Wed Sep 24 2008The US version was just O.K. The movie was entertaining fluff. The group admits the location filming in the ski resort and the Bahamas was their attempt to squeeze in a much-needed vacation.

Tue Mar 28 2006Usually soundtracks from the 60's were lame, but the Beatles re-wrote the book and put out listenable collections of pop tunes for their movies.

Fri Apr 22 2005The beatles are like the heart of rock...All beatles albums are great...they really are ...really...really really. Really. Bwahaha!

Sat Jan 22 2005I need you is an underrated George song.

Sat Jan 01 2005One of my favorites by them. They could do no wrong by then.Every song on it is a classic.

Mon Nov 01 2004There was two versions of this when it was vinyl. The British and the American. The British version is the one that made it to CD and it is way better. The American version was really more of a sound track while the British version was the actual album. This is the Beatles are the best with the title track and others such as Norwegian wood, make this yet another classic.

Mon Jul 26 2004Not my favorite (the CD issue is MUCH better than the vinyl, at least in the U.S., where they ripped this album apart for release on Capitol). The title track, You've Got to Hide Your Love Away and of course Yesterday can't be matched. But there is too much fluff here (Another Girl, The Night Before).

Thu Jun 03 2004Although Yesterday is extremely overrated and a terribly pessimistic song, there are other great songs on the album such as Help!, Ticket to Ride, and Dizzy Mizz Lizzy that make up for it.

Thu Oct 17 2002It's really hard for me to find a flaw in any of these tracks on the album. By 1965, they were already popular and with this album they were just fortifying their position as legends

Thu Sep 12 2002The Night Before is worth the 5 star rating alone man! What can I say The Beatles are the "never make a dud" band of the universe!!!!

Fri Nov 02 2001This actually is a really good album although it isn't looked on as one of the best of the Beatles' albums. It is about directly in the middle chronologically of the Beatles' enormous success.

Sun Jul 15 2001It's the Beatles what rating would I give it?

Sun Jul 15 2001I think we have 1 person using 4 aliases on here.....(like that wasn't hard to figure out) I'm rating this a 5 just to piss off the 4 stooges.

Sun Mar 18 2001I wasn't a big fan of the movie. The album had a few good tunes.Nothing special here.

Fri Feb 09 2001Why do all these people have something against the Beatles? I pity you. You must be jealous that your favorite group isn't as good or as legendary. I Need You is my favorite off this album. It's a masterpiece by George. He really shows here his writing ability. Saying the Beatles are shallow? I think your shallow, Lou. Anyone who gives this album less than 5 stars needs HELP! (a corny pun) I LOVE GEORGE HARRISON!

Thu Feb 01 2001The movie was so stupid and the music was no better!

Tue Nov 21 2000I'll give them this much, they got the attention of the time. Personally, I don't listen to their music, but I have to give them props for winning the love of the crowd.

Tue Nov 21 2000The music seems to catch you. They do tons of good songs and I was raised with it, so I like it a lot.

Fri Nov 10 2000Their music is original and not like anyone else's style or lyrics. The song is cool.

Fri Oct 20 2000Once again, lame songs dominate this album. Aside from "The Night Before" & "Yesterday", tunes like "I Need You", "Tell Me What You See" & "You're Gonna Lose That Girl" prove how shallow this group really is.

Fri Oct 20 2000OK, why is this album even on the list? This record rates on the same level as something by Milli Vanilli. Phony.

Sat May 06 2000Nothing by the greatest rock and roll band of all time deserves anything less than 4 stars, and this is one of their CD's that deserves a 5.
