He voted against the war in Iraq

That was the voice of reason talking...

He certainly never supported the Iraq War, but that doesn't make him a pacifist by a long shot. Obama supports a troop increase in Afghanistan for nation-building purposes, he supports unilateral raids into Pakistan, which could very well destabilize the entire political situation in South Asia. Obama would put troops on the ground in southern Sudan and possibly even in the Caucasus. In the case of Afghanistan, I simply cannot support the notion that putting in more troops will stabilize the place. History should be our guide here. Alexander the Great invaded Afghanistan and was routed by those mountain tribes, the British did the same in the 1840's and got routed, the Russians invaded in the 1980's, and they weren't able to hold their positions. The USSR almost bankrupted itself fighting a war there. We cannot fall into the same trap; that country is impossible to control from a strategic standpoint due to social and topographical reasons. As has been pointed out, Obama never voted against this war because he was not in the Senate at the time. He has however repeatedly said that he would have voted against it. Despite this, he has voted (at least) twice to continue funding operations there. He has done so while on the stump claiming that he would pull the troops out within 16 months of taking office. He later changed this to 19 months. He then said that he would listen to the Generals on the ground. Now, it is just...generically..."I will get us out of Iraq".

He never voted against this or any other war, though he would vote against any and every war.  It's all about judgment.  Had he been president, he would have eschewed the surge and secured surrender for our military.  Will he really do anything different "when" he's the Commander-In-Chief?  Nothing, in the world, is worth fighting for?  This is an American?

He is such a coward in not admitting publicly that he was wrong regarding the surge of troops that have brought stability in Iraq.

There was a good reason for that. He had enough sense to know we shouldn't have been there in the first place. Just like he said, we should have been after Bin Laden all along. But instead, there has literally been billions of dollars going into a war we should have never gotten involved with.

Probably one of the best reasons to vote for him. Hillary still hasn't really disavowed her support of this obscene travesty.

I suspect that for every vote this has cost him, this has gained him two or three.

I'm surprised this item was not on the list already. If you believe George W. Bush has a red hotline phone for conversations with God, then voting against the US invading Iraq might be a big deal for you, because it went against George W. Bush's wishes.
