I shop online for almost everything. I don't know why JC Penney's charges 26% shipping!! It is ridiculous! And any free shipping coupon codes you find online are of course for anything over $69 or higher. Then you pay taxes on top of that. Any sale is NOT a bargain with such outrageous shipping charges. I stopped ordering from them because of that. I can get the same quality merchandise from many other places online with a reasonable shipping charge. They obviously don't want online shoppers.

NEVER buy furniture from JCPENNEY!!! I ordered a chair and ottoman from them in March. The first chair I received was broken, but I didn't discover it until after the delivery men left. Thought, oh well, I'll order another one. Ordered a second chair, the fabric was ripped. Ok, I'll try a third time (I really liked the fabric and it was cheap - big clue). JCP said they will special pack the third chair. Received the third chair, it was the most broken and worst packed of all three. So now it's May and I have my first broken chair and an ottoman. Jump up to July. The chair and ottoman were finally picked up two weeks ago because I had to keep calling the trucking company because JCP did nothing, and I am still waiting for credit on the ottoman!!!! Take my warning, DO NOT EVERY BUY FURNITURE FROM JCP. If the price is really cheap, then the merchandise is cheap too and JCP doesn't do a good job shipping.

It's easy to use, but there aren't enough graphics.

This website is alright. They offer the same items that are in their stores. When I went to "women's clothing" they have a really cool feature you can make a model that looks somewhat like you and you can see what the clothes would look like. I haven't ordered anything from it but my model makes me go back to look.

I like the convenience of ordering online and the prompt delivery service. If you are sending it somewhere different they don't give you any additional charges.

The most innovative of the old school retailers - at least in their management of their Web business. With features like auctions, My Virtual Model (which allows you to see what clothes look like being worn), and a clean, intuitive Web site, JCPenney.com is making a name for itself in the online world.

I have had really good luck with JCPenney.com. Items are easy to find, if you have the item # from the catolog, or just the name can be entered into their "search" and easily accessed. Ordering is simple, fast and easy.

All of the shopping websites are too slow without a cable modem, thus getting around the website stinks, even with a 56k.

Though I was almost always happy with merchandise purchased from JCPenney, I stopped shopping there when the company made a big deal of not sponsoring the Ellen DeGeneris show several years ago because of her life choices. I cannot support companies that advocate bigotry. Last week, however, I was forced to shop Penney's Gift Registry for a wedding gift. I ordered online and ordered gift wrapping and a special card. The problem occurred at confirmation when I suspected the wrapping and card had not been included. I notified the company immediately but could not receive satisfaction. As a result, my gift will arrive at bride's house, unwrapped. And chances are, she won't even know who gift is from. Since these are people we do not know well, the problem is a big one for us. I can get no satisfaction from Penneys. So my boycott continues ... for more reasons than one now. .
