Tue Nov 03 2009I am a customer of Interstate Bankers, and was a customer of US Agencies previously. I can say that Interstate Bankers is on par, if not better than U.S agency. I had a hit and run where i hit someone else and ran without my car. It was an old car, and i did not care for it that much so It was ok with me that Interstate bankers rejected my claim because my car was no-good, and they did a good job at making sure the injured person in the other car did not bother me personally (i am not legal in this country and that was a problem). So, really, it is a very good service for the price and i recommend them a lot. I can't use them under my current name but i'll use them with my new name when the fake social security card come in. p.s: Bambi, the office manager is very cute too. i am waiting for a call back from her. loic

Mon May 11 2009My daughter had a accident with a person who was insured with Interstate Bankers. The other party ran into her and he was also ticketed. It happened on 4/3/09. We had to take her car to one of Interstate Bankers faciliies for estimate which was 35 miles away from our house. Had that done on 5/2/09 to this day they keep saying they are still entering it and cannot tell me anything. Their service stinks and whenever you call they are very rude. They should not be in business. If anybody has any advise please let me know.

Mon Apr 13 2009A man insured with Interstate Bankers ran a red light and plowed into my vehicle, completely totaling my car and causing serious injury to myself and to himself as well. Apparently Interstate Bankers insured this man even though he is an illegal immigrant and does not have a valid driver's license, not just for Illinois but for America in general. He was using a fake license to get by but the cop that wrote out accident report immediately got to the bottom of it when he looked up the man's identification. The accident was at 6:40 am yesterday. Since then, neither my local police department, the local or national Progressive insurance agency (my insurance) NOR I myself could reach ANYONE by phone at Interstate Bankers. Regardless the time you call you will be routed to an answering machine. They do not return calls. I will be going forward and get legal action. I suggest anyone insured with this insurance to GET OUT FAST because they will not help you cover anything, you will be stuc... Read more

Thu Jun 12 2008Hello, I just wanted to explain why you should not use this company. I was hi* by an insured from this company almost a month ago and nothing has happened as of yet to fix my car. I have called numerous times and I keep getting no information. They began asking me questions about my insurance and acting as if I was just trying to take advantage of them. They also stated that if the insured does not claim the accident then they will not be doing anything to help me. When I asked for a manager they women Mary Loo so she says told me that she is the boss! They are very rude and have no concern for you. I don't understand why anyone would what to have an insurance that just doesn't care about you.

Mon May 12 2008I just wanted to let everyone know how absolutely BAD this company is to deal with!!!! One of their insured struck my wifes car 40 days ago (thats right! FORTY days) and they are yet to even acknowledge what happened. When she kept calling to find out what was going on they kept giving her the run around. I called today to get to the bottom of the issue and some snotty witch Wanda treated me as if I was bothering her. She said that because the insured who struck us has not responded to them as of yet that they can't do a thing. This was conveyed by her in the rudest manner. I said that I wanted to speak to a supervisor and she said that SHE WAS THE BOSS!! Then she put me on hold and after about 10 minutes she picked back up and told me their was someone else to talk to. After putting me on hold for a while longer she picked back up and said that he was out to lunch. I said,"you have got to be kidding me." She instructed me to call him back later. I told her that if he did not ... Read more

Sun May 04 2008Hi everyone this is my first message but i had to let the chicago citizens know that Interstate Insurance company is the most unhelpful, unconcerned, and impolite people i have ever dealt with. I have read the previous reviews and agree with everything the previous reviewers have stated. I had called them as soon as i could after the accident and i had begun explaining what had happened. They responded with no concern as to my health or well being. They simply began asking questions and once i had explained that i was currently in south florida when the accident occured and was moving to the chicago-suburb area they had immediatly said that my claim would be denied and i will be getting a letter in the mail stating why. I have recieved the letter and it has stated that my claim and insurance policy has been cancelled. They never even took the time out to get my car out of the tow yard but thankfully my friend who was involved in the accident, her insurance agency (Allstate) who i high... Read more

Mon Mar 24 2008I got into an accident 2 months ago, no one else was involved front end collision simple enough right? WRONG 2 months later and I still do not have my car back from the body shop. Interstate Bankers keeps pushing me off the phone, I have been hung up on twice, and been told that nothing will happen with my car until I take further action. They tryed to increase my deductible after the accident. I spent 3 weeks just trying to get them to start fixing my car. And now im spending an hour or two on the phone every day fighting to get idiotic charges removed and finally get my car fixed. The best part, in the accident my hood flew up and broke my windshield, the adjuster says that it was an old break in the windshield and they will not pay for it. So now after 2 months of having no car, ill finally get it back and then have to go and pay to get my windshield fixed. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS INSURANCE COMPANY. They are rude, impolite, and down right mean to there customers. O... Read more

Thu Mar 13 2008my daughter was recently involved in a car accident with a customer of interstate bankes insurance. After three weeks of jumping through hoops they inform me the the claim is being denied. after investigation we found out that they are canceling there clients insurance for not having the current address registered with them. there client lives in chicago and had that address listed but was going to school in iowa. his permenant address is in chicago so all seems right with this. Because of this they are not going to pay his or our claim. if you are a client of interstate bank insurance or thinking about it think again. there are lots of good insurance companys out there, this is not one of them.

Wed Oct 24 2007This is my first time posting a review but I compelled to do so. My husband was involved in a hi* and run. The drive pulled over we spoke to him and told us to follow him to the owner of the car's home. We were following him when he took off and we lost him. So we got some information like the drivers name and the license plate number but that was it. Unfortunately we got stuck paying the $500 deductible but were going to pursue the other driver so we could get the deductible back. We had to leave it up to Interstate Bankers to do their part of their job but THREE YEARS later and nothing has been done. No response at all we have to call up there and here the same answer for 3 years. "They're still investigating" I am going to have to take some more extreme measures on getting my deductible back.
