Sun Feb 28 2010In my opinion; one of if not the best romantic comedies of any genre (gay or straight). And now the "why?"... In this day and age of gay themed movies (actually over about the last 20 years of LGBT film making), every film seems to have to shove a message at you. Mind you I think "message films" are important and have their place. However...time to get extremely real and serious for a moment...if you live in the LGBT community, whether you are open or in the closet, those issues we face are a part of our everyday lives. Half the people who use Matthew Shepard's name in a movie weren't old enough to remember it in their life; they only know what they've read. So our mini-activists feel that they somehow have to mention his name and reference his story in about half the films out there. Mon Apr 11 2005Christian Maelen gives an outstanding performace as he returns for a wedding of one of his college friends and meets up with his first love... who at the time... did not know he was his first love... good ensemble cast.
