Halbleib's Auto Body

Got forced into dealing with this place in June of last year. Flash floods ruined my car along with many others in the city. The tow truck operators that work with these people were an absolute nightmare, hooked up my car without my permission, towed it up a hill and left it on the truck's hook. Came back and told me that he "owned" my car until I paid the tow bill, and he was taking it to "his yard" (Halbleib's). Did this to an elderly couple that was having dinner at a diner along side us. Both the couple and I had AAA coming to tow, and he took both cars without permission. He argued with me and with the couple saying again that we would not get the cars back until we paid him. I called 911 to report him for "auto theft". The city police called him over to where they were and he returned and apologized, saying that it wouldn't cost anyone anything above what the insurance would pay, and they would put me in a rental at what insurance paid. Stay away from these people. I sincerely doubt that they have any technical auto repair training. They will work on your car and you will see the work unravel before your eyes. Spend the extra money and get it done by someone competent. After they screw you they try to sue you! Stay clear!

I really doubt I'll be there again and will never recomend Halbleib's Auto Body to anyone. I've had two vehicles repaired at halbleib's shop. I had the best experience ever at a body shop with these guys both times. All the employee's were very kind and professional. The jobs were very thorough, and finished in a speedy manor. I was given a rental car upon arrival and was kept well informed of my vehicles progress. This is the only body shop i will ever use again, and i live forty minutes from it. Keep up the good work, and thanks again!!!

The guys at Halbleib's are great! We have all of our cars serviced at the shop, and have always had positive results. Prices are fair, and work is done efficiently and in a timely manner. We have recommended them to family and friends, and they have the same results. Shop is easy to get to from all locations of the city too.

When I was in my accident 2 weeks ago my car was towed here. I was skeptical at first but when they called me they were very kind and willing to accomadate me in any way. So I decided to let them fix my car. Come to find out I didnt have rental coverage on my insurance policy so they even gave me a free rental car delivered right to my house no questions asked. Thank god for that because i would have had no way to get to work. It took about a week for the insurance co. to look at my vehicle and appraise the damage and about another week to repair my car. that was fast considering my last accident took a little over a month at the chevy dealer. But now about the repairs on my vehicle, my car looks great, drives great, and they even cleaned the car inside and out. I also wanted to make sure everything was good so I stopped at the dealer where I bought my car and asked them to check the whole car out. They didnt find any thing wrong my car. I got in an accident and my truck was towed here. They put me right into a nice rental car and i was on my way. When my truck was done they called me and delivered it right to me and picked up the rental. My truck looks really good. The paint work is beautiful. All of my freinds compliment on how nice of work was done. One freind had a bad experience at another shop last year and said he would go to Halbleibs if it ever happened again. Oh I almost forgot they saved half of my deductible. That really helped especially with the way everything is right now. Thanks and great job.

I highly recommend this repair shop, they have repaired my vehicle numerous times. The repairs were done very well and was very pleased with all the paint work and repairs performed to the vehicles. Very easy to deal with, and have always made my life easier especially after damage to any vehicle is a headache to begin with! Also I have always had my vehicles repaired very quickly. And the same goes for friends vehicles that I have recommended to go to this repair facility. Two thumbs up!

I've been a customer with them for 5 years and they do all my mechanic and collision work. I referred all of my family and friends to them. I've had 3 cars repaired here and couldn't be happier with their work. I've had work done at other shops and had horrible service. Glad I found Halbleib's! I won't go anywhere else. I know when I take my car their I won't have any problems. Would Definately Recommend! You won't be disappointed.

I recommend them to all my friends and family. They do great work! Prices are extremely fair. They have saved me part of my deductible and have even given some of my friends free rentals.

My car was taken to Halbleib's after an accident and it has been a total nightmare! I've had to send it to them twice -- three times if you count the time I sent it back because the doors wouldn't lock anymore. The first time I got it back, I nearly ran my car off the road because of how badly they'd butchered the steering. My insurance company told me I had to give them the opportunity to fix it, so I did -- now, after a month of being in the shop, my car was returned to me with some things fixed and a whole laundry list of new problems! To "make up" for royally screwing up the first time, they painted over a couple of scratches. Though I appreciate the gesture, if given a choice between a working car and a pretty car, I'd go with one I can actually drive without fearing for my safety!

I HAVE HAD MY CAR FIXED TWICE NOW THRO THEM AND THEY ARE VERY KIND AND HELPED ME GET ON MY WAY QUICKLY AND ON MY TIME WORK WAS DONE RIGHT AND I WOULD EVEN SEND MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS TO THEM KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK N ILL KEEP COMING BACK

Poor workmanship, bad repair work.....I would not go back to this shop and do not recommend them to anyone...they have extremely High rates, slow work...

EXCELLENT WORK IN A TIMELY FASHION! THEY DELIVERED MY RENTAL CAR AND HANDLED EVERYTHING FOR ME. WHEN MY CAR WAS FINISHED IT WAS DELIVERED TO ME AND MY RENTAL CAR WAS PICKED UP. I DID NOTHING BUT WRECK MY CAR.
