If I were to get an SUV, this would be the one to get. They are great for getting off road and Tooling around in. Not a fan of the Gas Mileage, but for an SUV it ain't bad. I've never been owned by one, but I've ridden in them hundreds of times and Driven one a few times. They seem like a lot of fun. But honestly, I'd probably have a bit too much fun in them. Maybe I better settle for my boring sedan.

Wow cool. I wonder if it tips easily. Would be cool to drag it out in the mud or sand see how it rides.

I love my 08 Wrangler.  It is so much FUN!  I am wondering why it took me so long to discover the Wrangler!!!!  It is built well and is my daily driver.  Driving is fun again!

I have owned a jeep but never again. They suffer from too much jeepitus.

I love the Wranglers. I went to Kauai by myself a few years ago and rented one of these and had an incredible amount of fun cruising all over the island with surf board in toe. Drove it on the beach, drove it in the mud, and drove it on the road. It's a bit of a rough drive, but I'll take the tradeoff for the open air factor any day.

Good off road vehicles but they are rough and loud for street cars. They also are too light for utility work.

I had the following cars VW fox, Nissan PU, Isuzu Amigo, Mercedes Benz 420, VW Jetta, Jeep Wrangler YJ #1, Jeep CJ, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Jeep G Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler #2. There is one reason why 5 out of ten cars I had were jeeps and specially the Wrangler and the CJ are the best 4x4 ever had, reliable, great looking, easy to work on, upgradeability and believe me SAFETY ( got rear ended by minivan in Big bear, bent bumperette for me ( Cast iron) totalled car front damage on the van ( aluminum + plastic)I went off roading and Baja crossing on them, even when the tech out here did not screw properly the gear plug and fell in the middle of the desert leaving me with no gear oil in the box, I only had to take down the crown from the box, switched to 4x4 and drove with the front wheels back to the US (400 miles dirt+paved road) and then 7 more months until I fixed it ( kept on running..) for as long as I have a car and a pain free back I will always have a wrangler ( or CJ)Victor

just bought an '04 wrangler TJ with 20k on it.  It's an automatic, (i know, don't shun me... it was available and a good deal) 4.0 straight six.  gas mileage isn't wonderful, but it's not like a full-size truck. the turning radius on a wrangler is simply amazing. i bet i could turn it around on top of my kitchen table. there's no feeling in the world like driving with the doors off, and it's surprisingly quiet when the soft top's up. speakers suck, but i'm workin that... and i drove it for 3 hours yesterday with the top down, so now my forehead is bright red and a little tender. other than that, no complaints at all. a gem of a vehicle.

Ive got a 94 wrangler, with a 5speed and a 2.5 4 cl. I love it, but I got this nagging problem that just started today. When I try to turn the ignition off, it wont turn. Its locked in place. The unlock lever moves, but wont move enough to unlock it. I gotta stall it out to turn it off. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

I love my '95 Jeep Wrangler.  I think it gets pretty good gas mileage and gets me where need to go.

I own a 98 Jeep Wrangler Tj i love it im an offroad guy i bought this thing with 50,000 miles on it ive taken it to extremes and the thing still comes out lookin great ive driven quite alot of trucks and suvs and nothing compares to the jeeps manuvarability and its persitance to keep goin if you like offroading but dont want to spend extra money for aftermarket parts get a jeep wrangler 31" tires and four wheel drive you will be goin everywhere

bought my 2000 sahara new. It has 78,000 miles. I change the oil every 3000 with synthetic oil. It is affordable if you do it yourself and very easy on this jeep. I have changed the belts and have had to replace the wiper motor. No other problems. I have never changed the plugs or wires and it still runs perfect. Mine is a manual transmission. It is great off road and around town. It is a jeep so going over 70 mph on the highway is not fun. I can't complain. This has been a good reliable low maintenance vehicle since I bought it with 2 miles. The wrangler also seems to hold a good amount of value and demand if it has been well cared for.

I love my 2000 Tj Jeep Wrangler. I have owned many cars and trucks but this is my favorite. Its small enough to park anywhere but its big enough to get respect from the other cars on the road. Snow ,rain, mud ,sun ,onroad offroad or whatever my Jeep gets me there. If youre looking for luxury look away but if you want realworld transportation Jeep rules .Make sure you get a hardtop and a 6 cyl engine and the auto transmission . Dont get real offroad tires for street (they make lots of noise) .Insurance is cheap , repairs are cheap (huge aftermarket supplies too ) ,gas mileage aint bad for a 4x4 and it never goes out of style. I bought mine new in 2000 and when its time Im getting another one.

Gotta love mud machines. I have an 84 CJ 7. I will argue till i die that jeeps are the best, yes BEST 4x4's on the planet. with 6 inches of lift and 38's...lockers and gears, i will take anyone on that wants to go muddin'!

I have had four Jeeps. The first was a Cherokee with a strait 6. We put 180,000 on it without any...i repeat...any problems. The 93 wrangler we have now also has the strait 6. I expect it to run for forever. It has power to burn and is just plain fun.

I am a third generation rock-crawling 4-wheeler and can say that the Jeep Wrangler's are, with out a shadow of a doubt, the best four wheel drive out in the market.

I have a 94 jeep Wrangler. I drive it everyday and it is very fun to drive. You feel everybump in the road. and it gets 16 mpg on the high way and 14 in the city. 4 wheel drive works like a charm up here in alaska. You can get so many assecories for jeep and what not. I just bought a 3'' lift kit and big tires. its fast and gets up to speed quick. I haven't rolled it yet doing high speed manuovers i think all that crap is BS. I have a hard top on it right now. Its still very noisy but i just turn the music up. It only has about 94 thousand miles i bought it when it had 90 thousand. no problems yet with it. its a 6 cylender 4.0 liter automatic. my buddy's call it the Joop cause the last owner must of hammered in the e's on the side to make them o's. lol that a fun feture of it. I am on my third Jeep, and I LOVE EM' ALL. If you like the ride of a BMW, buy a BMW otherwise if you want the only 'true' American sports car(as quoted by Enzo Ferrari, yes that Ferrari) buy a Jeep. Best offroading vehicle made. The early land rovers were built on Jeep chasis. Imitation is the best form of flattery.

The Wrangler really is aging. It have very good power, is great off road, and gets good gas mileage for an SUV. Still, there tiny, not much room for cargo room, can be expensive for those bigger engines, and has been very unreliable. Shop somewhere else.

This is an OFF ROAD VEHICLE and it outperforms every other vehicle in its class. You sure don't want it to take the little lady to the opera in. It rides nice but, the suspension is meant for rough terrain. I retired and bought a 5 speed 4.0 six for a second car. My wife and I have taken it places that we could never take a regular passenger car. When used for it's intended purpose it is the best on the market.

I bought my '98 Wrangler new and it has never given me a problem- never broke down once! I've had plenty tire changes, but that's because I drive it as it was meant to be driven! All I've needed besides new tires is regular oil changes and a new steering damper (75 bucks). She's never let me down- I'll keep her til she dies, then get another one. If you cant handle a few bumps and some noise, you shouldn't be looking at Jeeps in the 1st place!

I don't own a Jeep but have driven them often ("Jeeping" is a popular summer activity in the Rockies). It is still the best off-road vehicle; it can go anywhere. Also good in bad weather. Now the bad part: on-road it is bumpy, noisy, and uncomfortable. The seats are not very supportive, the brakes are only adequate, and the engine is geared low, so any kind of sporty driving is impossible. And of course, the Jeep is top-heavy; don't try any rapid maneuevers or you will roll over. All that said, I still have a fondness for the Wrangler. It has a rugged quality that makes me want to head for the mountains. And it's a convertible (always an advantage)! As an off-roader or a short-distance highway commuter, I love it. But I wouldn't want to drive one everyday, especially on long interstate journeys. To own one as an only car, you either need to be young or very tolerant. For anyone else, this a specialty vehicle, not an everyday commuter.

Very reliable and the best for off-roading.

I had a 94 jeep wrangler and loved it. Had over 100,000 miles on it. I just bought a 2001. What a piece of junk. It's been in the shop twice now. I love jeeps but I got a lemon this time. I get about 13 miles on the highway and it leaks something in the rear wheel. Chrysler is a sorry name for a company. They sure do look good though. Wish I could share more with you, but won't because of space.

Best vehicle we've ever owned. Highly reliable, even though we 4 wheel with it regularly. We have 84,000 miles on it and still love it, we'd buy another in a minute.

I have a Jeep Wrangler. my first and my last...It has been dependable, but it rides like a truck, its loud and with the short wheel-base not the safest vehicle to be driving around corners.

I have had my new Wrangle Sport for 60 days now and it has been all I expected and more.

Average vehicles regarding quality control...but we jeepers already knew that! Nothing like a Jeep in heavy rain and snow...I drove mine through a hurricane while less capable vehicles wallowed and died in the road next to me.

Great college car- you get the best of both worlds; convertible if you want it & 4 wheel drive- it can go anywhere.

The tried and true. Second to only the Hummer.

They always break down and the brakes suck.

I drive a Wrangler and I have never had a problem with it. It is a good car for Miami.

Awesome SUV, gives a man the rugged look and feel; Women alway want that type of man in this SUV.
