This installment in the GTA series really broke the genre wide open. Miami was a perfect place to set the game, and the radio stations and music really added to the enjoyment of the missions.

violent, offensive, and yet another indiciator of the decline of western civilization.

GTA San Andreas is a better game, but I enjoyed Vice City's atmosphere more. I liked the 80's vibe, the clothes, the characters, and the story more in Vice City. The soundtrack is great too.

This game makes me feel really bad, killing everybody in sight? At least in morrowind, thats not the point of the game

excellent gameplay. lacks the gaphics to put into into the "great" catagory for me. Although the sheer size of the game and the enjoyment factor still leaves it with a high rating with me. I liked the characters and the radio 80's radio stations are great, who doesn't want to cruise through gang neighbour hoods with the roof down listeniong to Judas Priest.... ahhh, takes you back, doesnt it?

My favorite GTA game, what made this game a step above San Andreas was the music and Tommy. Tommy is just a badass and doesn't take anything from anybody, he's one of those great characters like Solid Snake, the guys you wish you could be in real life.

My favorite of all the GTAs so far. Horrible,shoddy graphics, but that was because of disc space-it's a huge game! It gets repititive after a while.

I am so tired of this game. It's already old. and san andreas outranks it a lot

this game is a tie with gta3. i love the radio stations and the city and the cars.

This is a big game. So much to do you almost forget how far you've came in the game. Graphics were greatly improved from GTA III but has the same problems with camera control.The game overall is a classic in my book and I would recommend it to any fan of this genre of gaming.

This game was fun to play and the plot was cool.

I love this game. It's so fun and I'd give it a 20 out of ten. I just can't belive ClassicTvFan47 doesn't like it. HE's just stupid. So what, Mario is just an idiot. But shooting hookers isn't good. And DickWeener is also out, he needs to at least like it.

This game is cool, but it gets really old after only a few days of playing it.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is arguably the best Rockstar game. The graphics are nice (but not perfect), the design of the game is just about perfect, the 80's music is good in its realism, the storyline actually makes some sense and the side missions are cool and follow-on. I especially like the Pole Position club (you know why) and the real weaponry adds realism to Vice City. You can also fly helicopters, sometimes with guns blazing. The best part about Vice City though, is its depth and variety (in several ways). There is nothing truly bad about Vice City, although its graphics can be noticeably glitchy and do sometimes disrupt missions. Other than that though, its the best...Rockstar..game..ever.

OK, here's my opinion. The game is good.

I liked the game for the playstation two but i did decide to buy the game for the computer for the simple fact that you can increase the resolution which means you can make the image look sharper and i dint really like the controls for the ps2 probably cause i play first person shooters on the computer and hate them on the ps2 its just not the same w.o the mouse and keyboard

This game is somewhat of a hollywood phenomenon, somewhat. Starring such voice actors as Ray Liotta (as Tommy Vercetti, the central protagonist) and Jenna Jameson this series has immensely annoyed parents all around the world with its vivid and often humourus depictions of voilence. With an excellent soundtrack direct from the eighties and a couple very entertaining political satires in the conversations between DJs and guests as well as the brilliant mockery of elements of popular culture contained in the commercials this game certainly has its own feel. a vast range of vehicles are included with whitch to wreck havoc from fire engines, ambulances, police cars, helicopters, speedboats, motorbikes and my favourite: the electric scooter. Boasting superbly detailed graphics, excellent logevity and replay value this game is truely a killer-app for the PS2.

Abolutely STUNNING! Beautiful(especialy the wemon), the cars, missions are crafted to absolute perfection. My favorite car is the FBI RANCHER by far, put in the wemon follow you cheat get some wemon in there and just cruise, that baby flies. Over all, on a scale of 1 to 5, I'd give it a 100!

Just another example of how inferior the Sony Playstation 2 is to Nintendo's masterful GameCube console, this game is just mindless and not enjoyable in the slightest. The premise of the game is offensive enough: steal cars, shoot hookers and other law-breaking, morally-offensive acts. In addition, the graphics are pathetic and blown away by any of the Mario or Sonic titles. The sound is lame, and the plot is just stupid. The game, simply, is not creative or upbeat in the slightest. I love Nintendo's quote, Mario will never start shooting hookers! Go, Nintendo!

A pretty good game. Fun to play and rather addicting. It's also pretty hiliarious to see this crazy mobsters running around in cheesy 80's pink pants and talking with the thick "Joey Tony Mozzirelli" accent.

this game is awesome. ive put so many miles on this disk and still will never tire of running around in this beautifully designed, just super advanced video game. there is no end to the stuff you can do in this game. i love it.

Great tension release! This game is fun to imagine that you are killing your worst enemy or even living out a dream (flying an airplane or helicopter), but it is not for everyone. If you have kids young kids, beware. Happy hunting everyone!

I love to play Grand Theft Auto Vice City. I like this game very much. I like the graphics and the action. This game deserves five stars.

If you are ever stressed gta vice city is your answer blowing up anything from pedestreans to helicopters TOMMY is the man: ->. gta vice city is one of the greats in plastation history its graphics are better than most games to date it's got good music real from the 1980's the story line is top class the guns and cars are beautiflly desinged and the charecters are also cool from the women to the men the best thing is the porn studio candy suxxx.

It may not be a good strategy game or a puzzle but GTA VC is the best there is when you just want to drive about, knock people down, steal helicopters and just be downright BAD!.GREAT GAME!

I love this game. The graphics look better, The music is actual music from the 1980s, and what would grand theft auto be without that wonderful freedom to do anything you want to do in the game. You can go on missions, steal cars, etc. But i wish the game would go alittle easier on the violence, but this game is a must play.

This game is so great! I can run around stealing cars, stealing apache helicopters and attack innocent bystanders. All while I buy a porn studio and strip joint. What other game can match that?

Could be one of the best games ever made (until GTA4 comes out). The level of detail, ability to do WHATEVER the hell you want, steal cars, fly helicopters, start riots, or even deliver pizzas is unmatched by any game out there today. I have had this game since it came out and have not yet seen or done all there is to do. GTA VC has set the standard for all other games.

Excellent graphics, characters, etc. The only problem I see is that some of the jobs are too hard to do. (I still can't get past the helicopter blowing up the vacant building)
