One record I've kept over the years and enjoyed very much when in the mood.I believe many or most of the same musicians are also on Hancocks album "Thrust".

Some people only know Herbie from the Head Hunters era, and mainly because this is the album that broke all the rules of Jazz and was embraced on mainstream radio. With it's contagious funk beats and enough Jazz to satisfy even the casual Jazz fan, this one will go down in the history books as Herbie's mainstream masterpiece!
