ok i think golden retreviers are the best dogs ever for growing up with them and owning onwe at this moment i personaly LOVE goldens so much that i would own 100 goldens if i could so that person who said they didnt like goldens i hate your opinen and why are you even on the golden review if you dont even like goldens. so i love goldens they are awsome family dogs they are great with small 2 people familys or like a 6 person family as long as you can take care of it properly then your good and if you want to see what happens when people neglect thier pets turn on animel planet and see when animel cops is on and watch that because if you love animels it will make you cry thanks for reading my comment! bye from animel-lover<3#1 p.s. do watch the show its so sad yet good to see the people GO TO JAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome breed of dog! So sweet and gentle! We look after a golden retriever and a pomerian for our neighbors.

Golden retrievers are very useful and I think that they are a good looking dog.

I think these are some of the best dogs around. They do everything you'd want a dog to do: swim, fetch, chase geese, etc. Dealing with shedding is a small price to pay in my book.

People really seem to like these huggable, furry sweethearts.

I have a golden retriever and he's the best. But he's a little big. Last time I went to the vet he was 98 pounds.

I want a dog that aint ugly and at the same time a protector. Golden retrivers vary in color and they can get preety big. Its just something bout' its looks, it looks loyal and friendly.

my last comment i was trying to rate beagles..oops. golden retrievers are really good dogs, they are loyal and loving and make great family gogs. i personally would not own one because they are kinda cliche and i don't like the way they look. but if you have kids and a white pickett fence you should definitely get this breed.

This has to be the best breed in the world. Very sweet natured, friendly but not too goofy like labs, loving, intelligent, great with kids - we just love them. This breed is commonly seen as a guide dog or service dog. They do need a lot of human contact - it is cruel to leave a golden in the back yard. This is a dog that should live inside with the humans. Medical check-ups are important; goldens can have hip problems and can develop cancer. They tend to be prone to overweight - no table scraps! Great dogs - THE BEST!

I have this breed, they are so cute when they are pups. Then they grow up to be graceful, loyal protectors. This is a great dog and it's America's dog.

It breaks my heart to see such sweet dogs, who are full of personality and fun, seem to be prone to lymphoma. I haven't looked for any evidence to back it up, other than what I've seen at the specialty clinic where I work. So many goldens come in with cancer than my heart drops when one walks in. Their hearts are as gold as their coats; they tend to be playful, sweet and overall quirky. They're great dogs, and I would recommend them to anyone who can spend a lot of time with them. But I hope that you'll never have to deal with the heartbreak of losing one to cancer.

Golden retriever? the first thing that pops into my head is that big, gorgous, happy face of a true golden. Beautiful dogs. Very gentle and good natured. Quite smart, very eager to please and loyal dogs. Great with children. The only downside to them is the molting, they molt like crazy! They're also active and energetic, so they need plenty of walks. Great dogs, i prefer them to labs.

The best dog breed ever! Our golden is like our son...he is so loyal and lovable! I have never met a dog that can even hold a candle to him...we love him more than anything! ;-)

Nice even tempered dogs for families and very trainable. They can get large and have a lot of hair though. My main reason for not owning this breed is that they have a very high tendency to hypothyroidsm and cancer.

Golden retrievers are smart, gentle and of course a great companion.

This is a great family dog that is even tempered and won't disappoint.
