Mon Feb 01 2010THESE GUYS PROMISE A WARRANTY ON THEIR WORK IF A PROBLEM ARISES WITHIN 48 HOURS OF THEIR SERVICE DATE. the problem re-appeared the next day. They couldn't fix it and refused to refund the considerable hourly fee they charged my business. the owner became extremely agitated and argumentative when i questioned the warranty policy. NOVER USE THESE THIEVES. YOU CAN DO BETTER GOING TO THE APPLE STORE. THESE GUYS ARE MEAN AND CHARGE FOR DIAGNOSTICS THAT SHOULD BE A PART OF THEIR SERVICE SO THAT THEY KNOW WHAT TO FIX. HOWEVER, THEY COULDN'T FIX ANYTHING THEY PROMISED THEY COULD. LIARS CHEATS & THIEVES

Tue Apr 01 2008Thank you to Mark at HelpMe Computers! I had a simple issue with an easy-to-order part that was damaged. Being a computer neophyte, he could have easily swindled me, but after running their basic diagnostic test, he assured me that I could order the part cheaper directly from the manufacturer (instead of going through his middle-man), and the problem would be resolved (and it is now!). Next time I have a computer problem I will definitely be back. PS: I live nowhere near HelpMe, but it was worth the drive. A friend recommended them to me so I decided to spend the gas money on the car ride vs. take my chances with an unknown place. So glad I did! I've used GeekSquad (Best Buy) in the past. While they did the job, they also tried to sell me on every test, add-on, and feature they could.
