Over priced for what you get, decent room but nothing to get excited about.

My experiences, which have all been on business, have been uniformly above average to good. I've never seen anything I'd rave about, but I've never called room service for the fumigators either. Maybe a touch over-priced, but since I'm usually on account or billing the client, it isn't a big deal with me.

Most Hyatt Hotels I've stayed in have been excellent. Usually great service, good locations and consistent. Definitely recommend.

The best of the best, in my opinion. Plus knowing my money is not going to buy Paris Hilton another BMW bodes very well with me.

As a resort hotel, they're excellent. The quality of service and overall environment is very pleasant. However, their business hotels could use a lot of improvement!

I've noted some variability in quality from one location to the next, which probably accounts for some of the differences in opinion listed. The Hyatt Regency Kaanapali Beach was fantastic, but it's a resort hotel. The one one in downtown Phoenix was much less impressive. The location at the Orlando Airport is also not as nice. But if you consider it for what it is, subject to the limitations of being an Airport location, then it's still pretty darn well done.

Hyatt has the best customer service of any major hotel chain and Gold Passport is the best rewards program.

My experience with Hyatt was limited to a stay at what was then the Hyatt Atrium in Budapest (since taken over by a French hotel chain within the past couple of years). The hotel itself was excellent (nice view of the Danube, spacious, comfortable room), and service was good. It was pretty pricey, however, and breakfast was way overpriced for what you eneded up getting.

Hyatt is an outstanding Hotel/Resort chain! Nearly every Hyatt I have stayed at I have checked out 100% Satisfied! I highly recommend Hyatt for all kinds of travelers from vacationing families to buisness travelers! The best of the best this chain can get to is the Hyatt Regency! My favorite Hyatt Hotel/Resort was the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress! This resort was spectacular! I highly recommend Hyatt Hotels/Resorts! You can checkout thier site at www.hyatt.com

Recently we stayed at Hyatt, Fair Lakes, Fairfax, VA . Even thoygh we had a confirmed email rservation in hand,we still had a 20 minute wait at front desk while they sorted out the reservation in their computer. We found the main restaturant to be pricey ($15 per person for breakfast). Housekeeping didn't show up until late afternoon to straighten room. Although hotel advertises complimentary shuttle to closest Metro (6 miles), we waited 30 minutes for someone to leave the front desk to drive the van. Although amenities and surroundings were pleasant, not having a car during our stay was certainly a detraction. There's no Hotel shuttle to the closest airport (Dulles) and any transportation, other than the hit or mis hotel van, is on your own wallet. The highly touted Hyatt room TV check out failed to work. In general, most of the front desk personnel were not very courteous or helpful. Overall, not as good as previous stays in other Hyatt's.

Overall rating 3.90 hyatt is awesome!!! We went here for a competition for BPA (Buisness Professionals of America) so I can not rate the check in or dealing with the staff... We got in right away considering previous yers you had to wait till 3 for this kind of event. The hotel is very nice but they only had 4 elevators for 20 floors(and 3 floors of nothing but concrete and the elevator skipped floor 13 and another). the rooms were average for a hotel and had the same features most do. (coffee maker, etc) the room also had 2 phones. The room was not decorated very fancy and had modern artwork on the walls. also the room had a good shower head. as some of you requested, I can not rate the service of the hotel. I can however rate the service of the resteraunts, which ranged from good to average. the travel store was great! they had purses there for 3.99!!! which was a good deal considering most of the stuff there was really expensive! but the American Hambuger place took too... On November 17, 2001 Marc and I were lucky enough to get married in beautiful Newport, RI. It was a dream come true. We chose the Hyatt on Goat Island because of the exceptional service that the Hyatt supposedly extends to its guests and also the room with the beautiful ocean view. Unfortunately the Hyatt’s service during the planning of and the actual wedding and ceremony was not the outstanding service they boast. Some of our sources of irritation were; our contact was changed without notice and we had to reiterate our entire wedding to someone new, as they apparently had no record of what we ordered only a month or so prior to the wedding. I was told they would book spa time for my mother and myself. It was never booked and we were forced to go off the property on the wedding day for those services. We wanted to book a brunch the following day and not only were the advertised prices they gave us $3.00 per person less than what they quoted us and made no mention of a room char... Read more

Only been to Hyatts in Central Asia. Some better than others, generally pretty good, but the Frequest Guest programme doesn't really offer a lot, even to Platinum card members.

I've stayed in only a few Hyatt Hotels and, based on limited experience, I think they're overrated. For a supposed top tier hotel chain their rooms are average and the service is only fair to poor.

I just stayed at the Hyatt -Embarcadero in SF, CA. I was a business class customer. The room was adequately sized for a single occupant...It would be a little tight for two. The provided breakfast was good, but could use a little variety in the fruit (bananas and cantaloupe get kinda mundane after 3 days). The concierge could use a laptop logged into RateItAll to provide suggestions...he obviously is not capable of doing so on his own. The staff was courteous and helpful...we especially enjoyed the Limo ride back to the airport!!!

Hyatt hotels are consistent in quality and service. The rooms generally have business commodities such as a coffee maker and an iron, but they also have recreational facilities such as a gym.
