Hardees Food is not something I would encourage anyone to eat...but its not all about their Food...I choose to eat at locations that treat their employees with Respect and Ethical Behaviors, and I have come to learn, that Hardees is the worse for Employee's. I would NEVER work at such a location, more less eat there. I have seen General Managers get off the Lazy butts occasionally and come out and be disrespectful to the Hourly and Salary Managers in the Public eyes. I heard one Manager ask to eat something cause their blood Sugars was falling, and she was turned down by the General Manager, even when I was the only one in the Restuarant. It made me furious. Their is Laws concerning this situation, it Falls under the Disability act in our Country. I would NEVER WORK or EVER EAT THERE AGAIN. This place is not about treating customers with respect...its not about serving good food, and it is not about Family or individuals trying to make life easier for their families...its about money ... Believe it or not Hardee's actually had good food back in the late 80's and early 90's. Over time the quality went down hill and the last time I ate there I got a horrific stomach ache. I don't know how these people stay in business. The location near me is always empty because no one eats there anymore.

I rarely eat this kind of food, but today I was out X-mas shopping and I started to feel my blood sugar dropping, so I figured that before I got into a fight with a total stranger over a parking space or some wingnut woman talking on her cell phone and staggering like a drunk in front of me, I’d better get a bite to eat. The first place I came across was Hardee’s, so in I went. I ordered a thing called the monster thickburger with cheese and a medium drink. I know I may tick off you hardcore Hardee’s fans by saying this, but, my god, this was simply awful food! The burger was soggy, greasy and bland. The meat was dense and chewy, but not a good chewy, it made me think that it came from a sick cow that had been slaughtered at the end of its useful life. The only flavor in this mash-up came from the cheese. And that medium drink? It was more like a quart tankard. And I saw people getting refills, in December! No wonder everyone is so d**n fat in the country. You eat this swine feed and y... Read more

i was in the attalla location this past sunday and got the worst biscuit and gravy that i have ever seen. i was so disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. they did not even have fountain drinks available. i will think carefully about going there again. Jacks has questionable food but they are at least concistant.

WTF happened to their fried chicken? it was better than KFC...As for their burgers, yes they are meaty and large but because of all the sauce on them the freakin' burger slides around and drips all over you and they never put napkins in the bag.  Then there's their fries. meh, 4 stars i guess.  They're good, but nothing to drool over.  Until they bring back fried chicken I will never give them a proper rating.

While Hardee's may have had its problems in the 90's, they are now one of THE best fast-food restaurants to go to when you want a burger. I don't eat at McD's or Burger King anymore, just Hardee's and a local burger joint. You get much more for your buck, and nothing is as good as a grilled sourdough burger.

Im sorry, but they have the best fast food burgers PERIOD, regardless of how dumpy their locations are.  One in Dothan just rennovated.  Oh and btw, if you want health food, then eat at a smoothie shop, as this is fast food so stop already with the health lectures people.    If you can find a modern Hardee's then you will enjoy the heck out of their thickburgers.  Yes their the most expensive and highly fattening, but why do you think?  Its all ANGUS beef, which no other fast food chain offers and they dont spare the flavor.  Thankfully Carls Jr who is the parent company of Hardee's emailed me that all the hardees in the South will be totally updated by mid-2010... then it can compete bigtime!

The Hardee's in Newnan, Georgia is dirty, some not all employees are rude, the food has absolutely NO consistency in quality -- rudeness seems to be tolerated even with complaints to corporate -- they offer no follow-up with complaints -- store telephone no. on hardee's receipt is NEVER answered -- i have not been there for 4 months, and never will again !!! That's a real shame since i really miss there menu, and there is no other hardee's nearby ... THANX CRAPPY HARDEE'S OF NEWNAN GEORGIA !!!

Vomitburgers! This whole franchise sucks! If I want to blow 10 bucks on a burger and fries for lunch I would expect better than this! Institutional grade slop! I have had high school cafeteria burgers that tasted better than this!

When I lived out in Arizona as another poster mentioned they were called Carls Jr. They didnt seem to be suffering out there at all. The Hardees name in the Midwest is dying or becoming Carls Jr. It is my understanding that Carls Jr has bought the Hardees franchise and it is a slow but sure transition that all of the Hardees that exist will sooner or later be a Carls Jr. Maybe all the talk about seeing so many Hardees close down is due to that and will later be replaced with a Carls and a newer better building. They are working their way east so see what happens. As far as my gripes its basically the the ridiculous prices. 6 bucks for a drivethru burger is bullshit. I mean its ok to offer that to the customer that wants to spend that much but the whole fucking menu is now a high dollar nightmare. You can't get out of that place without spending close to ten bucks on one meal. The good old 99 cent burgers are gone. Most the Carls Jrs I were in out west were all clean and kept up ver... After being mistreated, threatened and harassed late at night by an irate district manager I want to let people know to watch out for the Hardees stores operated by franchise owner Jerry Landis in eastern and central Ohio. I understand he also owns the quiznos franchises around the state as well. I want to point out that I and members of my outdoors club used to eat at hardees about once a week. That's 20 guys ordering roughly 2 sandwiches a piece, or approximately $200 each time we walk in, usually more than that. So we spend approximately $10,000 a year in that store and have never had a problem until recently. We can hardly be called problem customers. I recently had the displeasure of having the same order screwed up in exactly the same way at two different hardees locations within an hour of each other. I was driving eastwards, went to one hardees, and found they had put mayo on all the sandwiches when told not to. We were still hungry and have always had good luck with hardee... Read more

They no longer have any Hardees in cincinnati, ohio but I kinda miss them. They were good years ago but went downhillin the late 90s. they have hardees in tennessee that flame broil their burgers like the king, but for some reason they never had that here. I liked the flame broiled ones, and always hoped they would start doing that here, instead they closed them all.

HARDEE'S IS GREAT, I LOVE THAT PLACE. IT'S THE EXACT EAST COAST EQUIVALENT TO THE CARL'S JR RESTAURANTS ON THE WEST COAST. THE BURGERS ARE MARVELOUS. EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE ITEMS ON THIER MENU FOR THE HEALTH CONSCIOUS CUSTOMER, I BELEIVE ITS BEST TO LET A BURGER BE FATNING LOL, AFTER ALL IT'S NOT LIKE WE'RE TALKING ABOUT EATING THERE ON AN EVERYAY BASIS, SO GO AHEAD AND ENJOY YOURSELF NOW. FEEL GUILTY AND EXERCISE LATER IF IT'S THAT CRITICAL FOR YOU LOL. CHECK OUT BOTH WEBSITES TO SEE WHAT I MEAN...FOR CARL'S JR IT'S: WWW.BURGERS.COM, AND FOR HARDEE'S IT'S: WWW.HARDEES.COM

I find this place good, but not the best place. But the reason why I give this place a 5 is that they bring the food to you when you're sitting down. I like their breakfast menu and the Roast Beef sandwiches, especially their fries. and spellbound571969, i don't have one favorite ffc.UPDATE: I just read that their Monster thickburger has lots of calories and carbs, possibly more fat than you average big mac.

About 3 years ago, I rated Hardee's a 1. At that time, I slammed their food and vowed that it would be a very, very long time before I ate there again. Well, I recently returned to Hardee's to sample one of these Thickburgers I've heard so much about. I ordered the 6-Dollar Burger, and I must say that I was very impressed. Everything, including the meat, toppings, and bread, tasted fresh and made-to-order. The service was much improved (quicker, nicer) from my previous visits. And, these good points have stayed consistent upon 3 additional visits in the last few weeks. Now, for a couple of nit-picks. One, Hardee's absolutely has to do something about the cleanliness of their restaurants. I still notice in the locations near me an inordinate amount of trash on the floor and flies buzzing around the dining area. This much hasn't improved over the last 3 years. And two, I'm seeing more and more Hardee's locations close down in my area (metro Atlanta). That can't be a good sign... Read more

Poor Hardees.. they have tried so many menu changes and advertising campaigns the last few years. but nothing is working and the chain continues to become extinct. The food is no better or worse than any of the other fast-food holes, but for some reason. people just do not go to Hardees.

I used to love hardee's. I used to go all the time to get the old Monster Roast Beef. And then they went and changed the menu, and didn't have that sandwich. Well, I just went today to get me a roast beef sandwich, because I love hardee's roast beef, and I found out that they no longer serve the roast beef. Now, that just makes me mad. When they stopped making the monster roast beef, it was no big deal cause I could add the cheese and bacon. Now, I can't even do that. So, instead, I went and got a double cheeseburger from mcdonalds for only a buck. I guess thats where I will be eating when I do eat out.

Ok, I cannot speak for the Hardee's in other towns, but the Hardee's here is great. When I've tried their Angus burger, I was hooked. In fact, for a while I lost all interest in other burgers. I just couldn't taste them. Also, their spicy curly fries are my favorite fries of all time. The Frisco burger isn't bad either. What other fast-food restaurant offers sourdough breaded burgers? My only reservation about giving a five star is the commercials and the price. I do kinda understand that they have to be a little more expensive than other restaurants because of their new thickburgers. However, their commercials are inexcusable. They're condenscending because they try to manipulate their potential customers by presenting an image of what people who eat at Hardee's shouldn't be. Only manly men/women should eat at our restaurant. I know they're not trying to limit their range of customers. They just want people to think that their burgers are soooo big that only a real man could finish it... Read more

Hey i aggree burgers are good. I say the spicy chicken sandwich aslo good, its pretty equivalent to wendys when maid right. The fries are ok, but noone can beat mcdonalds. The only con is they could be a little cleaner so thats why I gave them a four star and not a five. All in all definetly come back if you havent been in a while, their new menu has some pretty good stuff!

I like the new burgers, 100% Angus beef, which tastes much like when you throw burgers on the grill at home. In other words, it actually tastes like MEAT, and it's actually because it IS meat in this case. I buy the roast beef sandwich only when it is 99 cents (its 40 miles to the nearest Arby's for better roast beef, so I deal) because I am disappointed to always get yukky buns. The meat seems like it's fresh, so why is the bun soggy ? I'm confused. I don't usually go to a place for a meal, I just get a sandwich, so I can't say much about the fries, salads, etc. I DO love the seasoned curly fries though, if they have them I might get them now and then. My local Hardee's has decent service, some friendly people, some ambivilent, but none are really mean or dirty. If you work at Hardee's I'd think it's hard to be happy.

Actually, Hardee's hamburgers are quite decent--the six-dollar burger is an inspired piece of marketing, but the rest of the menu is mediocre at best. The french fries are especially bad--tasteless and thin, they do not resemble a potato product.

Hardee's half pound burger is awesome, it 100% USDA Angus beef, this is the real stuff here kiddies, probably the best fast food burger I have tasted, doesn't even taste like fast food to me. This is a fairly new item on the menu, they improved so much on this....I also like the frisco burger, but it's no Half pounder....
