Thu Mar 17 2011Bigotry seems to dictate how one votes on the Celtic park and Ibrox stadium poles. I've been to many stadia including Ibrox and Parkhead. Allow me to add an unbiased, impartial opinion of these stadia so as to educate the neutral fan who must be trying to make sense of all this. The atmosphere at both stadiums is incredible. Celtic park is ugly and imposing and on closer inspection is a concrete disaster, steep seating, poles obstruct the view in places. Even the main stand (the lower sitting side of the park) which I believe is a listed building is a red brick eyesore. It looks like a 70's local government building which is probably why it appeals greatly to the celtic fans as they probably think they're gonna get another Giro cheque everytime they lay eyes on the place. That must give them a nice warm sensation every matchday "now if only I could get my methadone and a bottle of "Buckie" too this place truly would be paradise". The only thing worse than this celtic park is the old ce... Read more

Thu Jun 25 2009it looks like a factory from the outside. and the depressing blue coloured seats make me want to top myself. also there is a strange smell of rats urine in and around the stadium. but fair play every second saturday it is a special place as it hosts the world's biggest gathering of special needs students. also it's mafia don davey "crazy legs" murray is also known for drinking to much at these special gatherings and getting legless. p.s. gazza is a phsyco p.p.s richard gough child molester

Sat Apr 12 2008Very good stadium in a deprived region. noisey fans which is good however if they could just get rid of the sectarian FTP songs and billy boot boys then it would be regarded in europe higher than it possibly deserves.

Thu Aug 30 2007I thought we were all supposed to rate the stadium. NOT give opinions on the supporters. The STADIUM is top notch. Large enough but almost evryone sees everything going on. It also has no obstructed views, IS finished to a high standard (unlike Parkhead) and is comfortable (unlike Hampden - TOO DRAFTY and Parkhead - UNSAFE SEATING ELEVATION. Yes the food isn't that great but which club does sell good food?... answer: none! It's also the most accessable in Glasgow and safest to get to too. Agreeable that the bile songs are a problem but sung by a select few idiots that are the disease of Glasgow based football in general.

Sat Jun 24 2006Resembles a Victorian work house, home to the most bigotted fans in the world...just ask UEFA! Should be torn down and made into a Tesco or Lidl

Fri Mar 24 2006Currently under investigation by UEFA for its world famous(anti-catholic)religious bigotry. Nazi and other right wing extremist paraphernalia openly on display for sale on approach to stadium before games. Overall, not a nice place to take the family!

Wed Mar 15 2006Magnifique Stadia, modern, well lit, easy to find and your Main Stand is one of the most beautiful sights I have seen. Also very warm, friendly and was made most welcome. My family back home in Italy have always wished to visit since I told them of my experience. I do hope the will.

Tue Dec 13 2005Rating is not so much for the stadium, it is not that bad really. However the denizens who inhabit it on a regular basis are among the most unpleasant group of so called 'fans' who you could possibly meet. Racist, fascist, sectarian (they spout hate filled rants at anything remotely associated with the Roman Catholic faith and often end songs and chants with an insult to the Pope) Leaves a nasty impression.

Wed Nov 30 2005pure wreackin of pish

Wed Nov 30 2005The last word in state-of-the-art sports venues and one of the leading grounds in the world. In fact, it is one of only 12 in Europe accorded five-star status by UEFA. Unlike many other football clubs, Rangers have preserved all that is valuable of the old and combined it with the best of the new. Rangers is arguably one of the most famous and successful football clubs in the world and is recognised in every country across the globe. Nuff said? invernessbhoy - the pish you could smell was from your fellow unwashed supporters as you were standing with mhanky sellik fhans.

Fri Apr 08 2005simply the best stadium in scotland, if you cant see this then quite frankly your opinion doesnt matter, a truly exceptional place well worthy of being the home of the people
by gb1872
Fri Apr 08 2005Best atmosphere in a great stadium for great players who have won more domestic trophies that any other club in the world. Pity we have to read bitter comments from the low lives who can't accept we have one of the very few FIVE star stadiums in Europe.

Mon Mar 21 2005Facilities good, support inside it vile. Used to let Orange Order (Anti-Catholic orginisation, similar to Airian Nation) hold services in stadium ontill recently. Fans favourite player wore black armband for natorious terrorist killer in Northern Ireland. Sick bunch

Thu Jan 06 2005ally mc coist: the language and the songs match the colour of the stadium u no wat i mean
by fermanaghbhoy
Thu Jan 06 2005An absolute disgrace to the name of football. Nothing more than a goat-fiddling club of hatred, racism, sectarianism and prejudice owned by the Grand-Master, the Imperial Moose.
by superreds
Thu Jan 06 2005Of the three major Glasgow stadia, this is the one to avoid. An overtly oppressive atmosphere and all the songs sung are either racist or sectarian. They only seem to sing songs about their rivals rather than their own team. Avoid.

Wed Jan 05 2005Sh*tebox is a better name for this hole. Biggoted songs blarring from the tannoy system to fuel the sectarian parasites who call it home. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
by ticked_off_tim
Wed Jan 05 2005I tell you what, we will call this a stadium when you lot can afford to fill in the four corners, shouldv'e known that a guy with nae legs would reckon that this stadium is actually complete.
by rasher
Wed Jan 05 2005hunnery park just reeks of hatred. No such thing as atmosphere here until Celtic play. Not worth visiting, why bother going to see a bunch of overrated foreign losers who haven't a clue what their ape-child supporters sing.
by ennaoj
Wed Jan 05 2005Castle Greyskull is an absolute hole. It stinks of sectarian hatred (and inbreeding). Only go and visit if you want your head panned in by a royal blue gorilla. When in Glasgow visit Paradise. The trophy room is worth a viewing, there is a replica of the European Cup something that will never be seen at Castle Greyskull.
by tim_alloy
Wed Jan 05 2005Absolute disgrace, both stadium and fans. Belongs in a timewarp, along with the most bigoted fans and officials in world football
by the_bhoy_wonde_r
Wed Jan 05 2005Iwish there was a zero rating for this stadium as I would certainly give it a big fat 0. The food tastes like someone sh*t on it, the catering staff are like extras from a low budget Horror Movie and the supporters are the worst and most racist supporters in the world besides the English Hooligans that is, RFC supporters racially abuse Black players on opposing teams all the time, have they forgot they have black players of there own, well one Marvin Andrews who in a non racist way is a complete dumpling. And RFC fans why do you think all your Black players have left or are leaving is because of this racism.
by andy1888
Wed Jan 05 2005An appalling ground, owned by a club which refused to sign Catholic players for almost 100 years and which has the Orange Order (an extremist Protestant group)as a shareholder. Outside the stadium, Neo-Nazi groups peddle vile literature. Inside, the club play flute music (associated with bigoted organisations in the North of Ireland). There are hardly any football songs, just hateful stuff about being up to the knees in the bllod of Irish catholics. In short, don't go there unless you are a white, Protestant extremist with far-right views.
