I love the Cowboys, always have and always will. When some fans jumped ship becuase Jerry Jones bought the team and got rid of Tom Landry, I stayed. Sad excuse to stop cheering for your team. Anyhow, I think Terrell Owens is a great player and the best receiver in the game today. With that said, football is a team sport and there should be no room for individual accolades. Consider the number of professional basketball players who have tried to do it on there own for years only to realize that it takes a team effort to win a championship and they checked their egos at the door. T.O. has been around too long to not realize this. I understand his competitive nature but the cowboys need him to be a total teammate through the good times and the bad. The cowboys have too much potential to be the first football dynasty of the 21st century. As a person in the military (23 years), we cannot go into battle without having each others back irregardless of the situation or circumstance. We have a ... Read more

I have to be honest, despite my love of the Cowboys, I am lukewarm when it comes to Jerry Jones. He is a smart businessman but he also has made some poor decisions involving the team. He strikes me as someone who would stab you in the back if it benefitted him. Guys like him and Dan Snyder have hurt the game as much as they have helped it.

He's seen the team through some of it's toughest times and I want to thank him for making me proud to be a Cowboys fan and Texan. Changing paths for the team and leaving Tom Landry out to dry was probably the hardest thing he ever had to do and then the revolving coach choices he's had to deal with...not all great, but always in the best interest of the team and it's ultimate success! I actually teared up today when I saw the new stadium online...it just bursts with Cowboys, Texan, and American pride. I only wish I could be back in the States to enjoy it...maybe by '09 I'll be home from my work in/with our military overseas. Until then, I'll catch every game I can here on AFN (Armed Forces Network) and on the internet. I am sincerely proud to be a Cowboys fan, Texan and American. Thank you Jerry for your insightful management and Herculean efforts to always try to set us up for success...I still have my silver season mug on my desk to remind me of the lean years and keep me humble.... JERry be humble and get Jimmy Johnson as your head coach and bring back glory to the cowboys. Also Pete Carroll of USC is a good prospect. But mainly Jimmy is your best bet.

I am so honored to have Jerry Jones as the owner of the Cowboys. I am honored to have one of the best coaches in football as the Dallas Cowboys coach. Bill Parcells. The Cowboys fans are blessed! Marry Christmas Cowboys! Dallas Holms

Oh we do reap what we sow. Jerry decided to come to Dallas and buy OUR team and fire the 3rd ranked coaches of all time like he was a part time highschool kid in a drive through. You deserve everything you are getting now. If you think a millionaire can't be a BUM at the same time then just get to know this fool. To you blind supporters who worship him for the three superbowls remember he didn't do anything it was Johnson who made that team and left when Jones wanted all the credit. Well Jerry the credit is all yours now. ENJOY!!!! I know I am.

Other than the imfamous Hershel Walker trade with the Vikings that got the Cowboys several first and second round picks in the early 90's (and consequently three Super Bowl titles) name one positive thing he has done for the Cowboys.

Jerry Jones has made the hard decisions and financial risk that brought a reward of three Super Bowl Championships . . .and counting! For this a true Cowboy Fan should give respect and thanks. America loves winners (not whiners) that is why we are still AMERICA'S TEAM!!! Catch our spirit, feel our pride, we are the Dallas Cowboys!!

Bit of a maverick owner who cut his own uniform deal and made the NFL change it's policy of revenue sharing of NFL products. Cowboys havent been good in awhile and you gotta blame him.

Stay off the sidelines and let the coaches coach. Build a new stadium for the Cowboys with your own money. And finally, we will never ever forgive you for the way you got rid of Tom Landry.
