I've gone to Guaranteed Auto Service with van 2 times once on an transmission rebuild and once on a valve job on my van. They worked with me on payments I didn't have the money to pay for all the repairs at once. My van has been running good since. I also sent them a couple of co-workers that seemed happy with the repairs in general. The only set back that I can give this company is that its quite a distant from my home. Other than that I've been very happy with the overall experience at the shop.

REALLY BAD PLACE. You must proceed with caution. I brought in my 2004 Volvo CX70 for a transmission rebuild. Except for the problems with reverse slipping, the car was in perfect running order and is regularly maintained. They said it would be 3 days, and it took a month. Every excuse and lie you can think of. Now, my car "bangs" down into gear when it down shifts, has an exhaust leak and loss of power, AND the transmission now slips. They are now offering to fix the car properly, but after approx. 40 phone calls and over 3 weeks of "tomorrows" to get my car back, there is no way I want to bring it back to them to fix. I got it back the first time and it was running like a tractor; the mechanic had just taken it for a spin and said that all was fine...he didn't notice?! They then acknowledged that they had aciidentally broken a position sensor harness, which was the cause. They did repair that, but 15 minutes after leaving with my car the following week...the slipping, etc. WOW. This... Read more
