After being sick with uncontrollable diarrhea for days (intermittent diarrhea for 3 months), I finally figured out it was the food. I switched from another holistic food which will remain nameless (rhymes with True Muffalo) to halo spot's stew kibble, and within 24 hours, my dobie was having normal stools. He loves it. He eats it like I poured him a bowl full of his treats. He has never been this excited for meal time. He goes crazy if I ask him if he's hungry. Thank you Halo. I will never feed my pup anything else.

I have tried a ton of different dog foods and there are some others that have worked for my dog, however, trying to find a good dog food for a dog with allergies is the most difficult thing. I actually have two dogs, one a 7 year old pom and the other a 1 year old terrier mix. The terrier mix is the one with the allergies. I have tried foods like Eukanuba, Pinnacle, Blue Buffalo, Orijen, and so on and have had ok results but my terrier still continued to itch and have one spot on his belly where he would itch so much the spot would scab. My first thought was that my terrier had a skin condition so after clearing him at the vet I discovered that is was the food. When I try diffierent foods, with the correct transition, some foods give him alittle relief and some dont so my thoughts are accurate. I did have him on Blue Buffalo Wilderness Salmon, which he was doing great on but he stopped liking to eat it, which is very odd because he will eat anything. So, I was searching for a good food... My dogs loved all the canned flavors. No problems from it at all. This company stands out in quality and you can't beat their informative website and if you sign up for the newsletter they send coupons regularly! I was going to try the dry puppy, but last time I went to petco they were out so I stuck with what my baby's been on(innova puppy). But I would have no problem trying it in the future. I also used the multivitamin supplement for my older dogs and they didn't mind the taste mixed into their food. It's got a consistancy like gravy and seemed to work well. Excellent product line in my opinion!

my dogs are raw fed, but on the very rare occasion that I have to board them (most boarding facilities will not feed raw food) this is what we use. it's all natural, human grade foods processed in a USDA kitchen; this absolutely the best canned food you can feed. my dogs love it, and I've never had any problems with them going from raw food to this, and back again.

After constant bouts with veterinary medicine and the treatment of possible colitis to gastrointestinal to anal sac problems, I decided that my dogs diet needed a change from the Prescription Diet, antibiotics, and various other medications that were only temporary fixes and resuted in very expensive vet office visits. To this day, 7 years later, my dog is healthy and has only been to the vet for scheduled visits and an extrememly rare need for treatment for anxiety induced vomiting. SPOTS STEW IS WONDERFUL AND I THINK THAT HALO PRODUCTS ARE APPEALING TO BOTH HUMANS AND CANINES ALIKE.

This product is the next best thing to making your own homemade dog food. I have been using this product for my two small dogs since April and my dogs' allergies have been relieved. No more skin irritations. Wonderful product! Is not affected by recall because it doesn't use any fillers.
