Sat May 23 2009They are slowly becoming neutral in showing dramas and sitcoms. Before, it was mostly a dramas channel. Plus, they have recently added two of my favorite shows ... "I Love Lucy" and "The Golden Girls". How can you go wrong with those? :-D

Tue Sep 23 2008I love the Hallmark channel, it is a family oriented channel. I was so glad when they put Touched By an Angel back on. I would like to see Promised Land put on this channel.

Mon Jun 18 2007I want to know why you have taken The Waltons off and Touched by an Angel off? I watched them every day and now you have put murders and mysteries in their place. I'm very disgusted with your line up and I hope you can put these two back where they were.

Mon May 17 2004As a big Perry Mason fan, I'm glad to see a channel that airs the original episodes. They also have a Perry Mason movie on Monday night, too. Any channel that does that get a big thumbs up from me!

Thu Nov 20 2003The line-up is ok and they show some good original movies. Sunday night is the best with Mystery Sunday because they show classic detective shows such as Kojak, McCloud, McMillian & Wife, The Equalizer and Quincy.

Mon Jun 30 2003I was really looking forward to the addition of The Lucy Show but it looks like Hallmark is staying with dramas and westerns in their rerun lineup. Other than Bewitched, My Three Sons and I Dream of Jeannie, their sitcoms kind of came and went, like Facts of Life (VERY quickly), Hogan's Heroes, The Beverly Hillbillies, etc. Now they have 4 count em, 4 hours of Perry Mason every day! I tape the Big Valley and The Waltons Monday to Friday, used to tape Perry Mason, and now also Wagon Train on Saturday evenings at 6pm. I thought for sure the four hours of Perry Mason would disappear after a short time but they are still there, I guess the ratings justify it. They had Alfred Hitchcock Hour between midnight and 3am on Saturday nights but got rid of that in less than 10 weeks. Guess the ratings weren't that good. When they had their survey I was hoping shows such as Our Miss Brooks, The Mod Squad and Phil Silvers would begin but they have not, unless Hallmark plans to stretch out th... Read more

Sat Apr 26 2003Another fallen station! Months ago, they were full of great comedies that came on everyday: I Dream of Jeannie, Gomer Pyle, Hogan's Heroes, Facts of Life. And, now, its the Western Network. It shows the excellent comedies only ONCE a week, early Saturday mornings. I have to give it props for showing the classic drama, "Quincy", however. They also previously said that "The Lucy Show" and "Mork and Mindy" would join their lineup. But, they are nowhere to be seen. They also show the occaisonal good movie, however.

Fri Feb 07 2003The Hallmark Channel offers a huge variety of programming (many of them are classic TV favorites), rated either G or PG. Also, you don't have to worry about looking away from the commercials, because even they're clean (but quite long). There is something for every taste here: comedies, dramas, westerns, mysteries; the list goes on. They also change their programming around and add a few different shows every so often. Many people think that this station is "low-budget", but I honestly don't see that. I'll admit that it was at one time, but not anymore. Hallmark has come a long way from what it was about four years ago (when it was called Odyssey). People really ought to give this station a chance.

Fri Feb 15 2002A good, solid variety of television shows, many of them sitcoms....but the quality of the network is pretty bad...it freezes occasionally, and breaks up into halves sometimes.
