Tue Oct 09 2007Everything about this show screams “Joey.” The show isn't the same without Dorothy's snarky comments.

Sun Nov 12 2006I really loved this show and thought it was hysterical. I didn't miss Bea Arthur, though she did appear twice. Having Betty White and Rue run the hotel was a hoot.

Sat Nov 11 2006IMHO, this was an excellent show. The characters and actors were great. It had zany, funny moments and then there were shows like the one about the greyhound dogs. Lifetime should run it now. My favorite has always been Rose by Betty White.

Sun Aug 27 2006Hysterical! Bring back the reruns. Such talent and good writing. Kudos to Betty White.

Sat Aug 05 2006This was one of my very favorite shows back then. I wish Lifetime would air it again. Betty White had second billing in Golden Girls, but in Palace she was the mainstay and did a great job at it.

Mon Apr 10 2006Wish they had continued this show for at least another year. Loved it and still watch reruns.

Fri Mar 31 2006Lifetime is showing this series again and I always loved it. Betty White is hysterical in anything she does. She is also a great pro at acting, humor, timing, and even singing and dancing. This was a good program with lots of laughs.

Mon Jan 02 2006Sometimes I'm lucky enough to see this show air on Lifetime and it always cracks me up. Love Betty and am so thrilled that she continues to work on TV. She has such wit!

Mon Dec 26 2005If only this show had been a bit more funny and a bit lees overboard Golden Palace could have been up there with the other soon to come hot 90's shows such as Fraiser or Friends or Everybody loves Raymond! Golden Palace was nice in some ways...The ladies don't become weak and fall apart without Dorothy. They also don't nag about their age but instead they take charge of a hotel that has fallen into disrepair and is having money problems. But I still have problems with the show. Betty White is the star of Golden Palace when she only had third ranking on Golden Girls...Rue McClanahan should have been the star of Golden Palace. Also the script of Golden Palace is too overboard. When Golden Girls was on Rose was never the leader but on Golden Palace Rose seems to be in charge and seems to get the final say. On Golden Girls Blanche was like the goddess of love but her ways with a man were subtle and romantic...On Golden Palace Blance acts like sex freak that can't slow down or stop. Sophia ... Read more

Sun Nov 27 2005So much loved Betty White in Golden Palace. If you compare any of the newer programs to it, they just don't have the laughs and comedic timing that Golden Palace had. Air it again, Lifetime! It wasn't perfect due to the plot, but the girls were great and it makes you laugh out loud.

Thu Sep 15 2005I forgot how much I enjoyed this program until it started rerunning again on Lifetime. Betty is a fine star, and Estelle and Rue make it fun too.

Sat Sep 10 2005I think it's a great show with lots of humor. Rose is awesome, possibly because she is so well acted by dear Betty White. Keep the reruns going, Life-Time.

Fri Sep 09 2005Good follow-up to the Golden Girls. Betty White is the best. Rue and Estelle continue their excellent work. The new supporting cast of Cheech Marin and Don Cheadle are great.

Wed Sep 07 2005Cheech Marin was great in this show, too. Of course, Betty White is the star and my favorite, too, so I'm really loving the reruns on LifeTime.

Tue Sep 06 2005Finally Majesty, someone was brave enough to request this show! Though we lost Dorothy in this show, it is not better like the original Golden girls but this one will give me a laugh anytime. I do say that though it is not purely ladies in the cast, it is as good as the original. You got to hand it to Witt/Thomas Productions for keeping the story alive. Technically, not a classic, but close to one. Love it!

Sun Sep 04 2005Not nearly as good as Golden Girls, but then again it would be difficult to surpass the greatness of that show.

Thu Sep 01 2005Lots of fun! Betty White shined in this show. It's a spin-off of Golden Girls after Dorothy left. The ladies bought a hotel and it had lots of humor. Lifetime has been airing it.
