I loved the idea but sadly to say I broke my 3rd one last night. Since last year when I purchsed my first one they have changed the style a bit. The first one broke when the arm workout cord snapped off of it's clip and came flying up and welted the back of my arm - ouch! I was really glad it didn't hit my face. I returned that one and started using the second one w/out the arm bands since I was afraid of them....I just held two wieghts in my hands instead. I used my stepper almost daily and started to notice a squeeking sound. We gave it a good look over and thought all was fine there was nothing loose. Then the main shaft that supported everything snapped or sheared off and down I went. I only weigh 130 lbs but I am telling you I couldn't believe the part that broke. Silly me - addicted to this small work out system....ran out and grabbed up another one.....I noticed they changed it a bit...made it much lighter and less bulky....I had it for a week used it almost daily whe... The size is great, the idea is great, however, the stepper doesn't hold up. I work out reguarly at a gym. I'm one of those people that really enjoy working out. I don't like to sit still, so when I found this I was very excited. "Now I can work out at home too. It's like the stepper I love to use at the gym!", & It almost was until the band popped. The manufacturer were also nice to deal with, and the rushed out replacement band at no additional cost, and I was right back on my stepper in no time, but it popped once again. I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing this equipment.

This machine was great for about a month. While using it the cable that creates the tension snapped, I fell off the steps face forward and nearly smashed my face into the floor. Thank god there wasn't any furniture in front of me. Do not buy would be my advise.

I love the exercise, but the plastic wheel didn't hold up to the pressure. I am going to try a different brand.

I have only used this mini-stepper for a couple of weeks after being a couch potato for several years. I bought it so I could work at home on my time schedule and for as long as I choose. I put it beside my 5' bookshelf and hold onto each side of the bookshelf for stability. I need to hold onto something when I step or I'll get wobbly. It's small enough to travel with, fairly light-weight and easy to use. A little WD-40 solved the squeak problem. I can already feel results from my waist down - I'm tightening up and developing muscle tone. I'll write another review after six months or so, but right now this is a winner as far as I'm concerned. I've given two others out for Christmas/New Year's gifts. CAUTION: This is for WOMEN who weight under 250 lbs. If you are man of any weight, a heavily overweight woman or an advanced exerciser, this is not for you.

I love the idea of having a mini-stepper at home. This one would be ideal for me only if it didn't break so easily. I purchased my second Hers Mini-Stepper less than a month ago and the cable that goes around the pulley broke YET AGAIN!!! That's exactly what happened with the first one. I'm gonna keep looking for a more durable version of this. As for this particular stepper - it's a total waste of money. Poorly made.

I ordered this NEW for my Mother. The box is all beat up, warn and old. It's taped back together and is embarrassing! I can't believe I have to present this to my Mom like this. It's all I got for her, and tomorrow is Xmas. I feel humiliated. I can feel additional humiliation coming on once she opens it. Probably a mess inside too! You've ruined my Xmas.
