This is my favorite Pizza Chain. I could eat the pizza all day and night. It is also cheap and wonderful. I think it is a lot better than a lot of the pizza chains out there. I love the butter cheese crust.

Giving this place one star would be doing them a favor. My pizza was crusty around the edges and tasted like a wet Motza cracker. Breadsticks were so salty, they were uneatable. The only thing I enjoyed was my pepsi. And when I called the store to complaint, the manager said thanks and hung up the phone. I've never been treated with more dissrespect or had a worst tasting pizza. I will never eat there again. It was 30 dollars thrown out the window. And Bruce, I hope you find your place in the unemployment line.

Typical cardboard pizza, but for what it is, it's tangy delicious. Oh, wait! I have a story! I ordered here once and for some reason used my OWN credit card number instead of one of my friends that I've memorized, and I get pizza, spaghetti, etc, and I cram it all in, eventually soaring up to 250 pounds. ('Soaring' is possibly a bad choice of words.) A few days later, I check my statement and I've apparently paid someone's cell phone bill. At the time I worked for AT&T (free phone), and didn't see how I would have forgotten sending T-mobile about 80.00. What kind of A-hole uses someone else's credit card number like that? Oh.

I have order from Hungry Howies for a long period now, I have on many occasion had my order made wrong. When I call and talk to a manager they would give us a credit, how ever when I would call to use my credit they would say that no credit was on record. This has happened numerous times. I still continued to do business with them, the last straw came when I purchased a coupon booklet to help support my Granddaughter's day care center. I used these coupons on three different occasions and they delivered, I tried to redeem anther coupon and they told me it was carry out only. Other pizza places put carry out only on there coupons which were also in this booklet. I explained to them that the coupon did not indicate carry out only, when I complained they put my number on their don't respond list. You would think with today's economy customer service would be a priority. I could still walk in and order and would never know who I was but I will never spend another dollar at that place and ... We've ordered from them for YEARS. However, the last few times I've begged them to please pull the pizza out before it gets the cheese brown, it seems like they've gone out of their way to burn the pizza. I've always been courteous and tipped above and beyond. We're talking $10 bucks tip for a delivery pretty close. So I'm done with Hungry Howies on Bee Ridge Rd in Sarasota, Fl.

Hungry Howies has pretty good pizza. There is better out there but they have the awesome flavored crust. I would recommend the garlic herb. They have good deals/coupons online. Make sure if you order any sauces online to call and confirm ahead of time that they send them (they don't always arrive in the box on delivery). KT

The pizza is good.  However, the wings are awful.  I don't know which is worse, how the chicken is killed or how the wings are prepaed.  However, the bread is good.

Hungry Howies is my favorite pizza chain. Their pizzas are flavorful with the right crust thickness and some options for customization. The prices are very competitive too.

Pretty good pizza. I especially like the garlic flavored crust. Good quality pepperoni and cheese. A nice pizza with a twist, for the price.

hungry howies it the best pizza chain...and if you dont like the place becaseu of the dirtiness...then i recommend that you order out because that is what most NORMAL people do...dont judge a pizza chains food based on the service becasue the pizza is delicious...the only food places that should look nice and clean are actually nice sit in restaurants...if you want something high maintanance, then GO TO AN ELEGANT ITALIAN RESTAURANT or something..and i actually find a boy with his head stuck through a pizza quite appetizing!

Honestly, I can't comment about the food but I hate the sign. For some reason, It just bothers me when a dumb idea flies. I mean, a kid with his head stuck through a pizza? There is no grease or toppings on his face or anything. And if he's so hugry, why would he stick his head through it instead of putting it in his mouth? I can't eat at a place with such a dumb looking logo. I just can't trust the quality of the food.

Place opened in my city a couple years ago, and we went the first week. They got our order wrong, but so what, it was ok. We didn't complain. Then we got a letter in the mail that said there were so many mistakes the first couple weeks they wanted to offer their customers a free pizza. So we ordered again...wrong again (this time they were out of one of the toppings, which they let me know when I showed up to pick it up). So we're not going back. Food is ok, lots of crust options to choose from, but nothing special.

Has some crust choices but the pizza is about as good as Pizza Huts or Dominos. Look for made in taiwan on the bottom of the crust.

Another reviewer called Hungry Howie's "the best chain out there??" Must have smoked some good stuff before going...I also live in the Tampa area and have visited three locations. All are dirty, with poor food quality, and even worse customer service. If you ever are in the unfortunate stituation where you absolutely MUST order from them, when the pizza arrives, throw it in the trash, and gnaw on the box. It will taste better than the pizza.

Best pizza chain out there, tops Pizza hut and Papa Johns. It also isnt as expensive here in the Tampa area.
