Irish is hilarious, and if I didn't know better, I'd say that Frankswildyears is secretly Norm Macdonald. Numbah has some great lines, and CanadaSucks is consistently funny , too. But there's one guy that KILLS this place, over and over again, and he does it by telling variations of the same joke!

Lots of unintentional humor on here, of course, but FranksWildYears is consistently funny, as is Oscargamglesfro, in addition to being quite insightful. And, with a nod toward the "right-wing" side of the aisle, I have to say that GoinDownSlow has made me laugh until tears came. I would have to say I disagree with a great deal of what he says, but he's bright, interesting, and extremely funny.

Yes there have been lots of intentional and non-intentional funny stuff on RIA over the years - there are a lot of RIA regulars who are very gifted with words and have quick wits and excellent senses of humor and others who just need to be institutionalized and kept away from sharp objects :::wink:::. I tend to enjoy dry sometimes biting humor and I can't recall all the names of the people who have made me laugh over the years - it would be unfair to name names when there have been so many I would probably leave someone out. However, worth mentioning is one of the funniest remarks I ever read on the site. It was written by someone whose name I can't even remember and still cracks me up when I think of it. It wasn't long after my addiction to this site kicked in and I was reading reviews about the Pope. Some guy simply wrote, "Where can I get a hat like that?" I almost had to run to the bathroom.

*Raises hand* I am just one of a legion of people who get a laugh or two. GTH, IJR, CanadaSucks, and many others I don't even have time to mention leave me in stitches, but some of my most legendary exchanges have been strings of comments with Tracy and other parties that enjoy making her crazy.

How come nobody has mentioned alpepper around here? He seems to be on a bit of a Siskel and Ebert these days, but when he decides to let go of one of his life's lessons/navy anecdotes he'll make you crap your pants.Step up alpepper, I got my Depends on this time...

A number of people on here make me laugh, some of them without intending to do so. I thank you all. I'm not sure what an "expert" in humor is, so I'm not sure if we have any. We certainly are well supplied with humorous people, however.

. . . I'm afraid those who have made me laugh the most here were done so unintentionally. Overall (for intended humor): irish has sarcasm down to an art. However, I will have to praise someone on a SINGLE outstanding comment that he left way back when, which had me rolling on the floor (and still has me laughing just thinking about it):  LanceRoxas's very personal, and very descriptive, story here:  http://www.rateitall.com/r-1738377.aspx

A few people made me laugh, whether it was a humor, sarcasm, or unexpected mumbling. Thank you for making me smile.

Wow, there are a lot of people who qualify simply for having diff. styles. I'd say Numbah, Irish, IJR, GTH, Canada are high on the list...and add tracy, especially for the comment strings between her and several other funny reviewers.

Does dry, off-left field, often-misunderstood, not-always-easy-to-pin-down humor count?

Oh wow, a lot of people and a lot of different styles too. There are, to be truthful, a few ogres who could stand to get hit with the funny stick , but there are a lot of funny folks here.  IJR is good for absurdity. Ridgewalker  and Flick are two rightfully lauded wits. Irishgit, who has the kind of wise ass  remarks, comebacks, and satirical/ cynical in a humorous way nature that I grew up seeing in my neighborhood- I think he's a Boston or NYC Irish guy masquerading as a Canadian.  Djahuti and edt4 are generally pretty serious, but can be very funny.  Canadasucks can be brutally sarcastic, kind of reminds me of Don Rickles...Numbah of course, Genghis the hun...a few people who write about tobacco and Britney Spears and what not are unintentionally hilarious. Planetary Gear is hilarious and, I think, underrated  by the site as a whole. I found traderboy to be really funny at times.

A lot of funny people here. I love it when someone can make me laugh! The ones who don't exactly make me laugh are the "unhelpful" trolls who are up to their usual tricks. They know who they are.

Does sarcastic laughter count? If so, I am the very best... :D
