I have been meaning to write, but with the holidays, time got away from me. Your new studio is beautilful. I was PLEASANTLY suprised with your new prices when I called to make my appointment in November. You are so easy to work with and always get my kids to listen (sometimes better than I can) and look great in the pics. Love the new "viewing room" and the new packages helped me get all the pics I wanted. Are you doing any specials for Valentine's Day? Hubby deserves a new pic. Thanks for making it painless to have family portraits done.

I'm not sure what studio Mercedes called for information, but it wasn't Jaffe Studio. Our senior packages start at $299. Unless you're giving everybody in the family a 16x20 portrait, there is no way you could spend $5,000 on senior portraits here! For seniors, we charge a $300 deposit (which ALL goes toward your purchase). Mr. Jaffe photographs seniors in the studio (multiple changes of clothes), different backgrounds, B&W and on location of your choice.(downtown, Brooks Museum, Memorial Park, or even somewhere specific to you) Senior sessions last 2 to 3 hours (one on one with Mr. Jaffe). I do not understand what Mercedes’ agenda is. I emailed her and asked her to call me to discuss any problem she had about our studio and senior prices, SHE IGNORED MY REQUEST. I also see she has slammed another local studio on city search regarding senior portraits. P.S.- as for the “typical cookie cutter” poses, you can go to our website and see OUR senior portraits are unlike anyone else... Read more

Due to the quantity of photos we needed to purchase, the locations I wanted for the shoot, and the $5,000 the staff at Jaffe's studio estimated I would ultimately invest; the choice came down to either finding someone I could sell my liver to or search for a photographer as talented as Jaffe without the price tag. Fortunately, a friend referred us to Seavers Photography in Collierville. They spent just under 3 hours taking photos at various locations in Collierville for me and were incredible! The sitting fee for that time, which also included 2 free 8x10's.....$45.00! There were no requirements to purchase additional photos; I could have taken the 8x10's and been done. Jaffe's price was only for an hour, 1 location off site with the option of the studio if any time was left. His fee was higher, did not include any photos but would be used to discount a package if I chose to purchase one. If not, I would've been out the sitting fee I paid them. We purchased a lot more than the 2 fre... Read more

I have been taking my children to Jaffe Studio for over 5 years now, and have never been anything but pleased. I'll admit, we've tried other photographers through the years but nothing compared to the top-notch photography we've received from Jaffe's, and the customer service is amazing. I was shocked to see the review someone wrote about Jaffe Studio's customer service, they must have Jaffe mixed up with another studio! The staff treats us more like family than customers, always willing to go the extra mile to work with us. I would highly recommend Jaffe Studio to anyone!

Although Hal is a talented photographer, his staff is rude and uncooperative. I have endured unreturned calls, bad attitudes, and vulgar tones in order to receive quality portraits. The studio is extremely pricey but treats its customers as if they are doing the client a favor by taking their picture. I'm happy to pay for quality work but am finally fed up with their horrible customer service. Thus, overall the studio is sadly overrated!
