Thu Mar 10 2011I don't like this team. They are my enemy against our home state.

Fri Jan 14 2011UPDATED JANUARY 14, 2011:A Green Bay Packers Fan is drinking in a New York bar when he gets a call on his cell phone. He hangs up, grinning from ear to ear, and orders a round of drinks for everybody in the bar, announcing his wife has produced a typical Green Bay baby boy weighing 25 pounds. Nobody can believe that any new baby can weigh in at 25 pounds, but the Packer Fan just shrugs, "That's about average back home, folks, like I said, my boy's a typical Green Bay baby boy.Congratulations showered him from all around, and many exclamations of "WOW!". One woman actually fainted due to sympathy pains. Two weeks later, he returns to the bar. The bartender says, "Say, you're the father of that typical Green Bay baby that weighed 25 pounds at birth. Everybody's been making bets about how big he'd be in two weeks."So how much does he weigh now?"The proud father answers, "Seventeen pounds."The bartender is puzzled, concerned, and a little suspicious. "What happened? He already weighed 25... Read more

Mon Dec 06 2010Green Pay has a great reputation on the field and off. They display a lot of community work from the players and a huge response from the fans.

Sat May 23 2009Another team with the traditional look, but could use some touch up.

Wed Oct 08 2008What's not to like about green & gold?
by dtoshb1c
Tue Aug 26 2008The green uniforms should have yellow numbers and names with a white outline. The whit numbers and names don't match anything. The white ones should have a green name and number and a yellow outline. Also maybe green pants with yellow stripes might look okay with the white jerseys.

Sat May 03 2008I think that the packers will win about 7 games because they lost the best quarterback in history but the only way they can win next season is by their defense.

Wed Feb 13 2008How can anyone think that Green and yellow is a good combination? It is not a duplicated combination in any sport except for Baylor and Oregon...that has to tell you something.

Mon May 28 2007Pretty classic...no complaints. Could wear alternate yellow jerseys with green pants. just a thought...

Sun Aug 13 2006When will people accept the fact that Brett Favre cannot make a terrible team good. He has a good number 2 wide out trying to play as a number 1, a decent 3 trying to play as a number 2, a young inexperienced line, a runningback on the decline of his career, and to boot the team is soft and weak on defense. Favre is a hall of fame quarterback, but his actions this off season were selfish and he needs to accept that his presence will maybe win this team an extra 2 games. This team will not be a playoff team for A MINIMUM of 3 years from now. Let Aaron Rodgers start getting the crap knocked out of him now so he'll get used to it.

Sun Dec 18 2005Bad season, still a great franchise.
by denvercheesehe_ad
Mon Dec 12 2005Sure they suck this year and are now 3 and 10. And although Favre fans will not want to hear this, Favre is done and should be sitting the bench, at least give Rodgers some playing time. Despite their record, this young and injure-riddled team has played hard in every game against both good and bad teams. They have not been blown out and the players seem to like Sherm and now Bates. I say they still have a bright future if they can keep players healthy as their offensive line and overall defense keep getting better. Finally, Gado could have a great career at Lambeau. He certainly has helped me on my fantasy team!

Tue Nov 08 2005Can you believe that the Packers are 1-7, but have Outscored their opponents?? How does this happen - well their one win was a blowout, 52-3 against New Orleans, and most of their losses were by just a few points. In fact I believe their biggest loss of the year was by 10. In a sport with only 16 games, there's such a small margin of error and a few close losses will keep you out of the hunt. In a baseball season a team of Green Bay's caliber would be a 500 level ballclub at worse. Too bad one of Favres' final years is going to be a washout.

Fri Oct 14 2005The Packers D is just getting started. Watch out for them in the Playoffs.

Fri Sep 30 2005The green jersey's look better. I love tradition and this is probably one the uniform's that if changed would incite riots. But still, wouldn't it be awesome to see them use a modern uniform for a game or two, just like some team's use drastically different throwback unis? Variety is the spice of life.

Mon Sep 26 20050-3? Lets get with the program guys. They could be good, but they're not. It's not Bret's fault either, don't even try. His experience is that of a man who has never done anything else with his life but play football. Seriously, get with the program. I am not a packer fan, but I do live in Wisconsin, where Packers Reviews come in more than people go to bars. Reasonably, despite the 0-3 season, I think the Packers are and always were a fairly solid team, although there are barely any excuses for losing to these teams like they did. Focus Bret, get in the game, and show them why your a future hall of famer.

Fri Sep 09 2005the Green Bay packers are the best team ever.
by kirk_roebuck
Thu Sep 08 2005The helmet is perfect-should never change. the 60s style jersey stripes should come back. They had the 5-stripe style in the mid 90s when they became a contender again and won the superbowl, then switched to 3 stripes, lost the superbowl and haven't been back since. Also, the stiped socks should make a comeback.

Sat Aug 20 2005I agree with kimbull that Jim Bates is an excellent D coordinator, but his defenses have always had talent, whereas that seems to be exactly what the Packers lack. Add to that their losses on the o-line and you could see why there's a bit of a murky situation for the Pack. To make things worse, both Minnesota and Detroit appear to be much improved this offseason. The increased competition in the division hurts them. They could have several players step up on defense and drag them into the playoffs, but it'll more than likely take another year or two for Mr. Bates to get his defense rolling. Even Gunther Cunningham, one of the most consistant and dominate defensive coordinators of the mid-to-late 90s couldn't turn around the Chiefs in one season. The same goes for Bates. Give it a year at least for their defense to develop, and by then their offense will probably completely go to pot. They're going to have to rely on developing their own o-linemen quickly for the sake of future seasons,... Read more

Fri Aug 05 2005They have Jim Bates as defensive coordinator. If he can do what he has always done, (have a defense in the top ten) this team could be good - REAL GOOD.

Thu Jul 21 2005Ah, as bad and depressing as last season was, I can't not like them. However, if they don't go and win the Superbowl this year, my feelings are likely to change, because there's no denying it, once Farve's gone, yes, all hope is lost. Hey, go Packers!
by gb4life
Tue Apr 26 2005Without them there might not even be the NFL, they are the oldest and most important team in football history. They have sold out every game since the early 60's, can any other team match that?

Fri Apr 22 2005I usually like the classics, but man thats just ugly.
by orville1339
Fri Feb 11 2005Very nice, classic looking uniform. The only thing that I would modify would be to add some green to the road unis. I would add green pants to go with the white shirts and gold helmet. I know that might seem wrong because the Packer uniforms have remained by and large unchanged but I think it would be a great update and not too extreme. Love the simple G logo.
by nomoreitalicnu_mbers
Fri Feb 11 2005Just because a uni's been around a long time without change doesn't make it great. I hate new uniforms, but I hate these two. The color scheme and logo is ugly. If they were first introduced this year, no one would like them.

Thu Feb 10 2005An exceptional, classic, flawless uniform. Minor changes to sleeve striping over the years, plus a brief episode of number patches worn on the hips, have not diminished the look one bit. Every football fan should go to a game in Green Bay once in his life; it's a unique and incomparable experience.

Sun Dec 19 2004My fave for a long time, win lose or draw. Go Packers! :) UPDATE: Denver, you forget one factor: Cheeseheads prefer it cold, no matter who's been at the helm, or on the field. Now that snow's here to stay, go Pack go! Don't listen to the unknowing naysayers!
by jeckmccall
Tue Nov 30 2004One of the best uniforms in football. They could not do anything to make them look better, and the colors are some of the most original in football. The emblem is also great I don't think a piece of cheese on the helmet would look better than the G. But all these college teams need to quit copying it.
by starnikita
Tue Nov 30 2004YUK!! PUKE! So terrible they are hard to watch. And I like the team. Believe that. But those Uniforms are hard to look at.
by beelzebub
Tue Nov 30 2004A once-great, dynastic team, fallen on hard times. So sad. Still, I'll throw them a three-star bone.
