Thu May 14 2009No one is tying you up and forcing you to watch...Unless that's part of the foreplay.

Thu Nov 06 2008Sex is basically grosss in and of itself. It's what's erotic that appeals. If a man finds another mans butt erotic, well, there ya go. Me? Nothing is better than a soft, female tush!

Wed Jun 25 2008Gross is in the eye of the beholder. Besides, as a relentless heterosexual, I've always thought some of the best sex I ever had would probably have grossed out my Mom if she'd known about it. Come to think of it, I suspect that the best sex Mom had would have grossed me out if I'd known about it.

Thu Apr 17 2008It's anti natural and disgusting. And the worst thing is, gays dare to justify it by calling it love. Gross indeed.

Thu Apr 17 2008What someone else does in the privacy of their own home is none of my business as an individual.

Thu Apr 17 2008I'll be Captain Obvoius for a moment and point out that most of the sex straight people have is pretty gross, too.

Sun Apr 06 2008Here what is gross, a man and a woman show affection for each other in public, but there are no bans on that.
by ilikepie
Sun Mar 30 2008Well, to be honest, a hell of a lot of people who get married are ugly. And I'd imagine that "loving" between them would be pretty gross too, but they can still legally get married...

Tue Mar 11 2008Clearly the government has the responsibility and mandate to intercede and put a stop to anything that is icky or gross. C'mon politicians, get off your overpaid butts and do something!

Thu Mar 01 2007They say "If you don't like it than don't look" You can always look away.

Thu Mar 01 2007As far as I'm concerned, people can be as gross as they want in the privacy of their bedrooms, and it's neither the business of the government nor anyone else what they do there. Oh, and hetersexuals do some pretty "gross" things too--in fact a lot of the same things gay people do.

Thu Mar 01 2007Hey, come on all you one and two star posters. Consider what goes on here. If society would understand how the physical act works, we would be a lot less tolerant of this disease spreading disgusting activity. Do you know what fisting is for instance? If not, use your imagination or look it up on the internet. Review the other activities that contribute to the AIDS outbreak.

Tue Dec 19 2006Yes, it is gross...just as sex between two fat people, or two ugly people is gross -but that's their business, not yours!
by virilevagabond
Mon Dec 18 2006Though I would have to acknowledge that (barring any constitutional limit) the government can ban "gross" behavior, this isn't much of an argument against gay marriages and/or unions. "Gross" is clearly subjective; however, subjectivity doesn't necessarily mean hands off by the state and one may argue that a relatively pervasive feeling of "grossness" is instinctual and, therefore, natural and correct. Nevertheless, (as other reviewers have noted) there are many behaviors that generally considered "gross" that are not banned by the law (though perhaps by societal norms), so this argument alone doesn't really hold much water in the Western world.

Tue Jun 20 2006This is kind of a wild thought but, I don't really think sex - of any kind - is best thought of as a spectator sport. That would also go along with other private, bodily functions like deficating, bathing, or applying medication to and/or scratching private parts. I think we all need to tend to our own grossness and leave the rest of the world to tend to their's. After all, no one is exempt from some form or another - at least in someone else's opinion.

Tue Jun 20 2006Have'ta agree with CastleBee on this one. Objectively-speaking, all sexual acts, homosexual and/or heterosexual, are gross, and occasionally funny, unless you happen to be one of the people engaging in them. In which case, they're pretty damn satisfying...

Mon Jun 19 2006i so much agree with this topic, to me it's is sick ,sick ,sick.

Sat May 27 2006This has to be the most amusing of the things that most of the anti-homosexual people spout during their protests. I'm all for people disagreeing on whether it's "okay", but at least back it up with some kind of intelligence and debating skill. Both sides have good points. I obviously don't agree with one side, but I can respect everyone for bringing up valid points that stresses the views of their own side. But like I said; intelligence is key to any debate. "It's gross" is probably the farthest from intelligent that I have ever heard.

Thu Jan 12 2006I know a lot of people who think escargot is gross. Should we ban that as well?

Fri Dec 30 2005Is it any more gross than hetero sex? Probably the least gross is lesbian sex. Less fluids involved anyway. Also the least likely to spread venereal disease. Maybe we should all become lesbians.

Sat Nov 12 2005UPDATE: I suppose I feel a bit bad for quoting such heavy Scriptures. I certainly don't mean to be judgmental but I am just saying what God thinks of the whole thing, plus I was being like that because we are talking about the fact that it is so gross. Yes, I find homosexuality gross, but what made me even more angry and inspired me to write those Scriputres is knowing how they actually have sex. Well, I don't mean to be offensive (rude) but put it this way, when they have sex, gays don't just use sexual organs! That type of sex is highly revolting. But I also want to let people know that I don't hate gays in anyway. I just hate homosexuality, not the person. It is actually quite useless hating homosexuals because the whole point of Christianity is for us to get people to love God, and no one is attracted to a whole lot of hatred. That's why it is wrong to hate homosexuals (well one reason anyway, there are more reasons). By hating gays in the past, the church was not doing G... Read more

Fri Nov 11 2005So is Bush's foreign policy, but I don't see any of those right wing, homophobic fundamentalists trying to put a damper on that.

Tue Nov 08 2005AIDS huh.. AIDS doesn't necessarily equal Gay; AIDS is just highly more common for Gays to get. Why? I've read countless studies online stating that gays can have up to 1000 sexual partners in a lifetime. Many of you are relating gross to a number of things in life. Someone said smoking is gross, yet not illegal. We have limitations on it do we not? Someone else said spiders are gross, does that even apply in any way to this? Many others have related food itself to this, yet, the inevitable fact is, food is good for us, whether we approve of its taste or not. The problem is that we fear the outcome of Gays on society itself. Another problem with gross is, we, as a society, are being asked to put our stamp of approval on it. I've also read countless in here about others saying "homophobe". Is their something wrong fearing what COULD POSSIBLY (emphasis on the could and possibly) be greatly detrimental to society and the children that could possibly be raised from its outcome? Sadly, I... Read more

Thu Nov 03 2005The smartass in me is tempted to say, "if you think it's gross, you're doing it wrong." But, in the interest of a more constructive comment, I simply have to point out that personal taste is something which is in the purview of the government to legislate. I am sure there are quite a few racists out there who find interracial marriages to be "gross," but we don't cave into their prejudice and make interracial marriages illegal. Noone here is asking that we legalize sex in the streets. What goes on between my partner and myself in our bedroom is, quite frankly, noone else's business. If you find our relationship to be "gross," then perhaps you should ask yourself why you are spending time imagining something that is taking place behind closed doors. And, as for the comments regarding HIV/AIDS...it is incredibly purile to contend that HIV/AIDS is a "gay phenomenon." It is like the parable of the blind men and the elephant. If you look at HIV/AIDS in a myopic way, only viewing... Read more

Sat Oct 29 2005Lots of things are gross. Do we really want to make them illegal?
by kairho
Sat Oct 08 2005...it may be icky, too. So are spiders ... and war. Let's ban them, too, just because we have a juvenile impression of something we know little about. I forgot yucky....

Sun Sep 18 2005Yes it is .. how can i get to kiss a GUY ?? it just doesn't feel right .. but i wouldn't say its the main issue but however quite important to consider..

Wed Sep 14 2005Maybe, but that doesn't justify banning it. Farting is gross - is it outlawed? No. Homeless people are gross - are they outlawed? No. Snakes are gross - are they outlawed? No. Indian food is gross - is it outlawed? No. Long fingernails on men is gross - is it outlawed? No. Dandruff is gross - is it outlawed? No. Vomiting is gross - is it outlawed? No. Sweating is gross - is it outlawed? No. Cottage cheese is gross - is it outlawed? No. Contortionists are gross - are they outlawed? No. Smoking is gross - is it outlawed? No. Female body builders are gross - are they outlawed? No. My point is not necessarily that we don't outlaw a lot of things that are gross, but that what we think is gross is no basis for legislating, because I am sure that many people would disagree with what I may think is gross and would be mighty pissed if I had the power to pass laws that banned things that I personally thought were gross.

Wed Sep 14 2005I try not to spend much time thinking about what gays do in the bedroom because frankly it does not appeal to me. But what they do in the bedroom is their business, just like what heterosexuals do in the bedroom is their business.

Tue Aug 02 2005So is eating your own snot but I wouldn't ban someone for doing it! Entirely subjective.
by redoedo
Mon Jun 13 2005Depends on your perspective. Subjective, therefore irrelevant.

Thu May 05 2005Jeez this topic has homophobia written all over it. This site has too many extreme right topics. Am sure many gay people think hetrosexual intercourse is disgusting but you don't see them openly telling every1!

Mon Apr 18 2005It's gross. Yep, I said that when I was in fifth grade. We're all grown up now and we know better don't we? Now we use big words like umoral and unnatural and even perverted. Basically, it's gross IS the reason people appose gay marriage today. They take their opinions of right and wrong and gross and not-gross and try to shove them on other people. Gays and lesbians only have one life to live, just like you do. Stop trying to shove your lifestyle and your bible down other people's throats and leave those poor people alone. They get enough sh*t in their lives without ignorant bible-thumpers like yourselves telling them what's right and wrong.
by james76255
Mon Apr 18 2005So is boiled squash, but it's still legal. Seriously, gross is all a matter of opinion. When it comes to two people getting married, I suppose same sex marriage would be no more gross than any other marriage.
by bigbaby
Mon Apr 18 2005Believe it or not, but this is the argument that most religious conservatives hold against homosexuals. Most are opposed to gays themselves because they dont understand it, misinterpret the Bible, or just find it gross. People in general are scared of what they don't understand. I think everyone here needs to get a grip on reality. Conservatives dont give a rats ass about the sanctity of marriage. They either hate or dont understand gays. That's the truth, folks, if you want to believe it or not.

Sun Apr 17 2005Homophobic sh#t courtesy of RIA. What's really gross is discrimination and the desire to impose your philosophical agenda on others. What's really gross is spending too much time wondering where people put their little pee-pees and why. I think fat and ugly people copulating is gross - want to ban them as well? Grow up, kids- you're the laughingstock of the first world.
by emj5687
Sun Apr 17 2005we better ban old people having sex then too b/c i find that gross, and for that matter i know this one really unattractive guy who i just cant picture having sex, we should ban him too.
by kamylienne
Sun Apr 17 2005Hey, I find the idea of many couples having sex is kinda gross (like my parents or my in-laws, now, THAT'S gross!), and I'm sure many would think the same of me and my husband. Just because I would find something to be kinda nasty, though, wouldn't make for a good reason to make a law against it. I may JOKINGLY say that overweight and hairy men should not be allowed to take their shirts off on a hot day (which, I will have to say, is really gross), I would not support a law that would ban them from doing so. Since the definition of what is gross differs from person to person, this argument would be invalid.

Fri Apr 15 2005It's gross? That is a opinion and not a valid arguement.

Fri Apr 15 2005Yes, it is gross. Decidedly less gross when it's women, however. Still, there are lots of gross things that are legal. God Bless America.
