Had a party 5-1-10. Paid $275 for a party area. That was my first mistake. Second problem was the air conditioning or lack of. It was so hot 2 kids got sick. Complained twice to 3 teenagers working who weren't really working. They were sitting on the floor in the office (where there was air conditioning). Third problem, the employees didn't monitor the floor (because they were in the air conditioned office) at all while older kids (12-13) played tag. Fourth problem, one moonwalk was completely taken over by 4 moms who sat inside feeding their infants with a baby bottle. Very frustrating and costly experience. Won't go there again.

The first strike was not having any staff available to let the older kids know not to trample toddlers on bounce houses clearly marked for kids under 5. In fact there only seemed to be staff at the front door. The second and last strike for me was when I decided to give them a second chance on Sunday 11/8/09. I checked their hours as we were inviting a friend to join us for a playdate. No where on their seziure inducing site did it mention that this day they were closed till 2:30 for a private party. I drove all the way down there to be turned away at the door which made both my kids cry. They don't care enough about their customers to communicate closures or keep them safe. I will not bother again.

Hi I am the owner of Goin' Bananas Playnasium and I appreciate everyone’s positive reviews and I have taken into account the parents concerns. We have monthly meeting to address any issues that have been brought to my attention and I truely try make Goin' Bananas a fun, stress free, clean and safe place for family entertainment. I've talked to our staff about helping parents watch out for the younger toddlers. We had some AC issues this summer. We have brought in lots of fans and have repaired the ACs that were not working. It feels great inside Goin' Bananas! Also, we still stive to be the cleanest party and play place in Austin Texas. I assure everyone that we do clean all of our inflatables and all toys everyday! We've added lots of new items... inflatables, toys, kitchen area and a little dress up nook coming soon! Hope you come play with us really soon!

I took my 16 month old boy and he had so much fun. I will bring him back! But I was worried about the staffs lack of atention on what was going on. I was watching my kid but other moms were just sitting back and letting there kids run wild. I had to stop older kids from getting into the baby play zone. otherwise it was tons of cheep fun!!!! It is great for a rainy day or a hot or cold day.

I am a SAHM, and I really wanted to love this place. Sadly, it freaks me out. I am not one to overreact, so believe me when I say that Goin' Bananas is very unsafe for the toddler crowd. People don't seem to care if their 7 yo (or older) tramples a few toddlers in their quest for fun. The staff at Goin' Bananas just sit huddled around the front door, so there is no one to turn to when a troop of older kids goes crashing through the baby inflatable. They (the staff) also just sit and chat while older kids invade the 2 and under section. The sad part is that the 2 and under section sits directly across from the front desk. I guess the staff just can't be bothered. The older kids are understandably riled up, and they just plow over the toddlers. I wish you could depend on the parents to keep their kids under control, but you can't. If there was a staff member or two in charge of keeping the toddler areas safe I might go back, but not until then.

My husband and I took our 16-month-old son to Goin' Bananas today and we are still talking about how much fun we had. We met up with a friend of mine who brought her 2-year-old and almost 5-year-old. The kids were able to safely run around and they really enjoyed all the activities. There are several huge inflatables for older kids, and there is even an inflatable that is strictly for kiddos under 3. There is a special room for babies under 2 also, which is gated. We enjoyed relaxing in there for a few minutes between romps in the "big room." I felt we were able to supervise our son well, and there are tons of seats, etc. for adults. They even sell Starbuck's iced coffee! During the summer heat, this place is a great option and a wonderful deal.
