Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't know anything about foxand hound, but I have been a listener of Franklin Jentzen for years. If hearing the truth preached from the Bible offends you, you can ask forgiveness and God will forgive you. This Pastor loves people and souls like no other I have listened to. Because God has blessed his work he's too big for his britches? Any time someone is doing a good work, there's always the critics who try to find fault. What good do the critics do to help people? Do they give them hope? Do they build their confindence? Do they tell people that someone loves them, and wants them no matter what condition they are in or regardless of what they have done? I don't think so. I'm not saying all Evangelists are what they should be, but who is? Let he that is without sin cast the first stone. Amen [email protected]

Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. John 8:7 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone. Pastor Franklin is a human being, not perfect but a man of God and deserves respect.

Pastors are just human and he knows it. The reason I am reading these reviews, is to make sure at least some of my tithe money goes to a good cause and I know he preaches the word of God. I hear the good results of his preaching, but what about the mission work? Any help would be appreciated.

it is hard now and in the past to trust in any evangelist but if your a follower of Jesus Christ you should be able to tell whats true about the bible teachings because all christians should be familiar with what is written in the bible.if you dont trust in what someone is doing with your offerings than you, yourself, should get up and feed the hungry you, yourself, should spread the good news and you, yourself, should help the helpless you, yourself should visit the sick and inprisoned. i'm not triying to be sarcastic or judgemental and i definetly understand peoples discerning additude toward tv evanelist because i believe that at least 95% of them are hipocrits.(benny hinn)but you can take some of what they're preacing(the truth) and use it.i believe that a true preacher of God should'nt be wealthy they shouldnt have an abundance of anything at least until ALL people have something .starving, poverty, pestelence, homeless, abuse, until these dont exisit then nobody should be( well-off... Be careful not to give God's glory to a man. God deserves all the Glory. Follow God not the man. To much of "what the man has done, and being blessed of the man". Its God who blesses you, through the man. Remember he is just the vessel from which God flows through. God used a harlot, a donkey, a murderer, a prostitute, a pagan, a deceiver, a persecutor, a chief sinner of sinner's, a rebel, get the ideal? To God Be All The Glory For The Great Things He Hath Done.

I saw Mr. Franklin, his wife and at least three of his kids flying first class on a flight to LA last year. I couldn't help wonder why he was paying so much for those tickets. I'm sure he helps people with his strong message, but he should be flying economy. I worry his new fame might hurt his message. Please pray he will be strong! God needs strong voices like him, but fame and ego can destroy the mightiest warriors for God.

Jentezen Franklin is an anointed man of God. He preaches BIBLE which is rare in preachers today. Most are afraid to preach "sin" but he is not. Thank God for men who tell the truth! It is really funny to me how people like to jump on the band wagon and freak out when preachers or evangelists ask for offerings or preach about tithes etc. Dont they know by giving we are opening ourselves up for Gods blessing? Its in the Bible if anyone would bother to read it. God doesn't "need" our money to get the gospel out that is true...however we need to "give" so that we may be blessed. People do not hesitate to make hollywood entertainers rich who contribute to the fall of our children and help to drag down our society but will throw a fit if a Preacher writes a book and sells it. or asks for donations to keep thier program on the air so they can keep preaching the Word of God. No people are to busy keeping trash on the air like thier reality shows etc. Get over it! Get your priorities straight ... Read more

I grew up with Jentezen Franklin. I was good friends with his sister and our parents were friends. He is the real deal, just as his father, the late Billy Franklin. I know he was raised right, and I believe he is in constant communion with our Heavenly Father. I cannot believe people accuse him of trying to be famous for expanding his ministry!! Yes ! THere are lots of people in North Ga who are lost, but the lost are not limited to North GA. I am not angry that he moved away from our home state of North Carolina! He goes where God leads and I would never even consider judging someone for that. God Bless!

False teacher. He is a false teacher because he uses Israel's blessing under the law as for us today in the age of grace. You as a gentile were never and never will be under the covenant that God made with His chosen people. They were under the law. Paul, the apostle of the gentiles tells you that you are not under the law but under grace. There is NOW no difference between Jew and gentile. All are under sin and in need of a savior. Israel was blessed when they obeyed and cursed when they didn't obey. They were under the mosaic law. Today we are in the dispensation of grace and are blessed with all SPIRITUAL blessings. Total different program today. Just as in the name of his show, Kingdom Connection. Jesus came to give his chosen people a kingdom and a King. They crucified Him. We are not waiting on a kingdom ruled by twelve tribes but we are going to meet Him in the air and be with Him in heaven and we will be joint heirs. Total difference. Rightly divide the word of truth. He wro... Read more

I am originally from Gainesville and remember when Free Chapel was very small. Since Pastor Franklin came to Free Chapel, it has thrived. I would be very afraid to criticize or judge Pastor Franklin (or any pastor that that matter) because he is God's man and it's evident when you look at this church. You'd better be careful what you say about God's man. God has given him talents to write (every book is really good), sing, play his sax and preach some pretty powerful messages. There is no way that God does not have his hand on Jentezen Franklin. I have attended Free Chapel's productions, special events and occasional services when I'm visiting family--even though I am Baptist and have fundamental doctrinal differences with Free Chapel. I can tell you this, however. I am a very strong Christian and cemented in my faith. The Spirit of God is in that place and you feel it as soon as you enter into the building. There are ministries for every age group and interest. The chur... Read more

I watched a few videos and have thought about visiting Free Chapel. Im a member of another church in the area. I find it strange that Jentezen Franklin has started a church in CA when there are so many lost people right here in North GA. There must be a lot of additional cost involved with distance. Im not saying its wrong but if anyone wants to commit or explain how to justify it I would be thankful. To me is SEEMS that a pastor that has a church on the west coast and east is not only expanding his ministry but trying to become famous at the same time, I'm not syaing thats so but it makes me feel that way. Can anyone tell me how much money is spent in the airfair, hotel or living quarters, meals transportation, how many travel each time that the church pays for , the total cost, of each trip back and forth. Is it unfair for me to know these things if I were a member and tithe my money at Free Chapel. Please commit Rick Warren is already working hard in CA and many others. My persona... Read more

Let us who have believed on Jesus as our Lord and Savior remember whats most important...the good news that God sent his only begotten son Jesus to take upon himself the sins of those chosen from the beginning of time the be saved, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, exhausted God's wrath that we might not have to experience it for eternity, He imputed His righteousness upon us that we would be seen as righteous in Gods eyes, and rose again that death would be defeated we would have eternal life with Him in Glory! If preaching does not revolve around Christ and the life we called to live according to the Bible in Him, then there's something terribly wrong going on. I went to free chapel from '93-'06 the emphasizes on paying tithes that God would bless me...30, 60, or 100 fold. I remember him saying things at an alter call like, quoting form the Bible, "if you dont acknowledge me before man, i will not acknowledge you before my Father who is in Heaven!" implying t... When i listened to Pastor Jentezen Franklin for the first time on TBN, i heard the word in a whole new dimension. I listened quietly as he unleashed rev after rev when he was preaching the message about Jacob and Esau. I screamed and screamed when i caught the revelation behind what he was saying and my friends thought i was mad but i didn't blame them because i knew they could never ever understand what i caught. Since then, i fell in love with his teaching and now, when i carry my bible, i don't just study anymore i 'EAT' the word. God bless him real good. Funmi Adeleye from Nigeria.

I am a newcomer to FCWC. Pastor Jentezen's preaching surpasses phenomenal. His illustrated sermons set the ambiance for the worship service on most occasions. In addition to setting the ambiance, the illustrated sermons tie the text or theme to provide originality to scripture like you have never seen or heard before. Pastor Jentezen create conditions in ministry that foster flawless, creativity. Pastor Jentezen typically provides amusing moments which never lose the content of the message. In addition, he consistently win others to Christ by compelling men to receive Jesus at the close of the sermon. Mary P.

I have grown in my walk with the Lord listening to him on tv and reading his books. And the musical talent at this church is so awesome- what a blessing!Moving Forward is a great great CD!! Everyone should have it in their collection.

I've been a member of FCWC in Gainesville for 14 years. Over those years I have been priviledged to get to know Pastor Franklin personally. He married my husband and me, he performed my Dad's funeral yet had never met him, and when my brother-in-law died he performed the memorial service. I still remember him calling me at home after hearing about the death of my b-i-l and his words were "what can I do to help?" Let me assure all of the critics out there that Jentezen is the "real thing!" Is he perfect? No, he's human; a man of God made up of flesh and blood. He has his everyday struggles just like you and me. He has a large family and they have the same issues to deal with just like you and me. Jentezen is an anointed man of God. In person he is very humble. He believes what he preaches. We are so blessed to have such a great man of God to teach us the word of God. To God be the glory!!!

His 21 days of fasting every January has become one of his obsession. Fasting is indeed taught in the Bible, but when it is used to manipulate the masses it becomes an istrument of manipulation. Perhaps more Bible and less Jentezen might be advisable and useful. His association with other questionable "evangelists" is another point to his detriment. It's not easy to escape the "feel good" without being good preaching, it's so popular and rewarding.

Every message that Pastor Franklin presents gives me more comfort and encouragement. I believe that he speaks the truth and his intentions are to help others and save as many as possible for the Kingdom of God. Occasionally he does ask for finances to further his purpose (to serve the Almighty). It does cost money to get to all the nations. I have not heard him speak anything that contradicts the Word of God. We are to weigh every message against the Bible and not to accept anything contrary to its teaching. Praise God for Pastor Franklin, he has and will change many lives with his simple and profound teaching.

Why is it that a Sinful man can be wealthy and have nice things, but a G0DLY man like PJF can't. My God owns everything and blesses who He wishes and who am I or anyone else to question that. PJF is probably one of the most humble men I've had the pleasure to meet, and I gladly tithe to FC and proudly claim him as my Pastor.

I used to think he was shady, but now I know otherwise. God led me to fasting then led me directly to Jentezen and his teaching to help guide me in my fast. It would seem coincidental to an unbeliever, but this was no coincidence. There is not doubt in my mind that the Good Lord is using Jentezen along with many other great people of God, to raise the church up. I too coil sometimes at some money raising efforts(ref: Robert Tilton), but we are not to muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn either. I read Nehemiah today, and it's clearly scriptural and mandatory for the community of believers to provide for the leaders & workers of the church. It's a shame they have to beg or sell things in order to prosper & grow. It's not their fault, it's ours because we don't cheerfully give without expecting anything in return.

I love this man, he is a great man of G-d. You can see it and feel the Spirit of the Lord when he speaks. Because of the humbleness and Spiritual maturity that has express through his vision and his way of talking about the Lord and fasting which I am big on and he talks about it a lot. I pray G-d continues to bless him and open His way to do the things that others could not do, it's not to go and bring people to Christ, it's to be like Christ and draw all men to the Father. I believe the ministry is way OFF, everybody wants to go to the mainstream, to the media, have big churches and say I am bringing people to G-d. G-d does not need us to bring people to him, what He ask is for us to be like the Son and all men will be drawn to us. No, I am not against going to Africa or third world country to help or if someone is in need to help, all I am saying is the life of Jesus Christ should be so profound in us that People we come in contact with on a daily basis should be able to detec... Hello Brothers and Sisters I would also like to add to the good things the Lord has done in my life through Pastor Jentezen Franklin. First and foremost I would like to give God all the Glory for what he has done for me in my life. I remember going through a ruff time in my life and I too was watching one of his powerful preachings it was like he knew what I was going through but God knew I need to hear what Pastor had to say that late night. You see God is so good that in his word he promises us that we will never go through something we can not handle. Well that day just happen to be the last straw where I felt like I was done with I had hit rock bottom. But Glory to God and his Mercy he lifted me up and put me on my feet and said son I am here do not worry for I will never let you go. I want to share this with you because he says we should share our testimony so that others may be blessed and so that he can get all the Glory and Victory, Amen! There is no such thing as a generational curse for the believer in Christ Jesus. Our Bible says that Jesus has set us free from the law of sin and death. Hebrews 2:14-15 says "that through death he [Jesus] might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;" Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Jentezen Franklin is man who practices what he preaches, in all areas of his life. I have known him and his family for years, and they are the real deal. He loves his family more than his ministry. He has a true burden for those who don't know Jesus, either through salvation or in a deeper relationship, ie, "...that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings..."  Phil 3:10.  This is the guy that leads his 5000 member church on a 21 day FAST every January!!! He has been doing these fasts since high school, and credits that discipline, more than anything else, as being the source of God's blessing on his ministry.
