Joe Morgan

Was Joe Morgan trying to get an endorsement deal with Kentucky Fried Chicken with his little wing flap that he did everytime he stepped in the box? Was it a nervous twitch? Did he have tourettes? Regardless, it was a unique ritual and I first became aware of it when I saw it profiled on The Baseball Bunch (one of my favorite shows from childhood), and when I was in elemntary school, I imitated Joe Morgan doing this couple of times when I batted when we played baseball during recess and it got some laughs from my classmates.

He get in the box, dig in, and then that back arm would start going like a chicken wing.
