Acts a little funny. You know. I guess he is alright.  Earnhardt, Johnson, and Gordon on the same team. UNSTOPABLE TEAM!

Trust me, as a 3 and an 8 fan, I was really hesitant about giving him five stars but he (along with Earnhardt) has pulled a lot of strings to make this sport as mainstream as it has these days compared to 20 years ago when people hailed it as a redneck sport that was started by a bunch of moonshiners. Plus, he's in his early 30's and has already 72 wins?!? Jeez, that's unheard of, but still Petty has nothing to worry about with his big 200-win record. Gordon averages only 3-4 wins a season compared to 6 years ago when he was winning 7-9. It will take him to at least 70 years old to even come close to Petty's record, and no one hangs around that long unless your Morgan Shepherd and his not competitive, anyway. I wish Gordon luck....begrudgingly.

Spins other drivers out for points and track position. If Nascar has a heel it is Gordie. (numbah spins Jeffy out)

I am not ready to put him ahead of Petty yet, but he has 72 or 73 wins and is still in his 30's.He might be the best before all is said and done.

Of all time!!??? Dude has a car owner that can throw a lot of cash around, that helps more than anyone knows. The older generation had to win with little money.

Though I consider driving a stock car at 200 MPH a great feat of athleticism (a race car driver's pulse can hit 200), NASCAR never did anything for me. But if I had to pick my 3 favorite stock car drivers, #1 would be The King; #2 Jeff Gordon; and #3 Little Joe Weatherly (though he died in the early 60's, his widow lived a few doors away from me when I lived in Norfolk. Every year, a new Cadillac would show up in her driveway). I like Gordon because he is a northern Yank, just like me. He is a also a very gutsy driver who has an incredible record. He is vilified just because he is not a good ol' boy and he doesn't wear a belt buckle bigger than his head. People actually wish fiery crash upon him. I remember someone had an e-mail address called JGIAF. What's that, I asked. Jeff Gordon is a F-g His wife went by ITAJIAF (I too agree Jeff Gordon is a F-G).

I started watching Jeff Gordon in sprint racing and would not be a NASCAR fan if not for him. I certainly don't fit the former profile for a fan.

The numbers say it all. Jeff Gordon is the man. Let's remind all of the Dick (oops) Dale Jr. Fans, when Jeff was his age, he already won over 65 races and 4 championships, what has Jr. Done...NOTHING. Forever 24 :-)

Listen all u dumb Earnhardt fans ! JEFF GORDON has 68 cup win a 4 time champion AND IS ONLY 32 He has at least 10 years left in his career, also he doesnt have a ego as big as some redneck who crashed in a wall at daytona and died cause he was racing dirty like he did his entire career-we wont say any names Now look at dale jr. hes 29 12 wins and never won a championchip NOW HE IS OVER RATED comepared to earnhardt sr. jeff gordon is the cleanse driver todate (also bobby labonte but thats besides the point) Ernhardt sr. was a dirty cheap , Ernhardt jr. is over rated, and JEFF GORDON is the greatest current driver and in ten years will be the greatest!!!!! P.s. Petty is 10 times better than ernhardt was!

Just look at his numbers. No driver has done what he has done in such a short period of time. He will only get better. He is at that age where he is young enough to be competitive and old enough to know better. So keep hating him it only makes it sweater when he wins.

i will admit that gordon has driving skill (when he ain't cheating and crashing people). but other than that. he is the biggest efemminet crybaby is NASCAR history and he is the reason for other spoiled crybaby brats in the sport.

Jeff Gordon will never be my favorite race car driver, and I will never look up to him as a role model. But I would never deny how talented he is on that race track. He is an excellent NASCAR driver, and the record proves it. Just not my favorite is all...

Jeff is the man when it comes to current drivers in Nascar. Most Nascar fans either love him or they hate him. When Jeff is on he is on and he is very consistent. Yeah people think that he is a whiner at times but he's a very honest person and says it like it is. He should easely pass Dale Sr. in total wins but will have a tuff time getting 3 more championships to tie Dale. The battles that Jeff and Dale had were great ones too. In my book Jeff is the 3rd greatest driver of all time being Dale Sr. is 2nd and Richard Petty in 1st.

A true nascar fan should be able to give drivers their proper dues. LOve him or hate him, Jeff has shown that he is truly a wonderful driver. For example: I didn't pull for dale sr. but i will be the first to tell you that he was the one to put nascar on the map..i may not have pulled for him on sunday but i had respect for him and his driving. Jeff is due respect despite his "whining" or whatever because if you look at the stats and the numbers he has passed most drivers in every catagory. This says a lot about his ability! I'll leave ya with one stat though, Jeff gordon ( 31 years old ) has earned more money ( a couple million ) more than any other racer EVER!!!!

Yeah, he's only been racing for 10 years and is already forty shy of 100 career victories (only 16 shy of Earnhardt) but as far as his ego and his attitude, he can shove it up his DuPont tailpipe.

Has talent but is so far from being a real driver capable of making his own decisions, accepting his own losses. His constant whining and his need to be calmed down and pumped up by his crew chief are disgusting. He also has not even begun to pay his dues in the racing world!
