Very interesting, same things happened to us. I just filed a complaint with BBB and OPC (Office de Protection de consommateur Quebec). We had our shipment remeasured by the receiving company before touching anything. Internic charged us 7.3CBM, the shipment received was 4.2 CBM. We knew how much we had shipped so when Internic asked us to pay for 3 additional CBM, we told then that there was a mistake. They threated us that they would not deliver if we don't pay. And many other problems such as they almost sent the shipment to another city, when we corrected them they asked for more money and again threatened us. They failed to reply our phone calls and e-mails, they misinformed us many times and left us without information and explanation. The shipment left Canada 1.5 months late, so when we arrived in Dunedin, New Zealand in June (winter), we and the children froze because our winter clothes, bed and bedding were in the shipment. So we had to spend lots of money to buy new things wh... Read more

COMPLETELY DISHONEST, FRAUDULENT COMPANY. I had the misfortune of hire this company four months ago, and I'm still waiting for my stuff to be delivered. Like in most of the cases I've read here (and in other sites too), they under quoted their services, and they have kept asking extra fees since then, always with vague justifications. When I had finally thougt I had received and (unfortunately) paid for the "final" bill, I just received last week an email from them asking for several hundred dollars more. I cant believe it! This has already cost me much more than what i had expected, and I dont even know yet if I'll ever see my belongings again. A big shame this people are still on the market.

I came across your report and find it confusing. As with most of the posts on here, it is mostly "he said we said" there is no grounds in which readers can understand fully the claims being made and to determine who is at fault (either entirely or partially). Of course, we always tend to give right to the consumers but we must know if the claims are accurate. As well what were the steps before, during and after the claims from both parties. Was compensation offered? I would appreciate if you can post the "terms and conditions" as well as a copy of the contract so the readers can see first hand what was and was not included in the services

We apologize for flooding the thread but we believe some new developments deserves a new post (they tend to be a bit long ^^) Although we wrote twice directly to Internic Moving Services/ Euro transport to ask for justifications on overcharging our bill. It took us to complaint to the B.B.B. in order to get a reaction from Internic. People used to Internic communication pattern on the internet will easily recognize the motto. As I believe it is both funny and informative, we propose to post here the exchange and its outcomes: Broken down answer from Xav to "Jack Monier" after he was summoned to mediation by the B.B.B. 10/08/2010 0h09 <Jacques Monier> Thank you for bringing yours concerns. 10/08/2010 13h51 Xav wrote: You are most welcome, we only regret to have to complaint to the B.B.B. In order to hear from you. <Jacques Monier> If we were as bad as you said, our company would not stay in business long. I have a long list of satisfy customers and we are proud to bring Internatio... WAY BEYOND TERRIBLE INDEED !!! ”Commitment, honesty, caring, trust, integrity and accountability; these are just some of our core values.” Looking for facts, and backtracking the details of our log with Internic Moving Services, I just found this sentence as their introduction motto for our first contact. Knowing how deceitful and careless this company was for us, knowing in how much trouble and distress they put us into, I could not help to laugh at the irony, as for us the full sentence should have been: “these are just some of the core values the we are stomping on a daily basis.” We had the misfortune to select Internic Moving Services a.k.a. Euro transport to move back from Canada to France. I need to stress this is not our first international move. Although our previous experiences went as smoothly as possible, we do understand that such sort of business has its own finance, schedule and logistic issues that mere mortals like ourselves are not meant to understand. But in ... Read more

Failure to communicate, failure to respond to emails, unprofessional and incompetent moving company. Business model is to deliberately under quote to win the business and then increase final invoice (In our case a 45% increase over original rates quoted). If you don`t pay they have your stuff and won`t deliver. They subcontract much of their work out and 70% of the time don`t know what is going on - and don`t care. Terrible company to have had the misfortune to have used.

Beyond terrible...I went with this company after looking for "top rated moving companies in Canada" and was referred to Euro Transport International. I received a very competitive quote and noticed that company email/named changed to Internic Moving Services "first red flag". They are currently holding my belongings ransom 3 weeks after I was led to believe they had already been shipped and asking for a wire transfer twice the price of what was originally quoted!! Their reason - that my 1CM shipment was in fact 2CM...I know for a fact this is not true as I have made a similar shipment before and because I bought the boxes from a local moving company with exact specifications. I have been trying to sort this out for weeks but as fast as they are to provide you with a quote, they are not so fast at returning emails or calls. Incredibly dishonest and downright fraudulent....pls learn from from my experience and avoid at all costs!!

internic moving services out of montreal must be by far the most fraudulent moving company around. the G.M. Jacque Monier tried to collect twice on the same invoice from both my wife and I because he knew we were going through a divorce, the man has absolutely no scruples. don't just be careful dealing with these jokers but stay away from them.

Is it possible to give a zero star rating?!!! This company was HORRIBLE. I am basically going to echo what the other two customers have said (notice only an employee gave more than 1 star). They have been holding my goods ransom, and before shipping it to me have drastically increased the cost from the estimated amount. Just when I thought I had paid the final installment, they emailed me to tell me I owe several hundred dollars more, not to mention that this is AFTER they were supposed to have shipped my goods ... 2 weeks ago! This company is unbelievable. Furthermore, people who couldn't speak English (not that I am against that ... but when you have English-speaking clientele it can be an issue)came to pick up my goods from my home, and expressed confusion over where to take them. When I called someone to clarify the issue, she was also unable to communicate in English, and therefore I had no idea what happened to my belongings or whether I'd ever see them again! I only got word abo... Read more

I am very skeptical about the complaint, we would not be long in business if we were charging whatever we want. Our company honor his contracts and thats why we move every year several thousands of clients worlwide. If this client had paid 25% more its probably because some charges such as destination port charges were not included.

A dreadful experience... They quoted a decent amount for most of the services we needed just to have us sign the contract. Then, when the container was about to arryve, they charged for many other items. Be aware that their contract is designed to be open ended so they can charge whatever they like. Communication: they answer their e-mails only when they want money from you; I had to notify BBB (better business bureau) to get a more detailed description of the extra charges (25% on top of the original contract). Bottom line: avoid them if you can, for your own financial health
