I know several discriminating homosexuals. Their taste in clothing, home decor and wine is generally impecable. I might quibble with their fondness for ABBA though.

Homosexuals seem as likely to be bigots as their bisexual and heterosexual bretheren.

While i strongly disapprove of homosexuality, they still deserve thier fair share of rights. Many of them are born that way and have no control over it. These people I have sympathy for. However, the people who just randomly decide to change I have no sympathy for. I think it's against God's will, and unless it's a religous, or it's absolutely neccessary, I find it unacceptable.

I have a friend whose a lesbian, I see the way people treat her because of her sexual preference. It's just plain wrong, and I don't see why other people can't understand that.

Dr. Laura Schlessinger is a US radio personality who dispenses advice to people who call in to her radio show. Recently, she said that, as an observant Orthodox Jew, 'Homosexuality is an abomination! According to Leviticus 18:22, and cannot be condoned in any circumstance'. The following is an open letter to Dr. Laura penned by a US resident, which was posted on the Internet. Dear Dr. Laura: Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God's Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind them that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate. I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the other specific laws and how to follow them. 1. When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord ? Lev. 1:9. The problem is my neighbors. The... Read more

Other than not being allowed to get married, what can't they do?

Notice that the ratings list doesn't say 'in the United States.' Internationally they're one of the most discriminated groups, about as universally hated as atheists.

What discrimination? No, they are not allowed to enter into the institution of marriage but it's not as if they can't do other things people do. They are allowed to shop at any store, use any public facilities, and live together. The gay culture is over represented for the tiny part of America that it is. If you wish to see my views and reasons againist gay marriage, I invite you to view my other comments on the subject.

They make up no more than 2 or 3% of the population of the US. No OBJECTIVE study puts the number any higher than 3%, but many put it closer to 2%. Many agenda-driven studies claim the 10% range but all are conducted using faulty assumptions or methodology and have very little credibility. Around the world, the percentage is probably lower as tolerance in the US and western Europe is quite high, but in Islamic countries, as well as many other predominantly religious cultures, it (homosexual behavior) is not tolerated at all. What percentage of the world's population is Islamic, again? At any rate, discrimination against 2% of a population of around 250 million is a sizable group of people, if they all lived in one place, San Francisco, for instance (sorry, magellan) but as widely dispersed around the country as these people are, they enjoy enormous support in light of their relative proportion. Homosexuals have the same exact rights, under the US Constitution as I have, or do any o... Read more

This is a pretty big issue currently, though I don't know how the issue is viewed in other countries. I don't see a good reason to dislike someone due to sexual preference--if it doesn't affect you personally, why would the actions of two consenting adults bother you as long as they don't hurt anyone? You don't have to agree or like what they do, but as long as they're not telling others what to do, why be upset by it? Everyone does something that someone else doesn't like or isn't into, it doesn't mean you should hate them. You don't have to love thy neighbor, just leave the bastard alone.

There is so many really bad things in the world that we should be only happy when someone loves somebody, now matter what sex this person represent.

Well lets see...You have Queer Eye for the Straight Guy,Will and Grace,Ellen Degenerate, and Queer as Folk on the TV.Ian Mckellen, an openly gay man, playing a lead role in one of the biggest motion pictures in history. There are plenty of laws out there prohibiting discrimination in the work place and applying for home loans. To me, the homosexual community has plenty of a voice.

Um....right. Okay, afropath, here I go. (Takes in deap breath to prevent self from reacting violently) The Bible, in its original Greek and Hebrew, does not specifically condemn homosexuality. It condemns male temple prostitutes who engaged in ritual sex; this word, qadesh, is often mistranslated as sodomite or homosexual. There are also three possible committed homosexual relationships in the Bible, the most obviouse one being between Daniel and Ashpenaz. (Source: http://www.worldpolicy.org/globalrights/sexorient/b ible-gay.html#rela) As for the phrase, Vet zachar lo tishkav mishkvei ishah tohevah hee, V'et zachar=and with a male, lo tishkav=not lie down, mishkvei=beds, beds of ishshah=woman, tohevah hee= it is an abomination. One could easily translate this as you shall not lie with a man in the bed of a woman, or dozens of other translations. Other things the Bible says are just as important: Everyone who commits adultery shall be killed, you cannot sow a field with mixed seed, i... Read more

Homosexuals shouldn't have any more rights than murderers. Back in biblical times, we executed a man who slept with another man, we didn't give them civil unions!
