Jesus, Buddha &Mohammad the question is who's the right one to follow? we have to open our minds and think think think deeply it's a big issue we need to stop at it ! after daying there'd be no way to ask the God (please let me come back to life and rectify my mistakes ,let me come back alive to Follow the right path the path of truth the path of Heaven) So we have to make sure of our paths and believes . I'll focus on Jesus and Muhammad may peace & blessings be upon them : Christianity considers Jesus as a God (beside the father and the Holy spirit) on the other hand Islam considers Jesus as a holy prophet & a Muslim wouldn't be a Muslim if he doesn't believe in Jesus and love him and Muslims deny that Jesus was crsified as Chritians believe . the question again : Who's the right one to follow ? in every debate btw a Chritian and a Muslim >>>Islam wins ! why ?why?why? 1-Chritians couldn't prove that Bible is the word of God 2-they couldn't prove that Jesus was Crucified 3... To:as1 The Roman Catholic Religion or anyone's word is not what you should base our Bible on. Read our Bible for yourself. I even tell Christians that! I have read your Quran, & there is no offer of Salvation or security unless Martyred. How cruel is that to require your own blood as a sacrifice to merit Heaven? Jesus was ours for free by faith in His work, not ours. I studied most every Religion and the only plan of Salvation comes from God through Christ Jesus! The Quran said Jesus was born of a Virgin which is a major truth and calls Isa (Jesus) a Prophet which we believe Jesus is Prophet, Priest and King. The Quran said Jesus called, Isa will come back again in the Clouds. This would be enough for me to RE-consider the other things as true written about Jesus in the Bible, or at least investigate the Christian (authentic)Bible in detail from cover to cover asking God to give you understanding. The Bible is revealed by the Holy Spirit only. All are blind and spiritually d... Read more

Clearly a LOT of strife could be avoided if we chose to replace the "VS." with an "&".

Jesus created everything. Budha I believe is a way to experience enlightenmnet. Well Jesus is the light of the world, I don't know how you can get more enlightened than that. Muhammad is supposedly God's prophet. If Jesus is God, Then Muhammad has the wrong God. Because God finished writing scripture to humankind 1800+ years ago. Of course that is just my opinion

Now this is interesting. There is a school of thought that says Jesus was influenced by Buddhism. According to this belief: There is a huge gap in the Bible from when Jesus was 12 to when he was 30. There has been much speculation about what he did in those 18 years. Some people believe that Jesus traveled the world and in his travels learned about Buddhism. That is why Jesus and Buddha taught many of the same things. It is an interesting theory, one I'm not quite convinced of, but interesting nonetheless. And of course, Mohammad, speaks of Jesus a lot. But Islam and Christianity split on a couple of important details. So maybe it's not Jesus VERSES Buddha and Mohammad, but rather Jesus AND Buddha and Mohammad

Looks like Jesus is doing some kind of handicap, two on one wrestling match in this one. My best guess is that Lmorovan will run in with a chair and chase off the other two.

UPDATE 4: Christians believe that we have a responsibility to go into all parts of the world and tell others about Christ. If a child does not know right from wrong then they are not held accountable for their sin. So, if someone has never heard then I believe they are not accountable. The Bible says that eventually every ear will hear, when that day comes all will have to make a choice to accept or reject Christ.  We all make choices, I have made mine, maybe you have made yours.  UPDATE 3: I really do not condemn anyone, call my words what you wish. If the Bible condemns, it is because of a decision the person made. We all make choices, people send themselves to hell. If other people don't believe in God or Jesus and choose another way, I believe they are lost. If you don't like or agree with me, fine... we will all answer one day for our choices in life. I will take my chances with God because I believe that he is the only way. This is what I believe. UPDATE 2: Look we all have opi... Read more

The monotheistic religions (Judaism, Islam and Christianity) leave a very little scope for any further growth because each one claims to be the absolute truth. The whole overcooked theory of creating the world in 6 days is enough to refute the Bible. Islam appeals the least because Muhammad was a cruel warrior. However, Jesus is more forgiving and hummanitarian but there is nothing mentioned about his love for life (animals, brids etc) unlike Buddha. Have an open mind and analyze and you will realize the depth in Buddha's teachings which lack in jesus and muhammad's teachings.

To compare is just silly. They are all different and none are the same. Buddhism is by works to gain enlightenment, you get NO conformations for enlightenment and you basically have to believe your own feeble emotions. Buddhism is just a little more than meditation, look into Chinese beliefs. (You maybe shocked about real Buddhism.) Mohamed is a man that had a vision and created a book that has contradiction after contradiction in it. It is also based around the Old Testament, with standards that have been erased by the New Testament. It's out-look seems very moral, but dig closer and you may find areas that sound very strange. Historically man has tried to disprove the Bible and Jesus, time and time again and have not been able to. They have looked for contradictions and basic facts about the time it was written and about Christ in general. (I.e. times, places, food, people etc.) But they have not been able disprove Jesus or the Bible. I challenge anyone, Try and disprove God, Jesu... Read more

As these three all issued from the same Egyptian roots, there is no difference; all religions are adapted and molded from prior examples to fit the perceived needs of particular sects within societies. Muhammad is the most recent of those listed, simply one of the middlemen employed by Islam's Allah (who, when columned side-by-side with the Hebraic Yahweh, are one and the same); Jesus was a mish-mosh of at least five (5) similar mythologies floating around the regions at the time; Buddha did nearly everything ascribed to Jesus, only his glorious adventures happened close to 600 years earlier; and they're ALL carbon-copies of the Egyptian Horus, whose origins go back over a millenium more than Buddha's. I find the "VS." insertion in the subheading interesting, and quite indicative of the "prize fight" mentality that's been carried out both passively and aggressively by theists throughout the ages. Fairy legends remain adequate ways of chaining one's days together, but the only times the... Read more

The differnce is evident firstly their doctrines contradict one another lets say if the christians believe that Jesus is the Son of God,and the buddhists believe a man became God after living a perfect life(and do not recognize Jesus),and the muslims believe Jesus is only a prophet I think there is a big gulf fixed between the beliefs lets say the number total 3 represents salvation and the addition represents doctrine and truth ;if the christians are claiming 2+1=3,and the buddists are claiming 2+2=3,and the muslims are claiming that 3+2=3 somebody is right and somebody is wrong!to even suggest these beliefs are the same is madness [a non-contradictory thought]meaning if there was a white wall and Ambrose saids it is white,Augustine saids it is black, and finally Plato saids it is red all would be right or all will be wrong utter nonsense!this defies logic and reason which elevates our dignity over plants and animals, tools which helps to bring us to the knowledge of what is truth and w... The difference is one was God (a supernatural being which came in the form of a human, and ascended back into Heaven again) and the other two are mere mortals. One teaches us that we get into Heaven by grace that He has earnt for us, so Heaven is a free gift. But the other two either focus on being a god to yourself and don't focus on eternity, or you have to work your way into Heaven with long and strict religious rules. I can really understand why PBeavr feels the way he does - thinks it is unfair how someone who is an overall good person is doomed just because they didn't follow Jesus. That can seem so unfair, and I know how that looks on the surface. God feels sorry for such people because He has a desire for ALL to be saved and go to Heaven. On the other hand, one side of the truth is that it is a choice that the person makes. God doesn't send people to hell, we do that. But secondly, it is because in actual fact, this may sound weird, but there is no truly good person on ... Read more

    HUGE DIFERENCE

How and why is this rated? Buddha was not a religious prophet of change- just a person who advocated personal enlightenment. Mohammed (according to Islam)was the prophet who spoke to God (Allah) around the 4th century (close?). Islam recognizes Christ as one of (but not the last) messengers of Allah. The god of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam come from the same god. Class dismissed.

All Three of them were teachers. They all tried to bring enlightenment and peace to their followers. The major differences are: 1)Buddhism is more of a Philosophy than a religion proper. 2)Neither Buddha or Mohammad claimed to be of divine origin. They both insisted even to followers who thought otherwise that they were mere mortals. 3)On the whole, Buddhists seem to be much more successful at practicing non-violence.

Jesus and Mohammed are both supposed prophets of the word of god. Buddha was a man who attained enlightenment vie right thought and the right way. buddha proclaims an internal religion of self, where the other two require you to follow their message leading toward an outward diety.
