Aside from some back and forth on the pricing, which I still think I got a fair deal on for all my windows, I had a great experience working with Horizon Window Treatments. I had visited their showroom on 50th street before and then came back and stopped at their other one off 6th ave and 24th street. I must say that second one in Chelsea was much nicer and larger, so if you have a choice, go there. They had loads of fabric samples around and different window treatments on display, including the motorized shades and some metal chain curtains that I liked, too. I decided on the wood blinds and bamboo shades, though it wasn't easy settling on the styles. I have no complaints about the installation and everything looks just how I wanted now and works great with the rest of my decor.

Horizon helped me a great deal with choosing window treatments for my apartment. The process was very easy and laidback. When we were trying to figure out what type of treatment I should go with, I never once felt like I was being pressured by a salesperson to go for the most expensive option. I felt that Horizon genuinely cared about what was best for my apartment as opposed to just trying to sell me the most expensive product they could. After reading the reviews for Horizon, the pros outwayed the cons and I chose to work with them. Best decision that I made. Their services was outstanding. They gave a wide range of products to choose from. They helped me choose the right window treatment for my apartment. I wasnt sure about color and texture, but their designers worked with me, and didnt pressure me into what they thought was nice, they didnt judge my taste, and together we created something amazing that will decorate my apartment for years to come! My Style in My Home! Exactly what I wanted!

I never write reviews for things like this, but my experience with Horizon was so great, that I felt I should. I had just moved into my new condo in the East Village and one of the last things I needed to do to be completely settled in was get some window coverings. My salesperson was very helpful in picking out the perfect shades for my windows. It took about two weeks to finish the whole process, which I don't consider to be very long for custom work. My windows look great and I owe it all to Horizon!

Horizon impressed me greatly with their service and professionalism. My curtains look fantastic and the process was very easy and painless. I have never written an online review of anything, but our experience with Horizon was so horrible that I don't know what else to do. We had a nightmarish experience dealing with Horizon and I can't discourage other consumers from patronizing this business strongly enough. Horizon has essentially no customer service and every aspect of our interaction was frustrating. We requested a particular salesperson and then they sent over a person who knew NOTHING. Seriously, I, who know almost nothing about window treatments, was trying to guide her through the process. Fortunately, there was someone more knowledgeable in the car with whom I could at least make the initial order.
