I guess I shouldn't judge infinity based on the pulling of one radio station that I don't even listen to any more, but from what I read, the pulling of legendary alt music radio station whfs was shameful. No warning to its users, no good byes, no tributes - one minutes its hfs, the next its salsa. Everybody's got to pay the bills, but it just seems to me that there's a right way and a wrong way to do things. With the unceremonious dumping of hfs, Infinity shows that at least for the people calling the shots, it's not about the music. If there had been music people involved in the decision, there certainly would have been some acknowledgment of the influential role that HFS has played in shaping the country's progressive rock scene.
