A little nutty, and a loose cannon for the purposes of presidential politics.  But most everything he said was taken out of context, and he has done enormously good work for the South Side of Chicago in terms of the community.

If you know anything about African-Americans, a sizeable percentage of them believes as does this guy.  Don't write him off as a kook, because he touches a deep-seated alienation.I don't think he represents a majority view in all issues in the Black Church, but on some he does.I would think that Barack Hussein shares some of his beliefs.

If elected, President Obama would feel Wright's wrath, too, the minister warned. "I said to Barack Obama last year, 'If you get elected...I'm coming after you, because you'll be representing a government whose policies grind under people,'" Wright said

This guy is more of an activist than an evangelist! He is a black nationalist and I have a notion to believe reports that he was a former Muslim. Afterall, one of his good buddies is Louis Farrakhan.

Wow, this guy is not fading gracefully into the background.  He seems to be determined to be a major player in the 2008 election - if only to sabotage the campaign of what would be the first African American President.  What an astounding failure to grasp the big picture... If I were Obama I would be seriously pissed off at this clown.

A paranoid and selfish buffoon who is  not only making it about him, and hurting Obama's chances but serving as one of the people who could very well help McCain win the nomination, which means by the time we finally get out of this fiasco in Iraq in about 2,000 years,, whoever's left will be chased by apes, get away from them, and then find the half sunk Statue of Liberty on a beach... I  have more respect for the albino comedian that Martin Short used to play called Jackie Rogers Junior than Jeremiah Wright Junior.

Is he trying to hurt Obama's chances to win the Democratic nomination?  Because, if he was, he'd be acting exactly like he is acting.

All I can say about this guy is WOW!  I, like Numbah, saw some of his videos on Youtube ~ again, like numbah, thanks to the Obama connection.  I have never heard such blatant hate and racism come out of a "preachers" mouth.  And then, being the man of God that he is, turn around and say GD America, GD the white people, and a few other GDs thrown in for good measure.  This is a repulsive man who isn't worth one star ~ he may think that I am a member of the KKKA that he so likes to talk about.

He's been Barack Obama spiritual mentor for about 20 years. Obama knew Rev.Wright might be a liability months ago and took steps to distance himself from his America hating paster. Obama says he was unaware of the more extreme statements until he began his presidential campaign.WHAT! In twenty years he never noticed any anti-American rhetoric preached by Wright?! The spin makes no sense. This is another example of Obama trying to serve up more lies. How long will the ignorant voter will remain indifferent?

I also think Jeremiah A.Wright is a big time RACIST !!! and I am a Black Man,Every RACE & Color and Nationality suffered someway or somewhere in life, that was part of life then,It's time to get over the past.......and start living the future, and Grow up already.I think Black people are the most RACIST of all people, they need to wake up and smell the coffee, and start being productive citizens, instead of asking for help all the time and living off of the government, and blaming the White folks for there Lazyness and problems, just like Bill Cosby said, get off of your dead Asses and start being people !!! I am voting for McCain,he has the experiance to be President and Knowledge,I beleive Obama has been going to this church for 20 years,he listen to this Wright preach,so I beleive he thinks the same way, otherwise Obama would have left this Church after hearing this Preacher preach after 1 Sunday service,so he listen to this for 20 years,he is the same,I beleive,a RASIST in hiding.God Bless ... This worthless piece of crap shouldn't be in this country. His gown should be ripped off and thrown in the trash. This guy is a total discrace to the black man. I can't believe he has any followers. The only thing wrong with the black race is the black people who screw it up for the rest of them. What a joke.

So I looked him up on youtube thanks to the little Obama story I saw on the news and I am a bit concerned that the message of Jesus' love can be twisted the way he twists it. The message of Jesus should be used to unify people, not divide them. Its not about political agendas or outrageous social commentaries, dude.UPDATE: I almost forgot to give a free sample...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdJB-qkfUHc

While I can agree that he does speak the truth about the social ills in our society, I can not say that he is a true man of God given his very vehement and public support of the homosexual agenda. Dr. Wright is a very engaging speaker; however, talent is not enough in the kingdom of God. Our God requires obedience and holiness. The fact that Jeremiah Wright embraces homosexuality when the Bible clearly shows it as an abomination before the most Holy God, makes me question not only his salvation, but his sexuality.
