Survivor really needs more people like Greg. He and Gretchen were great, because they both had outdoor skills and didn't flip out every time they were irritated. His humor and interaction with other Pagong members was a welcome relief from the constantly plotting and bickering Tagi tribe. Rich correctly assessed how much of a threat Greg and Gretchen were, because they both got the boot right after the merge.

Seeing the Survivor One episodes again, I again thought that Greg was great!! He was fun to watch and enjoyed his time on the island. I thought it was alot of editing that caused many to believe that he was just a psycho. If you remember correctly, when the tribes merged he did recognise that Rich was playing harder than anyone else and was sizing him up very well. He may have acted stupid but he did attempt to form a friendship with Rich knowing that Rich was the leader of the group. I personally felt that he was the only Pagong that actually Got It. Too bad they booted him so fast, and that he did not begin to realize that his way of playing the game without alliences would do him in. He did size up Rich and the rest of Tagi quickly and I thought that he did seem to plan to make alliences right off the bat during the merge.. Another unfortunate part of his plan was that he seemed to cause Rich to be the winner based on his number question. After all, he wanted Kelly and Rich to pick ... Read more

OMG, he was so annoying. He was just looking for some camera time. I would be scared if I would be on an island with that guy. Talking into a coconut and all that. Way to freaky for my taste. I really think he was terrible.

During the show, he was one of my favorites. He is absolutely hilarious. But i believe, he didn't want the publicity or osmething cause i think I remeber that he refused to do the Early Show Interview but not sure.

Right. Let's try to be weird just for weirdness' sake. Most people grow out of such attention-seeking behaviour like making phone calls with a coconut shell. He wasn't clever, and he wasn't funny. Mental illness is nothing to laugh at.

Greg was definitely weird, but that is what I liked. I personally thought he was hillarious. Trully wish he had lasted longer.

The closest person to a cartoon character on the island. Speaking of island, he would make a pretty fair Gilagan. Who else would fit in?

Greg, you were a nut! Completely goofy the whole time... must've thought this was a comedy program! By the way, I wonder if those nature phones are for sale.... I liked your attitude toward the whole show, not taking it too seriously, just having fun the whole time, helped make the show more fun to watch!

Greg is an interesting person. I like the way he thinks and he was very funny at times. He also got to sleep with a cutie like Colleen. :-)

I think Greg would have made it futher once the tribes merged but the alliance saw him a a threat, just like they did Gretchen.

Greg seemed intelligent (Ivy League man), funny, and he was easy on the eyes. He would have been one of my picks to win.

He could be funny, I didn't quite know what to make of him. I respect him though for his decision not to capitolize on his fame by not appearing on Letterman or the Today show, however I would have liked to have seen him again.

Greg, I think, is my favorite Survivor castaway, because he refuses to take any of it seriously. Which appears to piss off Jeff Probst, the straight-laced host (who I keep expecting to see in a pith helmet). Greg has a great, sarcastic sense of humor, and I think his constant stream of smart-ass remarks are lost on most people. CBS really played up that whole thing where he talked about Colleen as his "little kitten" and said in this cut-throat world he would look his kitten in the eye and break its neck. But he joked about that with Colleen, too - he's just trying to get a rise out of people. When he was booted off the island, I got a kick out of both his fake weeping and his strange final rant, where he talked in a mock-paranoid way about unseen forces closing in from all around the island. For Greg, the whole "Survivor" thing is a big goof with a national audience.
