Tue Jun 08 2010LMAO!!! SRSLY? He sux. X[ (BTW, Not "God" as in Jesus or any of that Trinity stuff. I mean the Bible God period. Jesus is his own entity and person and prophet who is not the son of God.)

Sun Oct 04 2009No street cred. If he rolls into LQ with a Glock and shoots himself in the nuts, gets a three.

Sat Oct 03 2009Well, I guess you COULD say that God is a person because he came to Earth in the form of a human. He died and came back to life and went to Heaven. And you could say that he is in the world because he's in the hearts of his people. And yeah, he is the coolest.

Sat Oct 03 2009Believe in God because God believes in you. God loves all of us and I love him too.

Sat Oct 03 2009Which one ? PAN is definately cool, running through the forest in his priapic state, playing his syrinx (Pan Pipes),with luschious little wood nymphs chasing him like groupies! Krishna's gotta be cool,he's BLUE and can do it,like, forever with Parvati ( a real hottie). Jahwehs WAY too cranky to be cool,I don't think that old fart EVER gets laid.He takes things out on his own children when he gets pissed.UN COOL to the max.Cernunnos is cool, too, meditating out in nature like some celtic Buddah.I guess it all depends.....

Sat Oct 03 2009Everyone who happens upon RIA on a regular basis are probably more than well aware of how I feel about God. This is something I take very seriously. He is very real to me, and when He is constantly at work in my life as well as in the lives of others, it's hard to think otherwise. When I look in awe at the wonders of this marvelous creation, it's truly amazing to me how God formed it all into place.

Sat Oct 03 2009irishgit - "I'm not sure God can really be described as cool" God - "Keep that up, irish, and you'll be cold before you know it."

Sat Oct 03 2009God the Father is the highest authority there is, and I'm sure there's plenty of people who won't agree with that one. But the truth is what it is.

Fri Jul 10 2009That God is merciful enough to put up with all of our petty issues & concerns makes Him cool in my book. That He sacrificed His Son for us takes it to a whole other level. Cool doesn't really begin to describe Him.

Thu Jul 09 2009How can you be cool if you never have and never will exist.

Thu Jul 09 2009More "hip" than "cool" - especially among his own crowd.

Thu Oct 02 2008God is cool? Maybe I should lend him a sweater...

Thu Jul 03 2008If I think about it, I can find a lot of words to describe God, but sorry, "cool" is not one of those.

Thu Jul 03 2008He doesn't care if we think He's cool.

Mon Oct 01 2007will give GOD a five because i figure that i am a borderline pick for heaven, and don't want to do anything to tip the scales in the wrong direction. GOD is incredibly cool!!!!!!!

Mon Mar 12 2007Cool? Does that mean we can call him the big "G".

Tue Mar 06 20071. Not a person. 2. Cannot be used with the prepositional phrase "in the world" according to some theological philosophers. . .Besides, many of you better hope that God isn't a person or you will have to answer for some of the bizarre interpretations of the alleged rules. . .

Mon Mar 05 2007Who wouldn't want to get inside God's shoes for a day? C'mon now...God is seriously cool.
by genghisthehun
Sun Feb 18 2007In theology we would state infinitely cool. He always was, is now and always will be, COOL!
by callitdownthel_ine75
Sat Feb 17 2007God only knows, and that (at least in itself) makes him ultimately cool!

Mon Feb 05 2007It's hard to give anything above 5 stars, to the big man upstairs. He actually deserves a million stars.

Mon Jan 29 2007Well, he did create everything... So cool, five stars cannot even come close to justifying his coolness.

Tue Feb 14 2006I've been told by several people that God acts through people. Maybe he was acting through the doctors when the plug was pulled and her body was allowed to rest.

Wed Jun 15 2005He did, 10 years ago, when she died. That's right, she died 10 years ago. All of these wackos claiming that she could see and feel were WRONG. her Autopsy confirmed that she was blind, and that her brain had shrunk to half of its original size and WAY below the size it would have to be for her to ever be really alive. She was in a PVS, she could not even feel herself dying or anything. She did not ever know she was alive, she was gone, 10 years ago, when god DID take her. He soul left her body 10 years ago and most Christians and people in genral understand that.

Thu Mar 31 2005Update: Terri has finally earned her eternal rest, its to bad all this fighting had to go on in her name I hope she finally has the peace she deserves now that God has taken her home. If God wants her to live she will survive with out the tube, if not he will welcome her home with open arms and give her the peace that I have no dought she wants.

Thu Mar 31 2005Update: Isn't it amazing that Terri Schiavo was one of the most influencial people of the 21st century, and she did so in a hospital bed? Some question why God would possibly keep her alive while she serves no purpose. In my eyes, she served a much larger purpose than 99% of the people out there who have a fully functional brain. Look at how many lives she's touched. OC: Very touchy because God has a variety of forms and opinions based on your religion. As a Catholic, it is my belief that only God may have the ability to give or take life. If she can remain alive, then she should, and when her time comes it comes. She still has a functioning brain and heart, and who knows, maybe a miracle will get her back on her feet.

Fri Mar 25 2005There is no God.
by mordinar
Thu Mar 24 2005If she dies because men took her life than that was god's plan in the first place. Im not saying that we have the right to take life because we didnt give it. But if he wants her to live he will hopefully give a miracle and shove it in the face of all non-believers.
by feef45f7
Thu Mar 24 2005G-d's will is being expressed through all the people involved in this case - Terri's parents, her husband, the media coverage, the courts, etc. Why do some people always think He is on their side?
by mrpolitical
Wed Mar 23 2005It's very clear that the consensus among many reviewers on RIA is that Terri should be kept from eating or drinking for seven to ten days until her body, which clearly already has taken much abuse, gives in and causes her death. Ultimatly though, nothing will stop God from doing what he wishes to do and, as I stated earlier, to think that a piece of tubing is going to stop the creator of humanity who has infinite power, is ludicrous.

Wed Mar 23 2005I know God will have the final say in her fate. Its just to bad that she is having to go through all of this trouble because of her selfish husband who only wants the insurance money. I think all the people in the court system and all the police guarding her should go six or seven days without food or water and see how it feels. Maybe this is what it would take for them to change their decision. I do believe Terri is fully aware of whats going on and she can feel the pain. May God bless her and take her into His arms and hold her forever when she finally does depart this world. Hopefully she will have the chance to go peacefully one day and not by being starved or dehydrated. Pray for Terri that God will work a miracle. His will is the ultimate authority!
by jed1000
Tue Mar 22 2005It's not up to me - or any other human - to decide if God should have the last say or not. Ridiculous to even pose the question. If you believe in God then you know he'll have the final say. Even if that's through allowing human beings to exercise their free will.

Tue Mar 22 2005I would hate to be in this womans family right now. Its got to be hard on all of them. My gut tells me all you could do at this stage is pray for her. Ms. Shiavo is in that black void where no man can say she will live or not. Those who love her will never say she is ready to go...those who are burdened with her existance...no matter how cruel that sounds, will be ready to let go. I understand both. I do not know all the facts, all the details about her condition and what her chances of any kind of recovery are. I would ultimately listen to my doctor and ask him to recommend a position. Then I would follow his call and pray for a miracle. That is the only way to not feel like all was done should she not make it. At some point you have to trust the doctor and God to do all they can do.

Tue Mar 22 2005It depends on who gets to play God. This is euthanasia, guys, this is a discussion about putting someone to death because her life is a burden to her husband and society. Demonize Bush and the Congress if you want, but call it by the right name.
by cherrysoda99
Tue Mar 22 2005It's God's eternal plan anyway. He already knows what's going to happen to her. He knew before she was even born

Mon Mar 21 2005A few years ago, I placed my fate totally in God's hands. After he had emptied my bank accounts, he took off to Puerto Vallarta, and hasn't been seen since. Please. This suggestion is ridiculous.
by andrewscott
Mon Mar 21 2005Yes, but even Evangelicals are sharply divided on how to interpret God's wishes, as Magellan suggests. A recent poll shows Evangelicals leaning very slightly toward letting Terri pass on to heaven, though this majority is not as strong as in other demographics. Personally, I believe in a benevolent God, who I'd like to think would want us to die naturally instead of being kept for decades in limbo on medical machines, without any realistic chance of being conscious again. I respect those that disagree. Poll results can be found here: http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/PollVault/story?id=5 99622&page;=1

Mon Mar 21 2005Some of you would believe that humans can meddle with God's plan. This is not the case. He already controlls everything.
by buryface_inh_ands
Mon Mar 21 2005I just don't believe in him. It's hard to believe in something I've never even seen, and believe the crazy people who through their hands up and spit while speaking in tounges. No one has a soul, your brain is everything you are. There is nothing floating around in your body.
by castlebee
Mon Mar 21 2005There are no shoulds with this one; He will ultimately anyway.
