Thu Jan 06 2011Not a bad fruit. Comes in a variety. Tastes great when frozen, and is used to make one of my favorite beverages: wine.

Wed Nov 17 2010Grapes are OK.Some are really good, others, bitter, too fleshy or dissapointing somehow.I think they're good for fermenting,if nothing else...

Fri Nov 05 2010I will never ever for the life of me understand how anyone can dislike grapes. You can't just have one grape. You need to eat a whole bunch. Great fruit. The red ones are far better.

Fri Jun 05 2009Good, but not my favorate. I can't stand when they get all soft.

Fri Jun 05 2009I'll go for that -- if they're plump and juicy!

Wed Feb 18 2009Grapes can be great, but I need them to be firm. Once they start going a bit soft, they are as worthless to me as raisins.

Sat Feb 07 2009I love them all

Wed Jan 28 2009I like purple grape juice more than I like eating the actual grapes, but grapes are pretty good.

Wed Jan 28 2009Of all the fruits that have been grown throughout history there probably aren't any other fruits or many foods for that matter that have had the worldwide cultural impact of the grape. They're great as a snack and great in many dishes but we all know why these little berries are so vital to the culinary world. Wine has the ability to bring people together. It's more than a simple drink, the cultural ramifications of wine stretch back for millenia and we owe all of our gratitude to this humble vine.

Wed Oct 01 2008Seedless grapes are one of the most convenient fruits: small, bite-sized pieces, and nothing to get rid of when you're done. Pretty tasty, but not as much so as other fruits, imo. It's all about the convenience.

Wed Sep 17 2008The combination of crunchy texture and dry, sweet, tart flavor has made grapes an ever popular between meal snack as well as a refreshing addition to both fruit and vegetable salads.

Sun Sep 07 2008Love grapes.....the seedless are good but also grew up on concord grapes....with the skin and seeds....they are always sweet where the seedless can be sour sometimes
by kat9424

Thu Sep 04 2008I really like grapes, but I just bought some the other day; the big ones were really good, but when I came to the smaller ones in the batch they were very sour. Kind of ruined the whole thing for me.

Sun Jul 20 2008Grapes are okay, but definately not my favorite fruit to eat. I really like them frozen, though.

Sat Oct 08 2005Bite sized! That's actually not as flip a comment as it seems ... the handy size (along with the great taste) makes them convenience food.
by rushboy
Tue Aug 30 2005I really like seedless grapes and I also like grape soda very much .
by texasyankee
Tue Apr 19 2005Ok normally grapes would get a 5 from me but where I am at my grocery stores sell them and they are always yucky. I am talking year-round, and when they look decent, it ends up being ones with seeds!

Tue Apr 12 2005Sexy but boring when eaten alone

Wed Dec 22 2004I really like the green ones and can usually eat a whole bag. However, they go bad really quickly and the whole idea of eating fruit that turns to vinegar later on is pretty nauseating.
by bibliophile
Wed Sep 29 2004I guess that depends on the type of grape. I like Concord grapes but I think I'm in the minority. Otherwise, grapes are just so-so. One thing in their favor is they are easy to eat.
by seraph
Tue Sep 28 2004I don't know why grapes are so popular. I hate the way they taste. And can you really trust a fruit that becomes a RAISIN?
by rainer21
Sun Aug 08 2004Grapes are certainly some of the most unique fruit out there. Coming in a wide variety of colors and flavors, from purple to green, sweet to sour, there's something for everyone. While refreshingly juicy, there's still body to it. Not to mention it's a great finger food and a healthy snack for kids and adults alike. I'll always love my grapes.
