying to make a difference in society. I don't know if I would have been capable of that. For that alone the man gets a five from me.

Sat May 21 2005His show may not have been great, but I have immense respect for this man. He endured the brutal death of his son, and yet he didn't let it destroy him. Instead he used his resources to help missing and exploited children. His efforts eventually led to the creation of the Missing Children Act of 1982 and the Missing Children's Assistance Act of 1984. He still continues to testify before Congress and state legislatures on crime, missing children and victims' rights issues. On top of all that he helped to launch the show Americas Most Wanted, which has helped catch countless criminals over the years. He's an amazing man.

Tue Dec 07 2004Not very unique or compelling, but hey, neither was the Sharon Osburne show.

Sun Nov 21 2004I agree with the person that said I like americas most wanted but not his own show. He seems like a real stand up person it just the format of his own show is so overdone and by so many fake people that I don't want to see it.

Wed Aug 04 2004Outstanding. America's Most Wanted is one of the most important shows on TV and his daytime talk show single-handedly brought back TONS of credibility to the genre. Which is probably why it was cancelled. As an actual host, he is just brilliant.

Fri Jul 23 2004Everyone should have a tremendous amount of respect for what he is doing. He lost his own son who was kidnapped and brutally murdered. He used a very tragic situation in his own life and a platform to prevent others and help others going through hearbreak. He has also had death threats due to what he is doing....10 stars...God Bless and keep up the work that actually has meaning in this world.

Mon Aug 04 2003This is a man that is not only out for vengence for his son but everyone that has been an inocent party in a crime. I think he is a great person and he deserves to make money and a great deal of peace of mind.
